Clannad Full Voice

Can't do that, need the slightly higher resolution and ALL the voices. I've played it before so it's not like this is my first time downloading it :)

But,maybe there are some missing parts in the voices .
Also,about the resolution,they told that it's the maximum res.
I don't think that you could make higher res.

Well I meant the higher res being 800x600 instead of 600x480 (from what I understand). And from what I understand also, Clannad FV doesn't require a voice patch because the voices are on the installation CD.

Upon starting up the game I get a pop up that says Full voice. I click ok, but it wont go away and the game wont start.

Sorry for the late reply, was on vacation and just recently got back. But it sounds like you solved your problem, Nikon. (I'm guessing you didn't check voices or something? xD) If that is the case though, I could amend the instructions to tell people to look for that and check it in case they are just spamming the next button during installation. Just let me know what you did.

Also, THERE IS NO VOICE PATCH!!!!! This version doesn't require one - it's built in!

And to CC, the only things I can suggest for you to do is what I wrote down in the FAQ section and if that doesn't help then PM me and I'll help the best I can.

Finally, I've also included a link to NTLEA on the front page in case you need to use it.

...maybe the file that was being extracted is larger than 4gb? the drive you are extracting to is in FAT, and FAT has a file size limit of 4gb. format to ntsf?

The translation files link doesn't seem to be working, Firefox tells me it can't find the server at www50.megaupload.com.

EDIT: Never mind, apparently MegaUpload's file servers were down earlier. I got them now.

EDIT2: Is there a chance that the music/CG menus will get translated? I really wanna know what the names of the songs and buttons are (just curious).

I doubt it unless there is a strong push for it. If your wanting to know the names of the songs in english you can find them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Clannad_soundtracks Look down for the Clannad Original Soundtrack and I'm pretty sure its in the same order as the VN. You can also purchase it or torrent/download it from the usual locations.

Ugh I just know I'm going to be a bother, but I can't seem to get the game to install. It seems fine but at the end of the installation I get error messages like this

That should update your DirectX to the latest. Let me know how it turns out.

err actually... this is the directx setup

first one says: "proceeding with directx setup"

second one summarised: this products needs directx5 and above. if you have directx5 and above, there is no need to continue with the directx installation

Well, if chaosbreak is correct you should be able to just click cancel for both of those and be fine. Also, If you are at that point I believe it is already installed. Check C:\Key or wherever you installed and if there is over 3 gigs of files in there you should be good to continue to the next step. I'll amend the installation instructions to tell people to click cancel when you see DirectX dialog boxes.

Well the game seems to run fine, not that I've really tried playing it much besides a quick test. Only problem is that all the menus are still in Japanese

I realized I messed up the rar file by having a folder in it at the beginning, thus messing up the instructions. It was fine before but I updated it a while ago and messed it up on accident. I'm uploading a fixed file now (it'll be zip format). But if you still have that file downloaded, inside the rar file will be a clannad translation files folder. open that up and highlight all of what you see there (7 files and 1 folder) and click copy. Then open the Clannad_FV folder and click paste. It should ask to overwrite files and click ok. Should be good then. If it doesn't ask you to overwrite files then you did something wrong.

It needs to look like this when its done (You wont have a backups folder, I did that. Also I deviated and put my install in the Program Files folder, don't worry if yours is just in C:\Key, it will work fine.):
