Problem is, there is no .iso file. And also, the english patch requires the game to be installed right? When i press the Install button on the Muv luv alt launcher, a message with the name of rUGP that is full of japanese letters pops up, the only option is this window was an "ok" button that closed the window.
The ".iso" file is the file that you mounted (it might have another extension but what I meant was that you should mount the ".iso" file just fine).
About the english patch as I said previously, detects if you already have the game installed or not and if not it will require the game disc to install it. The patch readme is explicit:
The installation process is fairly simple. You have the choice to install from the CDs if the game is not detected on your system, or you can patch over an existing install.
About that error, try running the setup as admin. If that doesn't work, post a print and say specifically all the steps that you took.

Also, sorry if i may sound stupid, but what i want to install is the game that i downloaded in 7 parts, i sadly dont have the CD to that game. Im getting more and more confused here :/. The english patch ("mla-r2.exe") as I said previously, detects if you already have the game installed or not and if not, it will require the game disc to install it (the game). For that, just leave the MuvLuv Alternative image monted and run the patch. Try installing that way since you come across that error message. For now, forget anything else.

Dunno? in my case I never get to install the game through the patch, somehow I always get an rUGP error during the installation process. Then I try installing the game first but the patch could not detect the installed game. It took me more than a month to figure out that running the "NO DVD patch" right before installing the patch solves all the problem. I think it's partly because of the specifics that the way my laptop is build. That's why I never find similar problems to mine on several forums that I've come across. That whole month made me nuts, I first get the game through torrent, then the mediafire pack. both didn't have any NO DVD patch in it, the megauploads DL pack does though and only then was I able to play.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. The reason for my previous post is because your post wasn't appearing on the thread due to a site glitch. My post made yours appear. We usually call it "Anti bug post" or something like that.
About what you were talking, in this particular case it doesn't seem like there's a need to a "No DVD Patch" since Iron Saint can't even install the game. There's always a method to install a certain game independently of the way the computer was built (to play is another thing because each game have their own system requirements).

If you mean that you can't download it, that's a different problem. Mainly on your internet connection or medifire's server.

I am having the same issue, and so is my friend, on exactly part 3, 7, 12, 14, and 21. DL mediafire version at own risk! He lives in Canada so he wasted a fair amount of bandwidth.

Have attempted the repairs of those specific parts with no change. I'll try the MU links and update unless someone does before I do.

yeah i am trying to download MU link now. make takes sometimes , if any others finish first please tell me. anyway dont try the torrent with [060224] its broken , i finish the download and cannot play because rUGP said data not completed.

Which file are you running? The "rugp.exe" or the one on the bottom of your first pic?

Aww, I cant find a way to install this game no matter what method I use! As I said earlier, when i mount the game, a launcher appears right? But when i press the "install" button, a new window named rUGP(which is the games engine, right?) appears, there is a yellow triangle with the ! in it and some japanese text, the only option i have is to cancel or "ok" whatever stood there. the same happends if i just try to launch the patch with the game mounted. And for some reason, my pc just doesn't want to take any pictures anymore, dang!

Just for the record, this is the error I'm getting. You can obviously see that I'm in JP locale.
I believe I had the same problem posted in a earlier post about I also have avg what I did since I couldn't disable it I uninstalled it and reinstalled after I installed muv-luv(not entirely sure been a long time)
Hi, I'm having the exact error quoted and pictured above. I have Sengoku Rance, Big Bang Age, Utawaremono, Tears to Tiara, etc. installed with no errors and Japanese locale and fonts. I have Sophos as opposed to AVG though.
I have tried installing it in different areas as one person recommended on page 2 or 3, and tried remounting it, etc. about 15 or 20 times with no luck at all. A 48kb rugp.exe is made in a japanese titled folder where I direct the install, which does nothing.
I will keep reading my way through the entire topic looking for help, but I'm 7 or so pages in with no luck so I figured it was worth posting. One person recommended making a virtual machine without spyware and installing it there, but I don't have my Windows CD anymore (or enough knowledge to do anything but follow a simply walkthrough).
If anyone has any tips for me I'd really appreciate it!
