Aria looks swell, and so does Cecily, esp on those book covers.
PS: Siegfried is too awesome of a name to have so I look forward to seeing him in action. Btw, that name was actually my second choice next to hermit, in which I obviously didn't choose.

The story takes place after an abominable war that foisted a "devil's contract" upon a land. Cecily Campbell, a former noble's daughter who joined a knighthood, encounters a man who dispatches some hoodlums with one sweep of a mysterious sword. So yeah This will basicly be about that woman trying to get the guy to repair the sword and the guy refuses so she follows him around and he has to save her ass all the time... or I could be wrong and it takes a whole different direction. We just have to wait and see? How do you think this anime will play out HermitVI? :D

... I definitely smell a connection to Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto.
And I fucken loled when I saw the blade snap off. I just hope she doesn't become a useless character and actually grows up beyond that naivety that all shonen/tomboy type characters seem to have.

So, I just watched the first episode, and I'll say this is another one of the anime this season I'll keep watching. This season is chock-full of decent anime, isn't it? Great animation for this series.

Well I have just seen episode 1 and this is definitely an anime I'm going to keep watching ^^. It's going along just as how i predicted so far tho... Luke has to save her ass all the time=\. and she wants him to acknowledge her.

Decent episode for a debut. I sense some amounts of wins with this series, may it be one that'll constant entertainment just like Bakemonogatari
I really hate cecily. Both the name and the character.
Perhapes it's due to be having a long list of history of viewing too many character of such an fool hardy character.
She looks unappealing to me. A person without skills should not step into the battlefield. If she doesn;t treasure her life, i galdly watch her die when she's fighting her first battle. The anime would've been better with just luke and lisa.

Just dropping by here, don't expect too much of me posting Hermit... I'll try though.
So, just finished watching ep 1 and it looks like it can turn out to be a very interesting anime - I'll definitely keep watching it.
Luke is awesome, fyi. And woah, yeah, Luke is a god damn clone (not in the personality department though) of Akizuki from Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto, just like you said Hermit. I like that they gave him a katana and not some ridiculously huge broadsword or something - katana is def my favourite sword.
Lol-moment of the anime: "Is.. this a battle?" No! It's not a merely a battle... it's a cooking contest! Tch.
But anyway, I like her. A hot, curvy female with a sword and an attitude to boot - not many things can top that in an anime.
Anyway, will be looking forward to see what you have to say about the series Hermit. 'Til then.

Finally the first episode is released!!! gonna watched it now..^,^ finished!
This series first episode re awakened my passion for Knights, Swords and Big ass monsters!
Two things caught my attention:
First, maybe it's just me but Luke looks like the guy from shadow skill in the moment he cut the sword of the crazed knight in the market...
Second, kinda reminded me of Ragnarok the animation...
And overall Luke is on my list of Bad ass swords men, Cecily the courageous female knight that inherited her families pride (I can't wait for her to improve on her swordsmanship..XD), and Lisa is just damn cute! epecially on the ending credits her tripping over was KAWAII! (and the forging process with Luke was an awesome sight...) and for Aria for now i can't wait to see her in action in the series...(some kind of a mage? guessing form the trailers and opening...)
Anyway can't wait for the next episode to be released...^,^
