Clannad Full Voice

Well I stated it earlier but you won't be able to load any of the files but most of what you have unlocked will work. 74% of the images were there and 16 songs were missing from my full clear that I copied over. How much of that is new and how much of that was lost in the save - I don't know.

Uploaded the No-DVD patch to megaupload. I don't have a premium account so it may get taken down if not many people download it. Made a link to the torrent page with the torrent of that just in case it does. Is there anything else that I should change? Also, I've been trying everything I can think of to make the ordered list work but it just fails me so I just did it manually. If anyone knows how that works let me know.

It seems really nice and the higher res CG pics look good but as Kaimax said earlier did you ask permission to put those rapidshare links in this thread from the uploader? If not then you need to upload them yourself before putting them in here. It's sort of an unwritten rule of uploaders to not post links like that.

I didn't know that. I just searched filestube and thats what I got. I figured the only person who would take offense would be the game maker and according to filestube's DMCA policy, if they have an issue with it being on their site they will take it down. Can you explain why somebody would take offense to other people using their upload link? I can see it if you backed up your computer and didnt' want anyone to have access but obviously that link was put up there with the intent and purpose to be shared. Plus, it would take me like a week to upload it.

I think exalpha and girlcelly wouldn't mind if their links was shared. But the most important thing is think of the ethics. And like Animeholic said "upload them yourself before putting them in here. It's sort of an unwritten rule of uploaders to not post links like that."

It's all about keeping the ethics and trust of all uploaders. It's an unwritten rule that "Uploader" get their "name" from "uploading" the game themselves. ATM your thread is just a DDL Copy Paste.

I got to the installation part and its asking for some thing called reallive not sure if anyone is experiencing this problem?

Installation part... is that where you use the no-dvd patch? You have to put that patch file in the clannad folder and run it from there.



Thats certainly true. I don't really want to make a name of myself though. I just want to share and help people. I guess I'll put (not uploaded by me) next to the ddl link then.

Nevermind i got it to work i had .rar files all over the place i had to organize a bit but i got it to work perfectly fine, currently going through the prologue.

So if i get this right it's not your links but Girlcelly's that you just googled up?
I'll have to talk to him about this, if he wants to make a thread about this then he's entitled to, especially since the links are in fact his to begin with, and i'll merge this thread with his.

Actually, I have no idea whose DDL links those are. I just figured they are up there so why not use 'em. It doesn't say who the uploader is. And the torrent links are linked to the thread I made in the torrent section.

I believe thats a russian site so I'm not even sure if I can communicate with them. I did send the poster an email asking if it was okay though.
And the exalpha link on the filestube is a person called RonnieCorny saying: "not sure, but i found these and thought i would share it... not my files, i'm still downloading to verify..."

edit: Actually from the comments from the upload it seems its missing part 38 anyways... Guess I'll have to upload my version myself.

I must've gotten the wrong idea when i skimed through the posts in this thread, thought they were GC's, but the point still stand, don't use other uplaoders links if you ain't got their permission, we don't want Fakku to be known as link stealers.

Compressed the iso into a rar package (3 parts 1000MB each) and achieved 70% compression ratio. Currently uploading to Megaupload. Should have it up by morning.

edit: also combined all the translation files into a single rar file and uploaded it. Now all you have to do is extract them to the Clannad_FV folder and your done.

Hey nsl I think you should mention this in the OP.
I was having trouble extracting the 2 part rar file. Easy solution, just rename both files to something like CLANNAD.part1 and CLANNAD.part2

I'm gonna try installing it now.

edit: question. The G00 files, do I copy them (and overwrite) to the G00 folder in the directory of the game, or do I replace the G00 folder with the one in the directory of the game?

edit2: The correct thing to do here is copy the files inside the G00 folder in the Clannad_FV rar and paste(overwrite when asked) them on the G00 folder on the directory of the game.

Well I have no control over that torrent - It's not mine. The MU DDL will have easier names. And when you extract the translation files like I said in the instructions, it shouldn't mess with any of the files already there - it'll just overwrite any existing files and add what isn't which is what we want it to do. I changed the name of the translation files' rar so its not the same as the MU DDL name also.

Also, first 2 parts of the MU DDL have been uploaded. Final part should be up in a couple hours.

As stated before, the DDL was actually originally posted on some russian site and some random dude named RonnieCorny put that on a message board on exalpha. Anyways what he put up wasn't complete and was missing part 38 anyways. I just uploaded my working .iso myself so now all of the links are my own links now. Are there any other problems with what I have up there?

What's a good font for the game?

I'm using Segoe UI atm. Its what my Vista Theme on my XP is using.

Also, I've found out that when you click those different-colored words that the game freezes. I'm gonna research why its happening and do some testing. Refer to the first random animesuki image on the front page to see what I mean.

Edit: Actually the game doesn't freeze. Its just waiting for you to click that off-color word again. Does the popup show for anyone?

Edit again: Fixed it! apparently I was missing some files necessary in order for it to work. I've re-uploaded them in the translation files.

Ok, how do I know that I installed that game with Fullvoice instead of...well, "not" having full voice version like offered in the other clannad release here?

First I installed "clannad" itself. Then installed "clannad FV", then copied
the "Voice and Translation pack" (cannot find a "Clannad Translation Files.rar") over to "clannad FV". Is that it?
Do I even need to have the original clannad installed if never even used?
