That is why you dont run down stairs!
also i cant figure out how to do the spoiler thing :P
but ep 3 really brought everything together and recovered from ep 2
Man i cringed when she got impaled on the umbrella, but when it showed she was still alive for few seconds after it happened and the blood was squirting out of her neck all i could say is "Wow wtf".
I think the umbrella was overkill. If you look at how she falls, she was going to be fucked up at the very least even without the umbrella. But since this is a horror anime, I guess I can't expect it to not go for the gore. If people who can see Mei have a tendency to die, then I wonder just what it was that Glasses Guy and Umbrella Girl see in place of Mei. A projection like in Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, maybe?
It's hard to get a read on things. Mei seems to be rather harmless for a ghost. I mean seriously, what kind of ghost has a glass eye instead of a gaping hole or some Lovecraftian nightmare. So either people die from something else, or Mei unintentionally causes them to die just by existing. You know, it might be a good idea to tell Koichi the full truth any time now. He's already hanging out with a ghost pretty regularly.
My mind has been blown. This is the first time I seen a body twitching in an anime. When that girl died and she started twitching I was so shocked. You knew it was a painful death, but they never show twitching or even the amount of blood that poured out. I loved it! It was so refreshing and I hate to say it, but it was beautiful.
I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. I just finished watching episode 3 and I'm so preoccupied with seeing that. It's just so new and refreshing for me. I'm sure there are other anime even more gruesome, but for me that's definitely a first going this far, especially on TV. You'd assume the censors would of blacked it out.
I just want more. I knew this anime was going to be good because each episode just got creepier, but this tops it off.
I saw that coming. Now I'm afraid to hold my umbrella while running down the stairs. Also there's another tragic death after that. Read the manga if you're curious. Lol

You clearly have't watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or Elfen Lied then.
