Why can't we get the girls?

unn... i dunno either :3 maybe for the same reason i can't get the guys? XD considering that i am the geek of the universe, i've no experience in this topic anyway ^_^; ehehe. but i guess i would say:

1)you're only considered a friend
2)she's denying she likes you in her mind
3)you're not being confident enough (it's not like i'm confident in speaking to guys anyway but... still..!! >///<)

Honestly, what girls do you talk to? My friends and I definitely want romance and friendship. Maybe you're going for girls who are cheap sluts or they just want to have fun? I don't know. Anyway, I don't believe society has taught females to like getting slapped on the ass more than actual romance.

Well no but I wouldn't neglect the fact that there a some mediums out there that somewhat influence girls to "whore themselves out". I'm not saying all of them do this but I've noticed that a good amount of girls nowadays find it normal to be slapped on the ass and all that jazz, it's like they find it normal to take more abuse just because it comes from a guy they like. Personally I find it degrading for other women, a girl's body shouldn't be their primary weapon because it'll most likely attract the "bad sort of guy". (The kind that has no respect for women and sees them as their personal eye candy.)

There are mediums for everything. Yes, a good amount of girls find it normal. But it seemed to me like he was condemning most of the females in the world and I, being a female, felt the need for a correction. :)

Some find it normal because, in some twisted way, it's a guy showing attention to the girl which she is going to enjoy. It's not the right kind of attention, but it's attention and some girls like that. (I assume we are talking about people who are not in solid relationships and give a girl a smack on the ass when she's walking by and not the kind of people who are in steady relationships and the guy sometimes gives a light tap on his girl's ass. Honestly, I find the latter acceptable. I don't personally want it, but it's acceptable.)

I believe that a girl's body should (or rather it's okay to) be a weapon, but combined with others. I use my looks, my intelligence, and my personality to attract guys. So it's not my primary weapon, but it's one of them.

They may attract the "bad sort of guy", but wouldn't it be half their fault for liking the "bad sort of guy" back. Unless they aren't that smart to realize that the guy is bad.. Also, why wouldn't good guys be attracted to a girl who uses her looks to her advantage? D:

Of course when you give your own girlfriend a pat on the butt I don't see what's wrong with that, as long as she doesn't mind and you don't do it too often.


I agree with the fact that a girl's body should and can be used as a weapon for attraction, but there's a difference in using it (combined with your other perks) and simply abusing it (using it as your only weapon) by showing off their cleavage all the time and letting some horny simpleton touch their ass because it makes them feel like they're the center of attention, because that'll just make them see you as an object rather then a person.

Anyone can be attracted to someone who uses their looks to her advantage (I've felt attracted to girls for their looks before), but when somebody uses it as their sole manner of attraction then that just puts me off. I like a person for what they are in a whole, not just a good set of breasts and a well formed butt, hence why I more easily fall for people who'm are intelligent and have a good personality rather then nice looks.

So what I'm saying is, it's perfectly normal to use your looks to your advantage but it shouldn't be the only thing that's important.

You're sounding like one. =P I would know, I volunteer at an old folks home. Although, I'm not going to lie, they hold really great conversations.

anyways, i guess some reasons are we otakus like to hang out with other otakus, and (i'm just judging the girls in my school so don't get angry for those who are cute, shy, wears glasses, and are otakus) alot of otaku girls aren't attractive..i guess. don't hurt me. snoogins

I don't hang out with anyone who likes anime, hentai, manga, etc. because I don't tell anyone that I'm into it. I'm a closet otaku. No one except my best friends (who don't like anime or manga anyway) know.

(This isn't me attacking you btw. :] Kay?) I'm not shy and I don't wear glasses. I'm outgoing, fun, and in all honesty, very attractive. I'm a popular girl who is a closet otaku. So, just putting that out there. And some otaku boys aren't attractive, some are. I think saying that most otaku girls are not attractive is a poor generalization.

Well, otaku guys generally dont have a flourishing social life outside the house. So really what it comes down to is the act of hanging out with people who dont step out of the house very often. It gets boaring. Also otaku girls, being girls, socialize more so are harder to distinguish and more likable, being more active. It all comes down to how much attention one gives. Plus "otaku" is just too vauge to aptly describe a group.

Hm, if someone has trouble starting a relationship, it probably stems from a combination of a lack of experience in social situations, low self esteem, and possibly some bad experiences with members of the opposite sex.

You just need to get out to social events and start interacting with people. And if you want to meet otakus, go to a con or something.

That's really true. Being fat isn't nearly as bad as being ungroomed. If you take care of your appearance, and most importantly of all, smell nice. Girls love it if you smell nice.

Razama was a fatty (yes honey, you were a fatty don't try to hide it) but I new he worked out a lot with friends. So it was kind of like "okay this is just how he looks, but my boyfriend can out run yours even though he doesn't look it" And that made me proud which in turn built attraction towards him I guess.
