Honestly, I don't think I've ever really asked a girl out. I'm usually the type that kinda lets whatever happen happen. I've found personally that just being myself, which in real life is fairly philosophical, but goofy and flirtatious, and being confident that I'm happy in my own skin, will lead the girls to you. Granted I haven't found the love of my life and gotten married this way or anything, but I've sure had a lot of fun along the way. Also, most of the time it works better to be the guy in the back just cracking jokes and being fun, than the guy trying to spout off lines and constantly trying to get with the girl.
In other words, stop trying so hard, a lot of girls get turned off if a guy seems to desperate. Just relax and be yourself and be happy with that, well, I guess being physically attractive and making a good living help as well, but you know what I'm saying.

yeah, i understand, i think "being physically attractive" > "every other good quality a guy has", why do today society's stereotype women seem so picky and high&mighty, on several occasions where my friend asked a girl out in a social dance party, the replies were "oh, no, i don't think so" or "sorry, but i've got one already"(u know she doesn't) or even "eww"(trust me, my friend is not the ugly type, he's more fit than an athlete) , even when i'm only talkin about the certain stereotypes, the general qualities of a "lady" seems to be down graded, most of the girls in my school dress like they just plain want "it", u know, exposing more than 80% of their body and swinging their booties around like they don't care, but they'll kick u in the face if u even try to act nice around them, what happened? did we gentleman do something wrong in the past? or has culture evolved beyond my understanding, has the acts of certain drunk celebrities poisoned today's female teenagers' minds?
and of course, i didn't mean to offend anyone, but the truth is there, the facts are so, the reason i'm goin for older types(university or college students) is that they seem more mature and understanding than ur average highschool "chick". A drink never hurts, does it?
