Concerning that thread of mine:

Most of what I have written for the 'prologue' is nonsense. After all, prologues are about what has happened before the story proper. In fact I am glad you did not understand it. At least you understood how I feel whenever I read the prologues of other people's work.

At the very least, I have the geography in place, I have the characters in place. I would refer to it whenever I decide to continue the story.

1. Four places: Far North, North, South, In Between.
2. Four peoples: Gods, Not-Monkeys from the North, Not-Monkeys from the South, Monkeys
3. They lived in relative harmony until the Gods are fed up with it.

Pacifica: It depends on much publclity it receives and whether the judges would want to many entries or less than a dozen entries. Give me the theme and I will come up with something. I will most likely participate.

well I think if the way you wrote it could be simpler, the prologue could easily be understood, but I guess it was intentional to make it not to be understood? =)

yup, that's how I also got the idea that you're satirizing about how people written their prologues =)

Might do something more proper at the end of the day. I might establish the universe of the story hopefully in a way that everyone can understand. Now that is not my forte.

the same way could be said on making people to understand even when I'm writing simple things. most of the occasion I can't even guess who came and who didn't came because everyone just seems to ignore it like it never existed in the first place! and that's a good thing, to be said ^__^

I would say yes. I still don't think it has to be a front page event or have many/any prizes. Though, there might be only a handful of entries mostly consisting of the people from the writing lounge.

Nonetheless, there is definitely a large difference between having me hosting a contest, and you or Xenon hosting a contest. The experience makes you respected.

On another note, the most unexpected person has posted in the collaboration thread. It's good to see Jerry post every so often~

I am quite pleased that Jerry has posted in the Xenon's thread. At least we can continue the story, hopefully with a proper plot, nonsensical as it will become due to me contributing to it.

That said, xnine, have you tried reading "That is a Bloody Long Title, isn't it?". High said he cannot understand what I have written which is what I am trying to go for. However, I hope it can be entertaining.

hmn... im honestly leaning towards not wanting to host. without prizes a contest isn't even contest in my opinion, and i have no ideas for prizes this time.

okay, now I know why sometimes it would take thousands of words for me to write a single H scene, or maybe up to 10k words if I'm really bored and have nothing better to do~
