Hi, Yoshii, de'Cypher or Simon, whatever you want.
Still playing games, still bantering, life is good. Made a lot of friends from here, some more unlikely than others.
No bear tribute cuz I'm far too lazy, sorry Gambler.
If you did not bring it up, I wouldn't have known you are Yoshii. ^_^;;
Glad to see life is treating you well. Yes, unexpected friendships can develop on the forums, which is a bonus.
It does not have to be a bear tribute image. I meant, anyone can post anything, including an image of whatever they like, as long as no rules are broken. :)

Been through multiple depression attacks and stuff, then got into our country's SAE team (we basically build formula cars) and now I'm... content but not happy per se, but it'll do.
I've been actively keeping contact with certain old members from Fakku as well, especially Symeria Shadowsong (who's now my drinking buddy) and iam1vs100xp.
Anyway, sup?
Everyone aims to be happy, but I suppose contentment will be a suitable substitute.
Like everyone else, I am glad to see you doing well in certain aspects, even though you may claim otherwise. Nonetheless, being humble is a good trait. :)
Send my regards to Symeria and Iam1vs100exp too!

And I still miss Zak up to now. I have been here since 2008 or even before that. I was a lurker at that time but recently joined, so that I could see those stuff in the visual novel section. Speaking of which, there had been less activity there lately. Anyway, I eventually ended up posting in the forums, especially in the CTFG section.
Reality is hitting me hard, so I seldom post nowadays. I mostly post in that yandere fan club thread for updates every now and then.
I miss Zak too. I can't see images of Lamia without thinking of Zak. ^_^;;
My obsession with bears has increased; so has your obsession with yanderes. :D
Reality may hit us hard, but don't let it take us down. Got to keep fighting hard. Fighto!

But you get a lot of benefits and that's really the better part of it.
Because even if you don't necessarily make a substantial amount in the military, you get a lot things like your rent and utilities paid for, you get money for food, you have pretty decent health coverage and you get a lot of help for going to school.
And if you're able to stay in until retirement, the pension isn't too bad either.
The really nice pay tends to be more on the officer side of the house though.
The benefits you listed will be useful to lots of people.
Seems like the articles and news reports I read are mostly written by officers, which explains their high salaries.

Foreground (informally) here.
Joined in 2010 to keep track of favorites, forgot about the website for a few months, and then I made another account when I couldn't figure out my old one.
Nothing much has happened since I've joined, besides making good friends with people on the site and watching much more anime. Currently hoping to get a nice job after I finish my current course.
Let us both work hard in our search for a suitable, if not perfect, job! Fighto!
It need not be bear images. Seems like people are getting the wrong idea. ^_^;;

Yo yo, I'm Lughost.
Back in the day, I looked at the community and thought "I want to be a part of that; they all look like they're having so much fun." People know me now, we chat in skype and some of us even meet up once a year for Akon. I don't think it's sad or false to say that I feel some of these guys are up there in best friend land. They've helped me through 4 deaths of those close to me since I joined and I really can't thank those guys enough...
But here I am, five years later, coming back day after day just to see what's going on. Fakku has become a pretty important part of my life along the way and I think that's kinda cool.
Your post has increased my determination to develop and maintain friendships. Even though two parties may meet through an online site, it could eventually develop into a strong friendship, as long as hard work and effort is put in.
Yes, the forums do hold a special place in our hearts. :)
Not necessary to post bear images. Any image which you like is fine. Even if you do not write an introductory post. ^_^;;

It's a lot of fun, and it's thanks to my 3D waifu that I got the JaME position. I wish you luck with your classes!
I'd definitely be happy to do that. IB would be a pretty hilarious place to do it, but I wouldn't want to get the banhammer for speaking another language, though I'd like to do it.
Let me contact you via PM so that we can get something started. :D
I wouldn't want to break the rules either.
