I like it but I'm having trouble understanding how the Japanese are trying to potray me as an American (First episode) I tend to hate those "All Americans are stupid so us Japanese make jokes about em" shows but I'm confused with this.
Anyone else a little turned off by how all the Americans knew Japanese? At first I was happy since normally in America, Americans speak Japanese (In anime) but here they were speaking English and not poorly spoken Japanese English either. Its a good show so far but I have no idea where its going.
Also I knew the intro song for ONCE IN MY GOD DAMN LIFE! So I was like happy :)

He looked like a bum sitting like that. Remember the homeless man who got stabbed in public and nobody bothered checking him out for around five hours and by that time he was already dead? Happened in reality.

Let me make a very broad guess of some of the events of the story. The women who cuts the dicks of men was probably raped or sexually abused as a young girl and because of such she wanted to clense the world of all lewd men (She picked up that kid when he was drunk) and so that is why she was picked as one of the Messiahs since she felt so strongly about cleaning up Japan of rapists and what not.
Also about the "Supporters" I highly doubt that whoever killed that Messiah was the Supporter. I say this because they revealed him... that is to say we got a good look at the man and they'd never show us who he is (explanation: since they showed THAT MAN!!! we could assume that the women we were introduced to wasn't the Supporter and also the main character isn't the Supporter which really restricts some of the shit they can do with the show (plot twists) so I'm assuming that (again broad guess) main character was the Supporter and he ordered the death of that Messiah before his mind was wiped)

I think that the main character was the supporter but wiped his mind and to see what Mr. Outside would do and the result of that was te new supporter. Im thinking thats why he was about to do somthing in front of the white house, untill he wiped his mind... cause he wouldnot be able to follow mr. outsides orders anymore if he had his mind erased.

Remember when the police officer said "Kill these two" with the debt collectors? Someone from a car nearby shot at them, remember? He also gave them an order first. They didn't instantly shoot and kill the two men. So its safe to assume that IX could have ordered his death after he had a meeting with him since he knew he would try to find who he was (...and since he was a supporter he'd have to kill the man or he'd be killed)

I believe that IX was and still is the supporter. His assistant can't just erase his memory instantly they needed to develop the technology first. I forget where but they speak about how the lab was developing the brain washing program... I think IX went to the WhiteHouse in order to force Mr. Outsider into working faster. They obviously have influence in Japan (The governor saying 'Uncle' is proof of that) but we haven't had any evidence they have influence in America. So its very likely that IX was going to expose their game to the president or get attention to himself and them find out about it. The man in the car reinforces this belief since he was probably there to kill IX if he went ahead and acted on his own.
Again this is all a broad guess.

Ah, episode 7 - the WTF just happened episode. I'm sure everyone who's been following the series got that very same reaction upon witnessing Shiratori's transformation sequence, as I did, even if the voices at the back of my head were screaming all the while that it must be some sort of illusion, it has to be! - which indeed was confirmed as the episode ended. As always, I was left in a daze yet again.
Too bad that she'll have to die sooner or later. I grew quite fond of her in this episode. She wasn't entirely an evil Selecao despite her upbringing in the series as the infamous Johnny snatcher.
As the way things are going with only 4 episodes left, I wonder, did Production I.G. stitch them up altogether for a conclusive finish? Not like speculating would help the cause but it just shows you how clueless I am due to the series' unpredictability. But then again, I almost forgot about the "movie" which is expected to come later this year, after the TV series have concluded. Hope it's not just a compilation...

For all we know, making love was nothing but a ploy to distract/get Shiratori's attention... to ensure Ousugi's safety. Or perhaps, he simply did feel like doing her. (no doubt I would if I were in his shoes)

Judging from the facts, it could only have been Ousugi either way. The thing that we don't know is, how the heck was he suddenly replaced by a different guy? But that has probably got something to do with the "illusion" trick whatsoever. Unless of course we get to see him by the next episode as if nothing actually happened.
