Worst Anime Purchase

i bought the whole series of Alice on Deadlines at otakon, but the ending really sucked so that was like 40 bucks wasted i could have used for another manga or those kool googles i always want =(

My worst purchases have to be dollfie's for two reasons.
1) They stain so easily where most people don't even keep them in dark clothing. If they shoot in dark clothing they take them off after the shot and never leave them for long in dark clothing.
2) The community is full of elitists and that really turned me sour on dollfie's altogether. There are a few great people out there, but the elitists far out number the average person.
I still follow a few people as they weren't elitist and produce some great photos, but for the most part I don't view many others.

I am ashamed to admit, my worst anime purchase was my own fault, and it came from buying an anime series online without knowing what 'Region Code' meant. When you get your long awaited purchase and it doesn't play is bad enough, but when it was your own fault for not doing your homework is even worse! *hangs head in shame*

Detective Conan (Case Closed) hands down.
Not that I'm complaining that it's a bad anime... it's just WAY TOO LONG. I bought every single release from Part 1 to Part 11... and it's still NOT ENDING. There's about 600 episodes or more plus all the movies and the live action versions etc. I would love to buy every single DVD but sadly my wallet screams at me in protest.
Never, NEVER buy anime shows that run for more than 25 episodes. That's what I learned.

I ordered Code Geass on DVD
The subs on that were fucking horrible; examples
the actual text would be something like "August 10, in the year 2000 of the Imperial Calendar. The Holy Brittanian Empire declared war upon Japan" (source Bandai official subs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLx_mHTyfrs)
On the dvd, I just checked again and that same part is subbed.
"On August 10, 2000, Brittania attacked Japan"
I mean, seriously guys.

1/4 scale Mizuho completed resin figure from Yahoo Japan.

I accidentally put in the equivalent of $800 I knew the exchange rate, just fat fingered the bid on a bidding service that didn't have the software at the time to ask you if the bid placed was correct before finalizing it.
So $600 later I own a preprinted Mizuho from Onegai Sensei.

A bad anime purchase? I will probably say the Kuroshitsuji poster that I spent £10 on only for it to turn out to a A5 paper :S

I'm glad I saw it because I used to be a huge Dot Hack fan, but I should have just watched it online like I did with Roots, both of which are not worth owning in the slightest.
I totally like agree with you on that one; I liked sign (even though it wasn't great), had just beaten the .hack games... and was all excited for the next one... it was a total disappointment. Shugo's sister attraction was creepy. It was a huge waste of money.
