anyways, I honestly have to say I don't think god exists, but I mean it only in a physical way. I don't think there is a being watching over us from the heavens, checking our activity.
But I do think god exists "spiritually". In people's souls or hearts. I think that when people first made a religion or god, they were looking for somebody to follow, or believe in. A "spiritual leader", if I may. God, in that form, I believe still exists, even in the souls of non-believers.
Basically, god is "hope" that we all carry.
If God does not exist, as you say, how can one have a soul?
What is the need of a soul if it has nowhere to go at the end?
EDIT: Never mind >_>. I've got to re-read this stuff before posting....
I don't understand. You believe God does not exist physically, but that he exists spiritually? And even then you go on to say that man made God up. If that is so, then God "spiritually" does not exist either.
