I completely agree. If the world ends tomorrow, who's gonna be around to complain? Just live your life. We should realize that "The End of the World" isn't the only think that can kill us. Wars, school shootings, shootings in other places, deadly bacteria, snakes, even bees. It gets me confused that people are so afraid of t"The End", that they get themselves killed by being careless, and stung by a jellyfish. Irony.

In our life, any little thing can kill us, so don't let a 1/1000000000000000 chance distract you from what is truely important.

Funny isn't it? We didn't really look at this issue until the movie 2012 came out. Therefore is it really THAT important? Because barely anyone seem to keep it on their mind

At this point i think we can all agree this is a farce. however the majority of people are well none to bright. nothing is going to happen in the sense the media is making it out to be, its going to be more along the lines of chaos caused by mass hysteria from the mass of stupid people that inhabit this world (the united states atleast) who lack the ablity to think for themselves. and believe anything the media tells them. so in short is something going to happen, yes, is it going to be armaggedon? no.

The biggest red flag i see in all of this is the fact there is an exact date given. why would scientific community give an exact date on something that is purely theory like this, they wouldnt.

I agree. I learned a quote a few years ago. I cant remember who said it, but it went like "Fear of events do more damage than events ever do." Or something like that. It's pretty much saying. "RELAX! If something is going to happen, who cares? Just calm down and go on with your life."

You know Y2K? That caused so much panic. People stole things, people killed, people used ALL of their money, people did so much wrong. but when the next day came and went, with nothing bad happening, those people's lives were ruined!

The worst thing is, no one admitted to beleiving it would happen. Not a single person daid,"Oh, Damn. I was wrong." No. They went, "Oh, I knew it! See? I told you." Even though they had five years worth of stolen food in their basement. The same thing is bound to happen this time too.

The same things that happened before New Years Eve, 1999, are going to happen in 2012. Lots of people were shit scared of Y2K happening. My uncle packed boxes of water bottles and canned food in his basement. I went to my cousin's house to celebrate the new year and played some DDR on his PlayStation. I was 13 at the time, so I understood what was happening. 2 hours into the new year, my uncle comes over and asks for a drink. My cousin's mom kicked him out for being so paranoid about Y2K.

Well now, in 2012, all that stuff is going to happen again. Everyone's going to get scared and prepare for the end of the world. All of this because the Mayan calendar is going to end. The calendar in my room ends on December 31, 2009. I don't really see the big deal.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to throw a huge party on that day. Or an orgy. Everyone who believes is going to hide in their basement, but I'm going to be partying. We should all throw a party on that day. When all the believers emerge from their basements and ask us what we were up to last night, we'll be able to say that we were partying; having the time of our lives.

Like my grandfather always said "When your time comes, you'll be there don't worry about it." So if 2012 of death is real. Then that's all I can say. If it's just the end of the calender the it most likely means that it's going to start a earth year. 2012 means something but I don't think end of time. That's my view on 2012.

No i personally don't think it is real at all. Besides even if it were true why worry yourself like crazy about it this early on? Say you think you can "survive" this 2012 doomsday crap and you spend 2 years preparing for it and nothing happens. You would feel pretty stupid huh? I would rather be unprepared than spend 2 years of planning for nothing. :P But that's just my opinion.
