NEW: Support this project on Kickstarter (will be translated and made available on steam) -This game is translated- This is an updated version of the original 2004 game (this came out in 2008) which adds official Vista support, voices, higher resolution (From 640x480 to 800x600), and a few new CGs. This has been translated just like the original version and even the menus and graphics have been translated. Also included are translation notes within the game (see anpan screenshot below). It also has the ability to allow you to choose any font you have installed on your system (I suggest Segoe UI). The translation of this is an updated version done by the same people for the original version of the game. This game works with any Windows NT Operating System (2000, XP, Vista, 7, etc.) Description: Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and gambling. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction. Screenshots:Spoiler: Download Folder : Mega Password: fakku You will also need these if you don't already have them installed: Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Microsoft DirectX Or you can use this torrent which includes everything Installation: 1.) Download all the files in the folder or use the torrent. If you used the torrent it includes an installer which you run and it does everything for you and you are done. If you want to use the latest translation with the torrent proceed to step 4. Those of you who used the direct download read on. 2.) Open the .7z.001 file using 7zip. When asked for a password use the word "fakku" without quotes. Extract the .ISO file anywhere you want. 3.) Mount the .ISO (or .bin if you used torrent) with Daemon Tools Lite or any other virtual drive software and install using the autorun_rlsmm.exe. (bottom left button is OK, bottom right is cancel.) 4.) Download and extract the contents of the Translation Files to the Clannad_FV folder in its default location of C:\Key or where you specified to install it and then overwrite any files that it asks. 5.) Enjoy. Install size: 4 Gigs. FAQ: Q: Is this an H-game? A: No. The only H Clannad that I know of is Tomoyo After. Q: Will my save data from the older game work with this one? A: Not really. It will save most of the images and about the same amount of songs but in order to get the lost music and images back your going to have to replay the entire game. Q: Will these translation files work with the older 2004 version? A: Nope! But if you go to Doki's site you can find them there. Q: I don't see the translator notes like in the 3rd screenshot! A: The torrent has a slightly different version of translator notes. If you used the DDL and can't see them make sure you have Visual C++ installed. Also you have to click the word for them to pop up. Q: Walkthrough? A: For a quick one try this. There is also a "300 hour" guide which will get absolutely everything. Available here. The translation files included are Doki's 20120607 with a no-dvd cracked .exe added. You may PM me or reply to this thread if you have any problems or questions. First off that is your downloads folder.
If you installed it and didn't change any settings it should be installed to C:\Key\Clannad_FV
Thats where you need to put the translation files.

Starting from scratch, I don't replace the G00 folder right?

In your pic you have the folder clannad translation files.
Open that and select all and right-click them and select cut
Go back to the Clannad_FV folder and click paste. It will ask you to overwrite some files and say yes.
It should then look like my pic minus the backup folder that I have.

Well that's funny, I tried that earlier and just had a load of problems but this time everything is fine. Well it appears that I'm finally all set, sorry if I was a pain in the ass.

i downloaded the clannad without voice then i wanna download

the voice patch.... is there any mediafire DL links
because the megadownload is not compatible w/ my download manager

Mine has voice built in and doesn't require a patch. All mine needs is 10 megs of translation files for all the text.

(I'm guessing you didn't check voices or something? xD) If that is the case though, I could amend the instructions to tell people to look for that and check it in case they are just spamming the next button during installation. Just let me know what you did.

Having that same problem here, but i Didn\t solve it by myself, and the installer is japanese too, so we dont basically know how to check this "check voices or something".
Where to press and what if i reinstall?

I'm assuming you can get to this part no problem.

Top button is the install path, button under that is Features dialog button.
Once you click that button it should look like this:

Top radial button is minimum install, which is pretty much text-only
clicking the 2nd radial gets extra features:
1st checkbox is music
2nd checkbox is voices
3rd checkbox is effects
It should be that way by default and you should have no need of even doing this step which is why I didn't include this step in the installation instructions.
After you do that it'll pop up the directx dialog which you should cancel out of.

Also, notice how the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons switch around? If you can't read either of them just assume the bottom left button is the 'OK' button and the bottom right is 'Cancel'. For some reason the Features dialog is backwards.

Hope that solves it.

And to Skoodlez: I don't possess that version on my hard drive. Just try using a search engine or try to search for a torrent of it. Of course you could just use the torrent to get this version and I'll upload the translation files to Mediafire.

Also, on top of adding a Mediafire link for the translation files, I fixed a problem with the Reallive.exe. If any of you who downloaded this within the past week or so had a problem at startup, try redownloading the translation files again and see if that fixes it. (surprised I caught it before anyone else did)

Reinstalled using settings you suggested, and copied the new translation files, but i still get this same "error".

It seems the reallive.exe problem is hit or miss with some people. The one in the Translation Files is the one I use personally without a problem. I even did a file hash to recheck.

Also I have a question, before the \n\n problem were you able to play the game?

Hmmm interesting. I'll do more searching for another Reallive and let you try it out. But honestly all I did was apply a no-dvd patch to it and distributed it. Maybe I should just throw the no-dvd patch in there instead of the Reallive.exe and let you guys patch it yourself?
And Unos, Not all of those screens are translated yet but I do know that they translated Misae-san's screens.

Spoiler:

The first window appears twice immediatley on start up of the game.
Afterwards it fades into a white screen, the second window appears shortly after that.
After clicking ok to the final window the opening BG music plays and the white screen never changes.
So far I think ive tried just about everything suggested(asain languages, NTLEA, Japanese font, multiple reallive.exe's, etc.)
...any ideas?

I'm just guessing by the resolution but I think you downloaded the older version and used the translation files from this version to it. It won't work that way. Try animeholic's thread for a translation: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=19473
Your pic looks like its in 640x480. This version is 800x600. This version goes by the name "Clannad Full Voice" in case your thinking this is Clannad with full voices or something.

im using ur translations with ur FV version. although i do have the older version, i tried deleting it and then re-running and replaced the reallive.exe again after that failed, still not working, same errors are being given.
