Even though I voted yes, I am against it. I don't care if you smoke, but do me a favor and don't walk within my range of my sense of smell. I have sprayed people in the face with Axe before because they stank. If you are going to do pot, do it in your home.

I hate the smell of cigarettes and weed. It is part of the reason I hate it. My nose has the range of a Bloodhound when it comes to detecting these.

I understand that you dont like the smell. I dont like it when people smoke tobacco near me either. But I dont think you can call people rude or anything if they smoke weed near you even tho you dont like the smell IF you spray Axe to peoples FACES if they stink. Thats way more rude than smoking anything near other people imo. Because you have the option to a. ask for them to move away from you b. move away from them yourself.

Do I think it should be legal? No. It should be decriminalized though. If it were legal, then the gov't would have at least 80% of the rights to it; MEANING that the gov't would also control how much u buy and sell and control taxation on it. Now if it were only decriminalized, then the gov't can't penelize u for it and now taxation isn't in effect. So you could smoke/eat/sell, etc. as much as you please without worry of going to prison or rehab. If anything should be illegal, it should be alchohol. (Sorry to say)

I think marijuana really should be legal, particularly because it's not nearly as dangerous as some legal stuff we have out there (e.g.: cigarettes, alcohol, pop bands, etc.)

Pot is not the drug you are used to think it is, actually, it was a political campaign is US to gain votes from people that made them to think it was bad. They used to show people in bad conditions claiming it was a pot effect, but the truth is other. Scientific investigations show that pot is good (not like tobacco, THAT is a bad drug, worst than alcohol [but alcohol is good too, ^_^]).

Anyways, there is a drug web from South America to US, and is affecting the people of all the involving countries (except US, you can deduce why), and there is no government that cares about it. Is simple why, because no government can take profit from stoping it, actually, they want it to continue, because poverty, fear, and ignorance, are three things a government need in order to get money.

The one who lose if there in no drug trafic are the US people, why do you think they are the ones who prohibit it the most, is not for their government good will, is for their big greed (government, not all the people, of course).

So, if they truly wanted that trafic to stop, governments should legalize some drugs, a good thing for the flying comunity @_@ (Not the coca, making a drug from the Incan sacred plant is offensive and dusgusting)

Well this is how I see it. Marijuana should most definitely be legalized. A lot of people argue that it will be abused, and you know what? It probably will be. However, can you say it will be abused by the whole damn population? Alcohol is abused and it kills thousands of people each year. Tobacco kills millions of people each year, but it's legal. If one would look at the facts, it becomes quite apparent that marijuana is the least deadly out of these two things which are legal. So why shouldn't it be legal? Oh, and we're wasting a lot of money in trying to keep marijuana illegal and sending a lot of perfectly good people to jail for a plant. Really?

Well, i don't actually smoke, but i heard that in some country marijuana is legal, so i guess it is legal.......... In some countries, yeah

I had this same conservation with with a friend of mine and we finally decided that marijuana should be legalized, but that the government wouldn't do it since they wouldn't be able to control it all (aka tax it). You could grow it in your back yard and the government wouldn't get a dime xD

You need quite alot of equipment for the growing + some seeds, so they would get money from that at least. And I know that in many countries you can buy all the needed equipment from stores already (like here for example), but seeds would still be a new source of money. But still, if it was legal more people would grow it for themselves and more people would be buying all the stuff for growing, so more money.
And ofcourse the fact that they would SAVE money by throwing all the potheads out from prisons.

I know this is SD and I'm supposed to be polite and all that, but that thing above me is the dumbest shit I've read in a while. Pull that massive thing out of your ass and smoke some weed, doesn't seem like there's too much of mind degeneration to fear for you at the moment anyway.
