Worst Anime Purchase

Indeed I have, with good reason too. While naming a good, thoughtful anime with less than 25-26 episodes isn't very hard (AnoHana and Haruhi come to mind), rattling off a list of AFWUL 1 season anime that's about 100x as long is easy. That is why I've come to expect the worst. Having high expectations with the mass quantities of shit produced these days is silly.

I got the whole first 2 seasons of Robotech and oh gosh it was the worst purchase I have ever made in my life, and i couldn't watch it with english subs it was all english voice acting it was terrible...oh and I bought it all for 5 DOLLARS!!!!!!

Project Arms. I honestly thought it would do better, but watching some episodes....it just didnt work out

I don't buy anime, and I don't plan to unless I've watched the whole series/movie/whatever it happens to be, and I love it enough to actually spend money on it.

I have bought some anime t-shirts a few years back, but I can never bring myself to wear them in public. I guess that's a waste of money, then.

K-ON and the melancholy of haruhi izumiya. For some reason, i dont like them.

I bought Hellsing: Ultimate 1, Hellsing vol 2-7, X/1999 anime series 1, 3, 4, and 5 and two volumes from the X manga. I never bothered to continue on, this was almost five years ago, so no big loss. I love both series, but it just seems like a waste since I never bothered to continue either of them, seeing how the X anime actually got an ending is somewhat annoying. At least I heard that the manga never finished (even today, it's still unfinished I think), so I didn't waste more money on volumes.

Wow... Robotech is an even greater insult to anime than 4Kids. Its like if I took a Bruce Lee movie, Freaky Friday, and Transformers and tried to make a coherent plot from it.

I recently bought Strawberry Panic the whole novel series, and let me tell you, it's really fucking boring and every character is a cute lesbian HOW DID THEY SCREW THAT UP. Also I bought the first two volumes of GANTZ it's not that it's bad it's just a really long series and I don't really see myself buy more.

The first whole season of D-Gray Man that has all 108 episode or whatever (I don't even remember since I haven't watch it all yet). At first I was happy to purchase a good series for about 30 dollar. But After watching the first couple of episode, I notice the english subtitle was so horrible to the point where I can't watch it anymore. The Japanese Audio was fine. Then the next day, I regret in purchasing it. This is the worst purchase I made. -__-

bought a gir hat online and since i have a big head it doesnt look right and i also got some deathnote and naruto headphones but they where cheaply made

Not an anime per say, but being dumb enough to buy a $10.50 movie ticket for Dragonball:Evolution. The first and only movie that I walked out of.

I bought a fake Figma off the internet, I wasnt very happy.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it was volume 2 of the Girls Bravo manga. I didn't actually like the first one but I wanted to see whether it improves. It doesn't.
