Well I went into this anime with high hopes for its sucess, but was stabbed in the leg and forced to bleed to death very slowly. I really cant explain it but I started watching the show and after the first episode hated it, but said to myself it will get better. Needless to say it didn't. Spoiler:Until the best character Mao showed up and gave me hope but that hope was soon shot down when he was in fact was "shot down". What really gets me is that everyone else seems to think its some "gold encrusted gem from the treasure chest of Xerxes." Anyone think it is as terrible as I do?

Also chess and real combat are two completly different things. Things happen outside the rules luck goes into play. All the plans I saw from Lelouch were flawless and had no problems at all that never happens. CG was trying to be a real world anime and nothing about that is real world.

Lelouch's plans had several setbacks and losses, and he was in no way or means invincible.

Ok I watched half the first season and theres no way i'm finishing it. Also I never once saw lelouch lose ever. If the good guys never lose wheres the excitment I know that nothing bad will happen cause they will win.

I'm not even an avid fan or anything, but you can't judge a series based on the first few episodes.
That's really stupid, actually. You saw a quarter of the series and said he never loses. But he does. In fact, a few episodes after you stopped watching he loses.
Until you finish the series your opinion is invalid.

Well I had to stop watching half way through because my doctor advised me that bleeding from the ears is bad for you. Who knew?

Oh and if a series isnt good at least halfway though the first season how could you even stand watching the rest?

He was your average man with a huge IQ and with a plan he already knew he could execute he just needed some time.

Watching first season again I actually am disappointed by Second season. Sure second season had the mind games and all but it feels like something is missing. I don't really know what but something important left the season and never came back. Maybe it was the fact that the season was short. Maybe if it was 5-10 episodes longer I would have been content.

Now I realize that I am going through what I define as the "What if". It is the question of "What if Rolo wasn't an idiot and killed on sight?" "What if Ohgi went to Lelouch and asked him in privacy rather than go and pressure him?"
I keep wondering what would have happened and this leads to me having fanfiction nightmares where I have been inserted into Code Geass and everyone suddenly knows who I am and I become the guy who sets things straight.

I still enjoy Code Geass don't get me wrong but the anime has gottn to the point where I have to force myself to put the DVD into the hard drve to watch it.

Wow that was long and the thing I must say is that my biggist problem with Lelouch was that he was so smart that no one was even close. It's why I hated him so and one reason I hate the show. Your telling me one kid has more brains than everyone in the most powerful nation in the world. One kid can out smart 4 star generals all the time. Yeah No! No!! No!!! Thats just stupid if you ask me.

I really didn't care. I always thought that he came from a long line of military genius' and had been planning from day 1 to destroy Brittania. Really anime and manga i to entertain. You can't think too deeply on things in an anime unless there is a good morale in the anime like "Masturbating prevents prostate cancer"

BTW think of the many anime cliches in the world for a while that we have seen over and over.
Normal guy becomes super powered
Normal guy is real super powerful
Someone suspects someone of something
Boobs boobs boobs boobs boobs (I don't mind)
Swords
Guns
Balls of STeel

Bleach and GC are 2 different kinds of anime so follow different rules. But the good guys lose all the time in bleach they just dont die (that bothers me).

Stop comparing TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOWS. You compare an anime based around sword fighting and shinigami to an anime about an alternate history, Metal Gear, Mecha, Nukes that teleport you somewhere else, and dudes who were drawn with feminine features. STOP COMPLAINING or GET OFF THIS UNIVERSE AND OVER TO THE ONE WHERE RUSSIA MADE THE NUKE FIRST.

EDIT: I think I may be tired as some of my sentences keep going off from one idea to another.
