In early preparation of the FALL season, this one looks promising. Truth is, this is just one of the few others that already have released a PV... out of a number of new series that I'm interested in.
I'll probably work on adding more info as when the time comes for it to begin. What matters most to me is that it is from the same animation studio that brought us Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, and Michiko to Hatchin; manglobe
It's website is also up and running so check it out. In any case, its PV could also be seen from there.

Just to add that Luke, the male character reminds me of Akizuki from Bakumatsu quite a bit.
This might prove to be a good replacement for Tears to Tiara by the time it finishes by the end of summer. That series is losing its grip, if it hasn't already lost it entirely. (something that usually happens in RPG themed adaptations that has way too many characters at its disposal)

Yep, it's decided; I'll follow this anime into hell. Love the piccie as well and it sounds like it will be one of the better anime series this year. But, I can't help being a little scared off by the name; "The Sacred Blacksmith"? Durr?
There are so many new releases coming I just can't seem to choose what to start watching first... (hell just gonna watch them all..XD)
EDIT:damn, just watched the trailer again and wow really has that RPG feel into it...

I do agree. Although it might be attributed to the way the studio parlays the storyline of the original RPG, I daresay Tears to Tiara was uber-killed. The PS3 storyline was too complicated to be squeezed in this series, and yep right, they tried to squeeze in too many characters.
I'm actually drawn to light novel-based anime series more since light novel writers tend to focus more on story than thir manga counterparts. The Sacred Blacksmith one fits the bill, and I'll be watching out for this series.
I saw a trailer for this awhile back and I'm not sure what to make of it. It's definitely different from manglobe's other titles, so I might give it a try.
Wow the 2nd trailer really makes me itch in anticipation for this series, So basicly Luke is like uber sword master and that woman wants to be as good as him? seems like it's something like that.
This is a definite must watch for me. Though if its an every week episode the wait will surely kill me. Though that is to be expected for great animes.
Hmm.. I just now realized that the sword Cecily is wielding is broken. 100% that that sword is something special and will play a role in the series, lol.
Certainly you'll be seeing me watching this anime. So as long it keeps up it's artwork and not messing up the storyline. I'm not really into femles playing the "I'm not giving up" role, so hopeful, this anime can proven me wrong about my view.
Anyway, does anyone noticed the female lead looking like a certain someone from "to aru majutsu no index"?
