He's got some good DmC insights.
BTW the new Dante is half devil/angel/human. He has these stance forms where devil/angel can make him fly and rip off the environment around him and morphs his 3 weapons.
Did you know that's too similar to Heavenly Sword and Enslaved gameplay? It's copy paste game engine from NT and giving DMC moveset. Plus it will run at 30fps which is a downgrade on 60fps, one reason now he has executions, saw the close up kick slow down like in Batman Arkham Asylum? That's limitation of that and seems he cannot change "stance forms" like in Devil May Cry 4 while attacking, which is similar to GOW weapon changing.
So, basically, this is likely to be an ok game, but not up to par with the original DMCs.
Speaking to the U.S. PlayStation Blog, creative director Tameen Antoniades revealed that DmC’s Dante grew up on the streets, and as such is a little more brash than his previous incarnation.
“Growing up in a situation where the demons are out to kill him; society in general, controlled by the demons, is out to crush him; growing up on the streets… So, he’s more of a street brawler,” he explained.
“His moves are less refined than you would have seen in previous DMCs.”
This is the why he moves slower, but in truth it's the 30fps of Unreal Engine which makes him move slower, besides that the air combo will be more focused with ground executions as seen in the trailer.

Also this DmC is not canon.

After seeing the interview, and deducing that Tobias doesn't seem to be an idiot nor that much of a hypochrite as some other game producers, as well as having the fact that this game is not canon to the main storyline confirmed, I have to take back what I've said about the game not living up to it's predecessors.
Since the game is confirmed to be the story of a
different incarnation of Dante, from
another universe/reality, thus ruling out lore inconsistencies, seeing as how, story-wise, DmC is unrelated to previous DMCs, I no longer have any logical reason to say that the game doesn't have the potential to be just as good as the originals, or even surpass them, in certain aspects (though the latter seems unlikely), until the release of the game, and after having seen how good, mediocre or bad they've managed to execute the formula.
Furthermore, I hope they release this for the PC, as well.
