so I just saw episode 1 of this new series and thought we might as well start talking about it.
So far its seems pretty interesting and very mysterious.
Dont wanna tell to much about the story yet for those who haven't seen it yet but it has this mysterious/suspenseful feel to it. like if you were to mix death note and detective conan together you would get this anime.
So post what you think about it and what your impression is on it

True, and as soon as I heard it I knew the rest was going to be shit. Now I know why, I don't like anything Ali Project does.

The ED, on the other hand, is great, and it is fitting in a way. Fitting because it doesn't actually seem to fit in, quite similar to Sakakibara, who isn't being socially awkward or bullied, but kept in the dark about his class. It's so bright, and colorful looking, very out of place for the rest of the show, which is dark, foreboding, and gloomy. The song is rather neutral though. It's peaceful, but slightly sad. I like it.

I almost wish that I didn't know Misaki was dead from the very start, figuring it out yourself from the cues other people were giving would have been neat, especially when you hear the nurse tell him about the dead girl, and then the call suddenly being dropped. On the other hand, I think the creepy factor wouldn't have been amplified so well, and instead we would have been very confused.

I'm tired of watching shit and being confused because LOL DRAMA. I rather like being creeped out like this instead.

So ep 2 was nowhere near as creepy and atmospheric as ep 1, it was still good and interesting, just not quite as creepy. I think it's because they are showing Mei way to much, and her creepy presence is undermined a little.

i do agree that they used mei too much on the second episode she almost looses that dark aura about her but it also gives her a certain warmth to her character, i would also like to know what the rest of the students are keeping from misaki.

I'm already tired of the archetype they've been using for young male characters in anime for the past few years. None the less, I'll continue watching this for a few episodes.
