i was in my sisters room 2 days ago. we were just messing around makeing comments at each other. i made a joke which made my sister punch me in the shoulder.i start telling her "what was that did you just tap me or something?"she said she dident hit me hard cuase she was afraid of dislocateing my shoulder.so i dared her to punch me as hard as she could. so we got up off the bed and she starerd to punch me for a minute or so. we stoped cuase her hand started to hurt. after that ive been asking myself are women REALY that weak?if i wanted to kidnap or steal my sisters purse or something her weak ass attacks would never stop me.before that moment i thought women stood a good chance at defending themselfs. so heren lies the question are women realy weak or is it just my sister? or mabye its me? im 5 foot 10, 200 or so ibs i could propibly knock down a well sized man with a well placed punch to the chest.

Men are generally stronger and can get more muscles both faster and easier than women. Doesn't mean anything on the individual level, though. There are plenty of women who could beat you shitless if they wanted to, so don't get too cocky.

I don't think woman are weak in general.
But man are more obsessed with physical strengh, just because it is expected for man to be powerful and stronger than women.
But also remember, if a woman begs u for carrying some heavy stuff, it doesn't mean, that she can't do it by herself. Most times, she just doesn't want to. If u ever laid a hand on a womans bag/suitcase, u would know that they lift those heavy bastards on a daily basis.
I also think u should make a difference between a slender, weight obsessed girl on a diet and a full grown woman mother of children.
Young girls tend to eat so litte, even myself would starve to death twice and i consider myself as skinny-strong. Low energy input, low power.

It's to my understanding that Females are biologically 'softer'. However this seems kind of a convoluted discussion to have -- For instance, it's unlikely she was legitimately using all her strength on you, with you being her brother and all. But for the sake of it... everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, it's far too broad a generalization to say that 'girls are weak'.

Depends on what kind of girl she is. My sister never exercises nor does any strenuous activities and could barely lift a gallon of milk. On the other hand, when I was in highschool, Many of my classmates either were cheerleaders or played basketball(best girls basket ball team in my state) and as a result had greater arm strength than me. It all depends on what kind of people they are. They can be anorexic and bulimic or simply not exercise. Those women have no physical strength. On the other hand you have women like this.

2. Pain tolerance: girls (but dependent on the nervous system at times)

4. Other stuff: hard to say

On a more personal note, I'm quite heavy. I'm 18 stone and I'm quite strong because I use my weight to my advantage. Because I've been heavy all my life, my thighs have been given a workout in that time and are pretty muscly. I find that some of our human strength comes from our overall weight.
I think it would be biased or sexist to say that "women are weak", but generally men are physically stronger due to having a larger muscle mass and I've heard that muscles are heavier than fat which makes sense. They can hold their own though, speaking from experience.

When it comes to tolerance, the only time women exceed those of men are when they are giving birth. Any other time, their pain tolerance is just as low.

The way you are raised forms your habits and as such, many girls don't have a tendency to play sports or participate in strenuous activities. Here are 2 different possibilities. When I was in highschool, I played tennis on the varsity team, but I am ranked number 6. Even so, I played tennis much better than all of the girls on the varsity team, mostly because the girls on the team don't see tennis as a sport and thus don't practice or do fitness training. On the other hand, I played against a college girl in tennis and was completely dominated. Meh, bad layout -_-

Even with fitness training, in just strength men/guy could easily overpower a woman/girl. (though strength doesn't mean everything). Sports is also a bad case because skill is determined by speed, strength, and experience. In terms of genetics, men are meant to have the strength while women were (sorry to be sexist) the mothers and the house watchers.
Talking about psychological aspect, it is dependent on the person. Sex has no orientation on the psychological aspect because they can be affected in different ways. The family care also creates a difference. As for the cutthroat girl behavior, i would probably blame media.
Media fucks everything up. It tries to lay social norms to people who don't need them to make more money using fucking psychology.
