Allow me to display my incredible and vast guru knowledge of firearms. This little piece of badassery right here appears to be a full sized katana integrated with a colonial to US civil war era percussion rifle or possibly an even older flintlock or matchlock-action rifle. The blade sheath serves as both a sheath for the katana and as a full length stock of the rifle for the barrel to rest on. Quite an ingenious weapon if I do say so myself. The only drawbacks and downsides I can see to this design are a) the obvious fact that it is not an automatic weapon or even a semi-automatic, but rather it utilizes a long outdated firing system that went out of style over a century ago and b) that the trigger mechanism and hammer are both located on the butt/sword hilt side of the separation line which could cause some issues with the balance of the blade and possibly lead to damage of the firing mechanism, effectively neutralizing the rifle part of the weapon. Other than those two points, it looks pretty fucking badass.

@lollollol12: dude, there are some things at the college level that you don't learn in high school, AP or not. And as for your original question, the SD I'm refering to is the range of average human capabilities, then something beyond 1 from 2 and 3 would be your body builders, your marathoners/sprinters, your geniuses. Then further beyond that would be "superhuman". I'm making this up, but surely you can see tell that the distribution of human capabilities can only go so far, even if we were to get data from a population, it would turn out something like so anyways.

Definitely Katana more honorable and rifles are screwed without bullets unless it has a bayonet but against a katana screwed either way.

A rifle can be used to block Katana blows and if it's the right one, the butt can crush skulls.

@Super_Danmaku: a gunblade doesn't fire anything at all. It just looks fancy, and the weapon is about as good as the user. Imagine if somehow we get a cartridge-like system featured in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A onto the gunblade. The revolver part of the gunblade would actually have use as a gun/sword hybrid where each pull of a trigger would create a more powerful strike upon impact, and different bullets would create different attacks. That would seriously be awesome, even though I'd rather shoot you with a gun than come charging with a gunblade.

Katanas have got style, but I so prefer Rifles. ...and that has nothing to do with the fact that I play a hunter on WoW. Noooo not at all. <_<
