Guys, I've been trying to get my wife's friends to go out with geeks.
However if they're any indication, too many girls prefer married guys and guys who cheat on them (or would rather blow strangers in a bar parking lot) than a guy who would actually like a nice stable relationship.

Believe me, if those girls are your choices, you single guys are better off alone.

However, there are plenty of girls on sites like okcupid, otakubooty, and geek2geek. I got plenty of hook-ups from there, and though my wife would disagree, I don't think I'm all that hot.

@happy_skull - this might be because married guys, dicks who'd cheat on them, and men asking for bj's in the parking lot usually have more confidence, bawlz, and lulz than a boy who is shy doesn't talk about anything besides video games and anime.

Not that there is anything wrong with talking about video games and anime but you gotta show her you aren't just a complete lay about and you can take charge as a man. Maybe if all those "nice guys" out there would man up, us girls wouldn't be falling for douche bags asking for blow jobs in the parking lot.

I'm no douchebag, but hell if a blow in the parking lot doesn't sound fuckwintastic.

Why is it always the guy that has to do everything, like walk up and talk to girls and make all the first moves? It would be so cool if I could sit on a bench and play psp and have a girl walk up and just strike a conversation instead of how it is in real life where I try to initiate a conversation and everything goes to hell. If a girl walked up to me and started a conversation I'm sure it would end just as bad but still it would be a nice change of pace. I'm tried of having to man up.

Well I can't get a guy because I'm:

- "one of the guys"

- too good to be true so I must be lying about my love of video games, porn, and toys

- too nerdy

- too tall, bigs, busty, friendly, red headed, loud, funny, gross, perverted, geeky, talkitive.

I dunno.... boys at my school suck.

I love girls like that, and I know a lot of guys who do as well, so I dunno what to tell you.

Same (about the knowing lots of guys who love girls like that).. so either you're not putting yourself out there enough or something.

The underappreciatedness there is such a shame, a silent tear drops from my face.

But yeah perhaps it's because your stuck in the "friend zone", which can seriously be a pain.

My reasoning:

Currently, all the girls I know all lack self respect, and love guys that push them around like they're nothing to them. I'm the typical 'nice guy' who is stuck in the friendzone, and I will never ever ever ever be out of it for anybody. I am friendzone'd by every female human being nearly the instant I open my mouth it seems. So if I ever like a girl, it's always one of the following:

"I'm really sorry, but I think we should just stay friends"
"I just don't like you that way."
"I already like somebody else, sorry."
"I'm not interested in dating right now." (This one usually includes them getting in a relationship in a couple of days.)

I'm the guy who's friends with all the girls he knows. I'm there for them when they're upset, I'm there to catch them when they fall. But sadly I have to be nice and cheer them on to get hooked up with the guy they like, while keeping her oblivious to the fact that I would personally give my life just to hold her in my arms.

For example; today I was talking to one of my many female friends on AIM, and when I asked her what was up, she said she was upset because her boyfriend got drunk and apparently 'said some things he shouldn't have.' While I listen to a few details, I am becoming quite depressed. I think this girl is amazingly beautiful, and as I said before, I would give my life just to hold her in my arms, and yet she's dating this absolute jerk. If I were a girl, and my boyfriend got drunk and said horrible things, I would dump his ass so hard he'd have a permanent hangover.

I'll never understand females. It's as big a mystery to me as the creation of the universe is to everybody else.
