a because melinda knew her name even though she has another name in her id
Yep, that's absolutely correct. And now, shit hits the fan.

"...You said you knew my name is Celine because my I.D. says so, but, it actually only says Celony, my real name. Celine's just my nickname. And if you moved here only a day ago, there's no way you could know that. So who are you, Melinda?"
My eyes are still focused on the glass of iced tea sitting on the table, but I dare to take a quick glance at Melinda's face, and she's smirking.
"...Haha, was it fun, Celine?"
My blood turns ice-cold.
"...Who are you?"
Still wearing her smirk, she shakes her head derisively.
"I come back after all these years..."
"Who are you?"
"I don't know what's going on, Celine, but I intend to find out."
Suddenly, I lose feeling in my lips.
"..."
"The drug should be taking effect now. I'm just going to tell everyone in the restaurant that my dear friend collapsed from fatigue and that I need to take her home."
My upper body falls onto the table, and my eyes start to close.
"Goodnight, Celine."

I need something to steady my nerves. I open a can of cold fruit juice and drink half of it in one sitting. It refreshes my mouth and throat and it chills my body and nerves. I set it aside on the table and go to the sink. I take out the necessary chemical and mix it with some tap water before washing my face with it. The fake skin feels like slime as it melts off, leaving my normal, natural face. I look in the mirror and remark that I didn't have to change much to look unrecognizable. Did Celine really not know who I am? Or maybe Celine just completely forgot who I was. Impossible.
I sigh, and stare at the bottom of the sink, contemplating what I should or might have to do next. I dry my face off and then head to the other room. She's tied up to a chair and still unconcious. Her sleeping face hasn't changed at all, and I can't help but smile while looking at it. I gently nudge her shoulder while saying,
"Hey, wake up, Celine."
"...Nnnghhh..."
"Yea, that's right, come back to the land of the waking, Celine."
She tries to stretch and move around, but opens her eyes and realizes she's bound to the chair.
"Untie me!"
"..."
I say nothing while she continues to glare at me, before realization slowly begins to dawn on her face.
"Your...your face...why..."
"It was a mask."
"Why?!"
"I didn't really need it, I could've just used some makeup. But you, on the other hand wouldn't have been fooled."
"Why does your face..."
"I'm surprised you didn't notice it sooner. I didn't even use that much. It's like you've completely forgotten about me."
"Look exactly like mine...?!"
"That's because we're twin sisters."
A visible crack appears on her face.
"What are you saying...?"
"Is this because of the promise we made? Is this what you've decided to do so you could be 'Celine'?"
"What are you saying...? I am Celine..."
...What could have happened after I left? Should I let her keep this game up? Or should I snap her out of it?
A) Play along.
B) Snap her bubble.
