Was twelve, playing baseball after school, was up to bat. I Swung, and unbeknown to me, it hit the top of the bat, and flew straight up, and after hearing "Above You" I did the only sane thing a sane person would do, I looked straight up, right in time for the baseball to slam into my face and break my nose, luckily I didn't loose any teeth.
When I was in sixth grade and playing baseball in PE. I was assigned the outfield position. Since not many people in my class were very large individuals not many balls headed out into the outfield. Thus letting me spend long tracks of time during our baseball days doing absolutely nothing.
One day was different however. My friend David got up to the plate and put some bat behind the ball. The ball went screaming into the outfield as everyone stood dumbfounded. It was coming towards me so I dove for it. Bad News: I landed wrong and my pinky caught the ground and bent so far back I could feel the back of my hand. Good News: I caught the ball for an easy out.
