The others wondered if Ine knew something beforehand, especially Aoi, but no one voiced their thoughts, “If you want to see Reo in flesh, or want to visit Ichigo, you could join us,” Aoi offered, “Kouzuki-san will take care of the preparations swiftly!” she added with a grin.
”. . .” Ing face-palmed. He again took out his tool box and added another person on the list.
“I-Is it really okay for me to come along? I mean, I want to meet Ichigo-san, but I don’t want to be a burden to you all… ” Ine honestly expressed the feelings that welled up in her heart. She desperately wished to go, but was hesitating; feeling that she’d be unsuccessful alone. Yet she couldn’t let go of the feeling of wanting to at least see her. The anxiety was too strong in her.
“Just one more wouldn’t hurt,” Amelia plainly stated.
“If you’re a fan of Ichigo-chan, you should grab the opportunity,” as an enthusiast of the idol - Ichigo, Shiraishi said, but she still felt shy about being friendly with these type of people, but tried to fit in with them.
Ine made a pout again as soon as Shiraishi spoke up, but the fact that even that person cared in such a way about Ichigo made her felt touched, “Okay,” she answered, “I’ll go with you all, too. Please take care of me,” Ine said, giving a small courteous bow, “But wait… Reo? The senpai who graduated?” Ine questioned, not particularly surprised.
Shouta counted up the number of people coming along to the hospital. Including himself, he counted the nine heads. Jeez. This group’s getting big. How are we all gonna sneak in like this?
Ine was then explained about the rumor involving Reo by Amelia, she only responded with an “I see,” perhaps she was a fan, or maybe not, but right now she only cared for Ichigo’s condition.

Recess, a period in which the students are allowed to have lunch - begun as soon as the bell chimed - the students all started their pointless, time-killing chatter again. The group that planned to infiltrate the hospital planned to first have lunch properly. Treading the cold and harsh path with an empty stomach would lead them straight to their peril. The group walked out of the class and made way for the cafeteria.
Amelia and Ing got the largest portion of food, making others’ faces green with envy. Shouta and Shiraishi didn’t speak, instead leered at Amelia’s plates - who in turn made an evil grin - showing the difference in rank. While Aoi was content with her own portion and ate quietly - her food was of equal portion in comparison to Ine - same with the other Aoi, as well as Sakura. Ing nonchalantly dipped his fork and spoon into his food, ignoring the wild gaze from the jealous Ine, yet looking back and forth between Maya and his plate. He noticed that Maya was definitely giving a wild stare towards his food, but tried to ignore and wanted her to enjoy her own food. Ing considered sharing, but Maya averted her eyes before he spoke and started eating her food rapidly.
Sono was doing his best to keep his nose out of their foolishness, but he had to admit, it was interesting to see them all pulling together for a common goal. Even Amelia seemed to be having fun conspiring with the group. Eating his lunch not too far from the group he couldn’t help but notice they were eating extremely fast.
Finishing their meals in around five minutes, each and every one of them nodded to each other before moving out to carry their grand plan. As they got up Sono waited a second before pursuing them.
“First is… the equipment, yes?”
Ing nodded, “Yeah. I’ll explain in detail once you receive the items.”
Students crowded the tall black iron gates of the academy. It was still the period of recess in progress. Most students would usually be inside the academy’s cafeteria to eat. However, today was a special exception.
Since Mouri Reo was coming into the academy for an important check-up - which is a requirement if an outsider were to enter the academy for the festival. The famous superstar from Hollywood, a singer who can get a fan when one hears one of his song for the first time - a product of his Voice Pheromone Alice.
The tall long gates were pulled back; opened, generating loud metallic noises as it allowed passage into the academy without the physical aid of the guards.
A long black shiny limousine drove past the entrance. The students all cheered, roared, and called out his name, “Reo, Reo!!”
Both boys and girls, captivated by his charm and angelic voice, were won over a long time ago. They were already diehard fans.
The window lowered slowly, revealing Reo’s handsome facial features, he took out his hands, so as to touch the students’ hands as the car passed by them
“It’s tough having so many fans.”
“I think it’s a great thing,” a man with short blond hair said, sitting opposite to Reo, but Reo casually ignored him, thinking that he simply cannot understand what it means to have countless fans.

Seeing the group of trouble-makers head together to the cafeteria, Mio left the classroom and took her own special shortcut to ensure she’d arrive before the others. From what she had heard, the group had planned to eat quickly and then execute their plan, however if Mio were to simply follow after them, she would have even less time to eat. Pushing open another window, Mio jumped into the cafeteria, grabbed her Double Star platter and sat down at a table that had a good view of the room.
After a minute or two of nervous waiting, the faces of her classmates finally entered through the door. Mio stuffed her mouth as fast as she could while she watched their table for any movements. At one point during this time, the girl almost forgot to chew before she swallowed, resulting in a slight coughing fit as she choked on her food. Thankfully she had a glass of water at hand and managed to finish her food before the others.
Mio’s own embarrassing moment aside, she watched them nod their head in unison making faces as if they were about to embark on a life and death journey, Mio couldn’t help but laugh internally. Gosh I really don’t think they know how stealth missions work. From the eyes of a keen observer, it was easy to see that they were up to something. There was no time to dwell on that fact though, as the group quickly stood up and made their way out of the cafeteria. This time there would be no shortcuts for Mio. She didn’t know where they would break in the hospital from and thus losing sight of them was not an option to take. Getting up from her own seat, Mio set off after the others.

Cards and Hugs abound

The whole group lay behind a short wall of bushes, the hospital was right before them past the bushes. It took some time to walk all the way here, as the hospital was around the dorms of the Elementary School Division. All whispered to each other whenever someone talked. Everyone could see the hospital staff - men - walking around to make sure no one sneaks in. They all received equipments that were given out by Kouzuki Ing, this was Hyuuga Aoi’s idea who trusted Ing to have the necessary items required for such an attempt. Ing would now explain what he gave to everyone, and how to use his precious inventions.
“First of all, wear that earpiece that looks like a snake on your ear. I’ll show you how.” Ing took the snake-like earpiece, and rolled it on his left ear, the snake adjusted it’s shape to Ing’s ear. The head of the snake stopped right in front of his ear hole. “This snake earring helps us communicate with each other by the faintest whisper, the whispers are transferred directly from your mouth to others that are using it. Of course, you have to press on the snake’s head to first activate it.”
“Next, this badge.” Ing took a ghost-shaped badge from inside his pocket. “If you put this on your clothes, like so,” Ing pinned the badge on his shirt, his body suddenly became semi-transparent. He continued, ”As you can see, your body will become semi-transparent. to turn this off, press the badge twice quickly and to turn it back on, press it once.”
“On to the next item!” Ing enthusiastically said as he took out a large pair of shoes shaped like a rabbit’s feet. He put on the shoes like he would wear any normal shoes, and tied up the laces. the shoes’ size shrink into a perfect fit for him. “These shoes are only for you to use, Fushiki-kun. More like, it’s perfect for people like you. It can absorb any fall-down damage. You will feel like landing on a bed. Also another feature, you can jump very high with these on your feet, you first jump normally, but when you land on a solid surface after you do so, you can use any momentum you get to jump again, which will activate the effect, and thus you can jump up very high. The only downside is that you need to charge it up first. It needs a lot of electricity for the jumps - simple AAA batteries won’t do - so I’ll give you the charger for the shoes including five pair of fully charged cartridges for it. To change the batteries, press your thumbs, the cartridges will pop out from the back and it will stay open until you put in new ones. DO NOT LOSE THE CARTRIDGES!” Ing exclaimed with a soft voice.
“U-u-u-uh, y-yeah!” Shouta whispered back in surprise. He was still trying to absorb the information about the last two items. What do I need those for, though, anyways? Do I have a special role?
“Since your item is special,” He said as he removed the rabbit shoes and gave it to Fushiki, he continued ”It will be 100 Rabbits, pay me up once you have the money,” Ing said with his evil grin.
I’m only a single-star, so I believe I only get 30 rabbits a month. Shouta had a pained expression when he heard the amount he needed to pay. I guess I can’t buy anything for a while…. He accepted the shoes with a cringe. “I’ll put them to good use,” he spoke in a somewhat depressed tone.
”Hahaha, oh fine, since you’re that type of person, I’ll give you a discount, 30 Rabbits, you can pay me up 15 rabbits each month. I don’t want to torture my own classmate for not eating.” He said with the same grin as before.
That’s tolerable, actually. I can easily pay that! Shouta’s expression lifted. “Are you sure you’ll let me use these for that little, though? These seem pretty well-built…” He inquired, while inspecting the shoes.
”Just don’t go hopping away,” Sakura said as she chuckled a bit. Sakura was however, quite impressed with the equipments. So much that felt skeptical regarding whether she should even believe Ing. Their effects sounded too good to be true.
“He is a coward, he might just do that,” Shiraishi shrugged, remembering how he hid in the class without having the courage to face his pursuer directly.
“Hey, that was different… I felt like someone was stalking me, and I had to get away!” Shouta said to defend himself, as he strapped on the shoes Ing gave him. “Man, these look weird, though…” He murmured as he stared at the shape of the shoe on his foot. Did it really need to be shaped like a rabbit’s foot?
“Damn! Those are girly!” Instead of being disgusted by the frilly items like a true delinquent, Shiraishi seemed to be jealous that Shouta of all people got something like these.
“I never make half-baked items and I’m pretty sure that you’ll use it sometime later,” Ing said confidently.
“You sure you should be charging so little?” Maya said. “Why not just have him pay whatever rabbits he receives as allowance from the school?”
”Nah, I’m not †˜that’ evil when it comes for my classmates. I charge high to the adults and companies that has a lot of money, and I mean a lot,” Ing said.
“Wait a second, this guy still owes me at least half of his money for all the trouble he caused me!” Shiraishi butted in with an angry face, not forgetting what happened yesterday, it was embarrassing, and she was scared of what he might have done to her if she stayed with him any longer. She wasn’t too mad about it currently, but that didn’t mean that she’d let him go, either. He did boldly declare that he’d let her †˜chew him out’.
Shouta blushed slightly, recalling the †˜trouble’ that lead to him being stuck together with Shiraishi, hiding underneath the teacher’s desk in a classroom. “Y-yeah, r-right… There was that, too…” He looked down to avoid eye contact with everyone as he said that.
Amelia asked, ignoring the unimportant business talk, instead serving her curiosity. “Interesting equipment. How does the Ghost Badge work, though? Does it create optical illusion via refraction of sunlight or something? If so, it probably has a limit, for which we only become semi-transparent due to it’s effects.”
”Exactly, but this one doesn’t have any limits, I intend it to be semi-transparent because that lasts longer. Making a fully fledged invisibility item eats a lot of power and resources. Besides, we can use this for scaring people in the middle of the night or day. Imagine their scared faces seeing a semi-transparent person walking around in the school or the dorms.” Ing gave a scary grin.
“Now that you mention it… ” a playfully mischievous smirk rose up on Amelia’s face. “We can even manipulate the ghost rumors with this, this is ingenious!”
“Any optical illusion seems amazing, in my opinion. This significantly boosts our chances, and even get away with it, unless they have security cameras everywhere,” Aoi added her thought, also interested in how the device functions.
“I think the effects of the Badge is to make us caution-free of the cameras, though,” Hyuuga said, considering otherwise.
”I don’t really get it” said Ine, scratching her head, ”but if it helps, it helps” she grinned.
“I have no idea what refraction is, but this sounds awesome, I never bought such items due to not having much money due to punishments, so I’m pretty happy,” Shiraishi said, with a rare smile. Perhaps was she finally starting to know that money is used for more than just food.
Eavesdropping behind the trunk of a nearby tree, Mio felt intensely envious of the people who were given gadgets. I could be as cool as Batman if I had those…

Amelia sighed, then begun with a serious expression, she’ll give it her best shot despite this being a criminal job - she was used to such covert activities as a Dangerous Abilities class member anyway. “Alright, here’s the plan. First, we split up.”
Aoi gave her input. “Yeah, otherwise we’d easily be caught, despite the Badge. We should probably either make two teams one having four and the other, five of us. Or, three trios.”
Cold sweat rolled down the back of Mio’s neck as she realized what splitting up meant for her. A group could split up easily, but it was simply impossible for Mio to split herself into 2 or even 3. What do I do? Who will I follow? The last thing she wanted to happen was to follow the wrong group and be unable to help again.
“The smaller the better, but there aren’t many places for us to go in this case. Some of us wants to meet Hoshimiya-san, and the rest of us - Reo-san. I believe the former is a favorable idea,” Hyuuga said in response to the plan of splitting up.
Amelia nodded. “Then the solution is obvious.”
“Whoever wants to go see Ichigo, raise your hand lightly,” Aoi said as she raised her hand, it reached as much as up to her eyes as she openly declared her want to visit her dear friend.
“I’m definitely going to meet Hoshimiya-san!” Shiraishi said, raising her hand immediately after Aoi.

“I really need to make sure Ichigo-san is okay” Ine chimed in, worriedly. ”I’m definitely coming” her fist hit the air above her.
“I sorta wanted to go check up on her, too. I suppose the rest of us are gonna approach Reo for a visit, though. Thus, I’ll let you guys do the Ichigo-check instead. Might as well see the superstar in flesh, eh?”
Maybe I should’ve stayed behind, Sakura thought I just wanted to help Kiriya-san, but in this case, it seems better if the group stayed as small as possible. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if I got to meet Reo-san today. His music was really good whenever I got a chance to listen to it, and I can laugh at the old bullies who were his fans for getting to meet him before them, Sakura thought, giggling to herself internally - not noticing that she may have became a fan from listening to his music. She then looked to where the other group was at. “Good luck, you guys.”
Mio calmed herself and reviewed the information she had just heard. Using the fingers on her left hand, she listed the group of people who wanted to go check up on Ichigo. On her right hand, she listed the ones after Reo. In Reo’s group, Class Rep, Hyuuga-san and Kouzuki-san probably won’t need any help, whereas in Hoshimiya-san’s group, only Shiraishi-san can properly use her Alice… That makes it simple then! Hoshimiya-san’s group will definitely need my help! With her decision set, Mio waited for her cue to follow.

“Wait just a second!” Aoi called out, pulling Shouta back in; forcibly brought him to cessation, as a member of the hospital staff passed by, “We still have to relocate to the side where we can enter from! ...Or so Amelia-san said.”
“Right, you’d have to go far more to the right… ” Amelia pointed. “There are two entrances, one on the back and the other is obviously the front. We’ll use the front one when the coast is clear for even a small moment. It should be okay with the Ghost Badge. We’re just going to look at a superstar, so we don’t need the more safer route. You guys who are sincerely worried about Hoshimiya-san should take the back-door and go from there. But the problem is… do you guys know where her room is? So far, only Hyuuga-san and I know, I believe… ”
“Uhhh…” Shouta paused. He didn’t actually know the location of her room. He’s never needed to be in the hospital, so far. He realized that he has never actually seen the inside of it, in fact. “Did you happen to know, Kiriya-san?” he turned to her and asked.

Amelia added. “Correct, once you reach the second floor via the stairs, you turn to the right and head for the second-last room before the dead-end.”
Aoi nodded. “Gotcha. That should be easy to remember, the problem is getting to the staircase from the back-door, I guess.”
Shouta listened carefully and made a mental note of the direction: “Second floor… turn right… second-to-last room…” he mumbled, double-checking that he heard Amelia’s words correctly. “Okay, I think I got it.”
“In the †˜dead-end’ there is a window, so if you feel the need to escape, you may just jump and break past them!” Hyuuga said excitedly.
“B-But this isn’t a movie… ” Aoi said with a forced smile.
Shouta looked at where the windows were positioned on the second floor. “That’s so dangerous…” He commented softly. He examined the ground below the window, as well. There’s nothing safe to land on either… It’s too far down, and too hard a surface to land on…
“Well, in case of emergencies. Fushiki-san’s cute girly boots can absorb any fall damage. So, he’ll have to take care of us delicate girls under his arms when that happens!” Aoi chuckled as she spoke jokingly.
“H-hey… It’s not like I’m wearing these because I want to. Kouzuki-san gave me these shoes to make this mission easier… somehow.” Now that Shouta thought about it, he became curious about something. He asked Ing, “Wait, Kouzuki-san, why would I need the jumping ability these provide…? These don’t seem very practical inside a building.”
“Oh believe me, it will be useful even inside a building, especially this building.” Ing said confidently.
“Ehhhh…” Shouta looked at Ing with a confused expression. “Well, okay… If you say so…”
“I doubt these guys will escape when they’re that close to Hoshimiya-san’s room, though.”
Sono stood across the street behind the cover of a bus stop. He couldn’t hear or see very well what they were doing, but he could at least see when they headed inside the hospital. They were amusing to watch at the moment as they made their grand plans. [/b]†˜Let’s hope you don’t get caught too early’[/b] thought Sono as he flipped open and closed the lighter he bought a few days prior.
“Alright, let’s start. Looks like the coast is clear now.”
And so the infiltration by the group of middle schoolers begun.
Amelia sighed, then begun with a serious expression, she’ll give it her best shot despite this being a criminal job - she was used to such covert activities as a Dangerous Abilities class member anyway. “Alright, here’s the plan. First, we split up.”
Aoi gave her input. “Yeah, otherwise we’d easily be caught, despite the Badge. We should probably either make two teams one having four and the other, five of us. Or, three trios.”
Cold sweat rolled down the back of Mio’s neck as she realized what splitting up meant for her. A group could split up easily, but it was simply impossible for Mio to split herself into 2 or even 3. What do I do? Who will I follow? The last thing she wanted to happen was to follow the wrong group and be unable to help again.
“The smaller the better, but there aren’t many places for us to go in this case. Some of us wants to meet Hoshimiya-san, and the rest of us - Reo-san. I believe the former is a favorable idea,” Hyuuga said in response to the plan of splitting up.
Amelia nodded. “Then the solution is obvious.”
“Whoever wants to go see Ichigo, raise your hand lightly,” Aoi said as she raised her hand, it reached as much as up to her eyes as she openly declared her want to visit her dear friend.
“I’m definitely going to meet Hoshimiya-san!” Shiraishi said, raising her hand immediately after Aoi.

“That was rather easy slipping into the hospital through the front door. Are they confident that no one would try, just because no one tried so far?” Amelia muttered as the group covertly walked through the corridors. Their objective was to find Reo in this large hospital. It seemed that there were guards more outside than inside, so it was easier to walk around.
“Maybe someone did look towards us, and ignored us after remembering rumors of ghosts?” Ing added while silently chuckling, he was indeed proud of his invention in action.
“That would be kinda sad on their part, since they’re supposed to still pay attention, but I guess it works for us,” Sakura commented.
“Lame and lazy, L&L for short, that’s what guards should never be,” Amelia added, no one would guess that she came up with it at the exact moment before she spoke. Truly, she possessed the trait of quick thinking.
Hyuuga Aoi kept a watchful eye for laser-line security zones. She possessed the much-hated Fire Alice, so she was awfully sensitive to heat sources, thus she made sure to keep her senses up. She whispered to Amelia. “If I remember correctly, Reo-san is supposed to be in the third floor, we have more work cut out for us than the other group.”
“Shoot! Hide!” Maya exclaimed while keeping her voice extremely low, the group slinked back to the corner.
As everyone listened, there were footsteps.
“How many you think there are?” Sakura said in a low voice.
“Wow! Oh my dear lord, it’s Reo-sama!” Maya exclaimed with her starry eyes, she desperately tried to suppress her voice after taking a glance. There were two figures walking across the corridor, apparently both conversing with each other. One had blond hair, plain white shirt and black pants. He appeared to be rather feminine seemingly for a handsome male. The earrings and rings he wore shined from the sunlight that slipped through the windows as they walked - it was Narumi.
The other figure was clearly a more rich and handsome one, possibly more regal and prideful than Narumi, however. He had brown hair, seemingly shorter than Narumi as he walked with his sunglasses in his hands, Maya noted that he also wore earrings, albeit they’re small and not anything eye-catching from a glance. He loosely wore a violet coat, and a black shirt and pants. As he took leisurely a walk, it seemed that he was chatting with an old friend.
“Really?” Sakura said as she tried to could get a better look.
“Yes! Really! Kouzuki-kun, please tell me you have a camera!”
Ing nodded, flipping out a camera. It didn’t seem like any ordinary one, so Maya was even more excited, as the pictures would probably be better than that of ordinary cameras.
“Narumi, why do you still stay in this wretched academy?”
“Oh? Why do you ask? I love my students, you know.”
“Don’t even pretend, after what they made us do in the shadows while everyone else lived a carefree - confined within the walls of the academy.”
“Regardless, I don’t regret being a teacher at the moment, as I said - I love my students, forevermore!”
Reo spoke with a cold smile. “You changed… you used to be much more colder and harsher.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Narumi shrugged.
“What’s with this unfashionable bracelet, though?”
“You should know better by now. Well, it’s just a precaution. We don’t want you misusing your Voice Pheromone Alice here, either.”
“Right, right.”
As the two spoke, it seemed that they turned to go up the stairs. The group sneakily followed after, trying to not make any sounds of footsteps.
What is this conversation about…
“I wonder what he meant when he said that the academy made them do things behind the shadows, does this mean that the academy does things like making others do their own work?” Completely lost, Sakura felt rather curious, and wanted to know the true nature behind the discussed topic.
Amelia said, trying to follow Narumi and Reo into the flight of stairs. “You’re better off forgetting anything you heard about that,” she accidentally made a loud stomp on her first step to the stairs, and this caused Hyuuga Aoi to make an error in her stepping, as well as Ing. Sakura didn’t lose balance due to Amelia’s abrupt stop. Maya was perfectly calm and unaffected.
“Careful,” Sakura said in a low voice. Why should I forget that? Sakura wondered, but didn’t directly ask. I’ll just keep it to myself for now, I guess.
Narumi looked back from the stairs. “Hm?”
“Is something wrong?”
“No no, I just thought something was there. Must be my imagination~!”
“Uh, well, whatever.”
As Narumi and Reo continued with their walking, the rest sighed. They stood before the doors of a room, as they waited for Narumi and Reo to walk up a bit more. Then decided to walk up the stairs as well.
“Oh? We have intruders in the hospital? I’ll immediately take Reo to his room then.”
“Shoot! Have we been found out?!” Maya panicked.
“T-That can’t be!” Amelia almost exclaimed.
”Contain yourself, Chiyoda-san. It’s probably not from our group.” Ing said calmly.
“Oh, only one person, and he even knocked someone out? Hmm, that could be troublesome,” Narumi continued, apparently on his phone.
“Oh… so we’re safe,” Maya sighed, “But who could this guy be, perhaps from the other group?”
“Only other guy in the group was Fushiki-san... did he do something crazy now?”
Following the two, Amelia and the others followed the duo all the way to the third floor. Albeit discreetly, it didn’t seem as though the pair started to doubt anything, definitely.

As Sono made his way for the door, he saw a guard out of the corner of his eye. He wouldn’t have much time before the guard would force him to leave, but he didn’t come this far to turn back now. Pushing the door open, he entered the hospital. Once inside, he needed to find a place to hide from the guard as he was sure he would be on his tail soon enough.
The guard could be heard coming, running as he called out “Hey, who goes there?!” Sono looked back as he tried to look for a place to hide in after turning and running into a corridor. Hoping that the room closest to him would do he opened the door and stepped inside. If the guard came inside he would be in for a painful surprise.
Inside the room, he saw empty beds that weren’t even covered in sheets yet. They were probably in the process of changing them. Moving to the back of the room near the window he prepared his shadows for if the guard or anyone else came in. He was starting to regret getting involved with this plan. He had no idea the security would be this great. Perhaps there is something else going on here. After all in the academy nothing was ever as it seemed.
The guard came in sliding the door open. “Who’s there?! Come out now!!” he shouted, demanding the intruder to come out.
Flaring up his fingers strands as his shadows made way for the door. As soon as the man stepped on them he would be at Sono’s mercy. However, he made an error and didn’t notice that his Alice had a restraint - right in his arm - and that his range was smaller than he thought. It may possibly because the room is bigger than he initially assumed, thus Sono found it hard to focus to have his shadowy territory stretch all the way to the door. His shadows only covered half the distance he needed. The guard walked in, and looked at Sono. Sono backed up putting on a scared expression. “D-Don’t come any closer.” he said in a frightened tone.
The guard smiled. “Now, come on, this place is off-limits,” he said, walking towards Sono. He didn’t notice the dark flat marks lurking about on the floor. Just as he took a certain step, his body completely froze.
Sono’s scared expression quickly turned to a sinister grin. How foolish he thought as he forced his shadows to constrict around the man knocking him out cold. As soon as he knew the man was out-cold he walked him to the back of the room, and released his hold on the man. Walking to the door he cracked it to see if the coast was clear.
Seeing no one in the corridor, Sono stepped out, and proceeded down the hallway. Ichigo would most likely be kept near the deeper parts of the hospital.
Suddenly Sono felt some commotion. Looks like they found him. I thought I had more time than this, thought Sono. Before he found himself surrounded Sono looked around for another viable place to hide. If anything he was having a bit of fun. The lack of missions was starting to get to him. Stepping into a room he prayed that it was empty.
Sadly however there were people laying in an array of beds; fast asleep. Careful to be extremely quiet, Sono eased the door shut, and listened as a group of guards rush past. He was making progress, but it would be a lot harder from here out.
“Hey, I heard that he might be on the other side of the corridor!”
“Rush it, we gotta catch that brat!”
The guards seemed to have sprinted off to a direction that may be favorable to Sono. After Sono heard the the guards were clear of his area he slowly opened the door. There were no guards in his way, but he had no doubts that they would leave Ichigo or whoever the guest was unprotected. When he reached the area he would merely create a distraction so that the others could get to their objective.
Walking out of the room, he headed down the hallway. Stopping at a corner he heard some guards saying that Reo was no longer at the hospital. Sighing, he saw that this was a waste of time to continue sneaking around. He now needed to find his way out of the hospital. At least he had some fun in the time he spent there. With the guards panicking over something he found it surprisingly easy to slip out than when it was to get in.

Flaring up his fingers strands as his shadows made way for the door. As soon as the man stepped on them he would be at Sono’s mercy. However, he made an error and didn’t notice that his Alice had a restraint - right in his arm - and that his range was smaller than he thought. It may possibly because the room is bigger than he initially assumed, thus Sono found it hard to focus to have his shadowy territory stretch all the way to the door. His shadows only covered half the distance he needed. The guard walked in, and looked at Sono. Sono backed up putting on a scared expression. “D-Don’t come any closer.” he said in a frightened tone.
The guard smiled. “Now, come on, this place is off-limits,” he said, walking towards Sono. He didn’t notice the dark flat marks lurking about on the floor. Just as he took a certain step, his body completely froze.
Sono’s scared expression quickly turned to a sinister grin. How foolish he thought as he forced his shadows to constrict around the man knocking him out cold. As soon as he knew the man was out-cold he walked him to the back of the room, and released his hold on the man. Walking to the door he cracked it to see if the coast was clear.
Seeing no one in the corridor, Sono stepped out, and proceeded down the hallway. Ichigo would most likely be kept near the deeper parts of the hospital.
Suddenly Sono felt some commotion. Looks like they found him. I thought I had more time than this, thought Sono. Before he found himself surrounded Sono looked around for another viable place to hide. If anything he was having a bit of fun. The lack of missions was starting to get to him. Stepping into a room he prayed that it was empty.
Sadly however there were people laying in an array of beds; fast asleep. Careful to be extremely quiet, Sono eased the door shut, and listened as a group of guards rush past. He was making progress, but it would be a lot harder from here out.
“Hey, I heard that he might be on the other side of the corridor!”
“Rush it, we gotta catch that brat!”
The guards seemed to have sprinted off to a direction that may be favorable to Sono. After Sono heard the the guards were clear of his area he slowly opened the door. There were no guards in his way, but he had no doubts that they would leave Ichigo or whoever the guest was unprotected. When he reached the area he would merely create a distraction so that the others could get to their objective.
Walking out of the room, he headed down the hallway. Stopping at a corner he heard some guards saying that Reo was no longer at the hospital. Sighing, he saw that this was a waste of time to continue sneaking around. He now needed to find his way out of the hospital. At least he had some fun in the time he spent there. With the guards panicking over something he found it surprisingly easy to slip out than when it was to get in.

“We should probably avoid being in vicinity of the janitors and guards despite the Ghost Badge’s effects,” Aoi whispered to the group. The four stood before a fork road, when Aoi peeked to the left - from the corner of her eyes - she found a man in white coat walking towards their direction. They were now inside the hospital - after entering through the backdoor, they came across a rather perplexing spot.
Shiraishi sneaked out from below Aoi and peeked along with her. “Damn, that guy is coming our way, what to do?!”
”If only someone could distract him” Ine commented. She wished that he would walk away but to no avail.
As the man came, Aoi walked out of the group and stood in front of him. Naturally, she took off the badge after noticing that they were in a blind-spot of the security cameras. She could feel the emotions of surprise and the others wanting her to stop. However, she had her best card to play for this situation.
“Hey, you got tasked with patrolling here?”
“Ah, yeah. What about you?”
“I was, too, strangely. I just got this section done, you should head to that direction now since I’m yet to cover that… unless you’d like me to go for that, too?”
“No, that’s alright. I just got back from my break, might as well do my job.”
As the man walked past the group straight, he didn’t bother turning to the right to see the transparent group lying in wait for his disappearance from the scene.
After he left, everyone sighed; feeling greatly relieved.
“Man, I almost skipped a beat, you scared me! What the hell happened, though? I’m so lost,” Shiraishi asked, seeing Aoi’s Alice for the first time, it was truly breath-taking how the man didn’t doubt even for a second.
“It’s her Alice. When she uses it, any act and persona she takes on feels like it’s real.” Shouta explained to Shiraishi.
”It sounds super useful” Ine said, wishing her own Alice was as useful.
Shiraishi was impressed, she honestly assumed that it was a kind of a Pheromone Alice. “Cool, I didn’t think I’ve heard of such an Alice before.”
“I wish you would have told us that you were gonna use it, though!” He whispered in a slightly upset tone to Aoi.
“I would if I had the time to!” Aoi retorted, “Or would you prefer to be caught?”
Shouta sighed. Aoi was right; she had to do it, or else, they would have been caught. “Just let us know next time. You almost gave us heart attacks.” He looked around the corner, and in the direction of the guard walking away. “Yeah, we should get going. Let’s move up.”
Mio had been ready to jump out as the situation seemed dire, however seeing that Kiriya was going to deal with the approaching man, she quickly slinked back into her hiding place. Although she didn’t have a ghost badge, stalking without being caught was a skill Mio had picked up over the years. Letting go of her held breath after the man walked past, she focused her attention once more to the group ahead of her.
As the group ventured deep into the hospital, Aoi commented. “Isn’t this place a little too silent? As if we came to some secret science lab or something,” this was particularly accurate because such scenes do often happen in movies, and they have the similar vibe that this place exuded.
“Did they remove the patients for that Reo, perhaps?”
“Eh? How’d they do that, though? We’re talking about patients here!”
“How’d I know?! This is Alice Academy, all sorta strange things can happen here!”
“Why would they remove patients, though? They’re here for some reason or another, right? They can’t just remove them for a celebrity, can they?”
“Ah! Hide!” Aoi exclaimed upon abrupt realization of hearing footsteps.
“Hey! Apparently some boy sneaked into the hospital using the main entrance!”
“I heard that too. They even reported finding a guard knocked out!”
“Damn, we gotta catch this guy fast then, use the Alice restraints they gave for emergencies! Or just use your Alice!”
“Got it!”
As the conversation ended, the two sped off to a corridor that seemed to go to the side where the group was slowly advancing, Aoi and the others looked among one another with bewildered faces.
“Holy crap, was someone from the other group found out?!” Shouta exclaimed in a whisper.
“The possibility is there. There are also possibilities of other Reo’s fans to come too,” Aoi said what she thought. “We should confirm nonetheless,” Aoi then pressed her finger over the earring that she wore - activating it. “You guys had trouble or something? What’s this about a certain boy causing problems around the premises, even going as far as knocking someone out?”
“Oh, so it wasn’t Fushiki-san going berserk for whatever reasons? Otherwise, I assumed they'd mistake Shiraishi for a boy, honestly.”
“I’m not a guy, thank you very much!” Shiraishi spat out sarcastically, desperately trying to keep her voice low.
“H-Hey! I can control myself! I won’t just go off randomly like that!”
“We weren’t caught or something! And I wouldn’t do that anyway!”
“Fufufu, relax. We haven’t had any sort of trouble so far, either.”
“Wait, then, who’s starting all this commotion?”
Hyuuga Aoi reported. “We have heard about a certain boy causing trouble, from Narumi sensei in fact.”
“W-Wait, Narumi sensei?!”
“Surprise, surprise! We spotted Reo-sama, he was walking along with Narumi, having a strange conversation… ”
“Anyway, there are two stairs leading to the second floor, you guys are supposed to take the one closest, of course. We’re taking the other one, and are following Reo-san. Careful not to run into them, or us for that matter… ”
“As if we’d want to.”
“I’d love to!” Aoi said with starry eyes.
“HUH?!! This isn’t the time for that!!” Shiraishi blurted out with a frustrated yet comical face. She didn’t expected that from Aoi, at all, a bead of sweat ran down at the back of her head.
“We can join up with them later, but didn’t you want to see Hoshimiya-san, first?” Shouta reminded Aoi. He’d rather see Ichigo, himself, as he wasn’t as interested in Reo.
“Haha… sorry, I sorta got carried away,” Aoi said with a forced smile. “Anyway, this commotion could be taken to our advantage. With them distracted, we can rush to the stairs now.”
Shouta let out a chuckle. “I was just thinking the same thing. Let’s do it!” He lead the way, checking all directions for any remaining guards before proceeding onward, and stopping at the top of the stairs, waiting for everyone else and checking ahead.

In the middle of performing the risky task of following the mysterious duo of adults, Aoi and the others contacted them about the other infiltrator, and they discussed the issue for a while before moving on.
Narumi seemed to have looked back only once when they accidentally made noises, but they were probably still safe. Just after Reo and Narumi reached the third floor, Reo was led to a room very close to the stairs.
“Okay! This will be your waiting room for now. Let us sort the situation out, and after some paper works are done, we’ll let you off soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. However, think of it as a price for your popularity~!”
“Heh. Gotcha.”
As Narumi left the room, the group watched as he walked over to the... right… ?
“Oh yes! If you want to say hi to him! You may as well do it now!” Narumi turned to look at the group of frozen students, all caught red-handed. “Hurry along now,” he gave a wink, then walked up the flight of stairs again; going to the fourth floor.
“Y-Yes, sensei… !”
Well, that was disappointing, and I thought he didn’t notice. Ing sighed.
Amelia sighed, too. “So we were noticed after all, but man, that sensei never changes,” Amelia commented, smiling.
“You don’t think we will get in trouble for this later, do you?” Sakura said, feeling a bit scared the last thing she wanted is getting caught for something she wasn’t suppose to be doing.
“Narumi sensei is a little too nice to punish us for this.”
“Anyway! Let’s go meet Reo-sama!” Maya ignored what just happened, and rushed off to the brown door, and opened it immediately.
“What… the… “ Maya said, dumbfounded.
Amelia walked up to her, then placed her hand over Maya’s shoulder from behind. “What’s up?”
“He’s gone!” Maya shouted, Hyuuga Aoi immediately placed her hand over her mouth. “You’re being too loud!” she said as Maya mumbled under Hyuuga Aoi’s hand.
“But wait, really?”
“Reo-saaaaaan?” Hyuuga Aoi called out, after entering the room. It was absolutely empty. “What’s going on… ?”
“... ” Maya looked down, depressed.
A person can’t just disappear by itself, could it be a work of an Alice? Interesting. Ing thought as he looked around the room for clues.
It can’t be what I think it is…
“Is there some kind of teleportation Alice?” Sakura said as she looked around the room, feeling disappointed.
“But Reo-san isn’t supposed to have such an Alice.”
”What kind of Alice does this Reo person has, if I may ask?”
“He has the Voice Pheromone Alice.”
“Well, with him gone - I guess we have nothing to do now… ”
“Should we be searching for Reo-san?”
“Yeah, I’m still curious on how did he suddenly disappear without a trace, or maybe we just entered the wrong room,” Ing asked while walking around the room, searching for clues.
“That just seems like an Instant Teleportation Alice,” Maya theorized, “Maybe he had an Alice stone?”
“Alice Stone? What is that?” Sakura asked, not remembering that being mentioned before.
“They’re stones you can conjure with your Alice. The stone will contain your Alice when you make one. When someone uses said stone, they’d be able to use your Alice from the stone itself,” Maya explained. “However, you have to be in similar or perfect wavelength to use an Alice Stone. Each and every Alice Stones have different wavelengths based on each Alices.”
“That's pretty amazing. Though, it’s probably hard finding one with a perfect wavelength, isn’t it?”
“Yes, he’d have to be lucky to find one that works with him. However, Instant Teleportation Alice is a Latent type Alice that is rather common among the Alices.”
“That leads to another question, who would have given him an Alice Stone? I mean, making an Alice Stone itself is rather hard.”
“Uh, yeah. Only to Elementary students, probably. It’s rather easy for veterans who are adept at using their Alices. Most of us Middle Schoolers can do it with ease… you know?”
“There could be a possibility that his personal guards may just have an Instant Teleportation Alice user… ”
“Hm... Anyway, this room is a dead end, I can’t seem to find any clues on how did he suddenly disappear other than using an Instant Teleportation Alice Stone. We should go back,” Ing said after looking under the empty hospital bed.
“Yeah, I think we did what we set out for - seeing the superstar in flesh. I-It... was worth it,” Amelia’s cheeks turned slightly pink, but she turned her face towards the door, Reo was indeed handsome, more than she assumed. “Anyway, instead of standing here, we should head back to the class. Hiiragi-san is still a new student, and exams are coming up too!”
”Wait, exams already? When are they!?”
“In around. . .” Ing took out his small notepad and checked the notes that he usually wrote. ”Day after tomorrow.” He put it back in his pocket.
“Eeehhh, why wasn’t I told about this sooner?! I don’t even know if I learned everything what they have cover in this school.”
“It was announced… I think. Miya sensei forgot to mention it the other day - probably - but it always happens before the Alice Festival.”
“I can help you with your studies if you want!”
“Have you been updated with the recent materials, though?”
“Mhm, Kouzuki-san has been kind enough to visit me with the printouts.”
“Heeeh? Is that so?” Maya nonchalantly said, looking at Ing, then back at Hyuuga Aoi. “He must care a lot about you then,” Maya said with a smug face.
”Ehh? I was just doing my job as a class rep, if you want we could study together sometime, Chiyoda-san.” Ing said. Wait, could it be that she’s jealous?
“Anyway, with that, we’re getting back to the class. There’s no point in sticking around here, chatting.”
“Alright and thank you, Hyuuga-san, that would be helpful as I’m not sure how much material of what was taught before I got here will be on the test,” Sakura said as she walked with the others out of the room, and started heading for the academy.
“Okay. By the way, you guys can keep the devices that I gave,” Ing said as he followed the guys.
“Thanks, they’ll come in handy!”
”Just don’t use them to play tricks on people, and if you do, don’t tell them that you got it from me.”
Hyuuga Aoi replied with a smile. “Of course we won’t! Right, Amelia-san, Hiiragi-san, Chiyoda-san?”
“Hmm, this will be fun… ”
“Eh?!”
“These would serve well when I’m bored… ”

“Alright and thank you, Hyuuga-san, that would be helpful as I’m not sure how much material of what was taught before I got here will be on the test,” Sakura said as she walked with the others out of the room, and started heading for the academy.
“Okay. By the way, you guys can keep the devices that I gave,” Ing said as he followed the guys.
“Thanks, they’ll come in handy!”
”Just don’t use them to play tricks on people, and if you do, don’t tell them that you got it from me.”
Hyuuga Aoi replied with a smile. “Of course we won’t! Right, Amelia-san, Hiiragi-san, Chiyoda-san?”
“Hmm, this will be fun… ”
“Eh?!”
“These would serve well when I’m bored… ”

Cards and Hugs abound

As the rest of the group got up the flight of stairs, they looked left, then to the right. “The coast is clear!”
“Second-last to the right, right?”
The group ran towards Ichigo’s room, it was surprisingly a long distance away, they had no intention to be caught before they got to their destination.
Ine and Aoi went for a sprint as soon as they noticed that the door was meters away from them. Shouta and Shiraishi tried to keep up, albeit Shouta felt like someone was coming towards them from the stairs - most likely a guard - perhaps they were making too much noise with the running. Shiraishi’s legs seemed tired as she ran slower than usual. “I think I’ve been trying too hard to walk covertly, now my legs hurts! Goddamnit!” she cursed as she tried her best to keep up.
In fear of being left behind, Mio too hurriedly scrambled after the group. Leaping up the staircase, she quickly reached the second floor and continued running as quietly as she could towards the others hoping that they wouldn’t look back as they themselves headed towards their goal.
“Oi, Shiraishi-san! Keep up! I feel like someone might be coming!” Shouta called out to Shiraishi, then turned his head while running. “W-Woah, who are you?!” he yelled out after finding a new figure behind them. She wasn’t using the Ghost Badge, so it was easy to tell that she was a part of their group, or the other one. Aoi and Ine seemed to be peeking back to look at the commotion, and Shiraishi almost freaked out. “Why are you, of all people doing here, Amahane?!” she spat out, baring her fangs with a very cranky face.
Noticing the sudden act of Shouta turning his head back, Mio had no time to stop and hide. For a brief second, she had hoped that maybe he could be cooperative. Putting her index finger to her lips, she tried to signal for him to stay quiet, however her hope was dashed quickly when he yelled out towards her. Shiraishi’s question revealed her identity, thus seeing as it was all too late to make the perfect entrance, Mio could only reply with her usual heroic declaration. “Why am I, the Miraculous Mio, here you ask? Well of course! The answer is none other than to save you poor unfortunate souls!”
Shiraishi muttered, not too impressed with the showy introduction, she wasn’t pleased with the †˜unfortunate souls’ comment, either. “Right… I’m surprised you can even see us, despite our equipments.”
“It’s easy peasy when I’ve been focusing on you guys the whole time!” Mio grinned from ear to ear. She was very pleased with Shiraishi’s comment, thinking of it as praise.
Just as Mio made her epic entrance with the grand speech, Shouta noticed noises of running. More so from a different direction. Someone else is coming, or are Kiriya-san and Akizuki-san still running?! he instantly looked back towards Aoi and Ine, and they seemed to be looking at their direction from the designated door.
“Oh shi-” he came to a realization, turning back to Shiraishi and this Amahane person he met for the first time - whose introduction was ignored by him blatantly as it wasn’t the time for that - he saw a guard came down from the stairs that led to the third floor of the building.
“Hey! What are you doing here?! This place is off-limits!” the guard shouted, there was a good chance that he hadn’t noticed the semi-transparent figures, yet. He teleported close to Mio.
“Shit! This guy has the Instant Teleportation Alice!”
“Huh?! There’s more of them?!”
“G-Ghosts?!”
The two guards spoke in unison; scared and surprised at the same time.
Shouta dashed towards Mio and Shiraishi without any prior thought - taking his confusion to his advantage. Maybe I can do something like a back-flip?! Agh, who am I kidding? I’ve never used these shoes before! Shouta thought while running. He moved his entire right arm around Shiraishi; grabbing her - not noticing her abruptly flustering face at all. Then made a small jump towards Mio. “W-What the hell are you doing?!” Shiraishi complained loudly as Shouta thoughtlessly made his move. The leap allowed him to land in front of her - perhaps he could do this because he used to fight a lot in America. He held Mio the same way, too, then jumped backwards.
“Kya-” Mio shoved her hands to her mouth, stopping the girlish unhero-like squeal she was about to let out due to being swooped up by surprise. Waaaah that was embarrassing! What kind of hero would let out a scream like that? I hope no one heard me.
Right after he did so, he noticed that he hadn’t turned towards the correct direction before doing so - it was a failed backflip attempt where he didn’t flip. Not that he could do it with passengers, anyway. Disappointed with himself, the ridiculous height that he flew completely allowed him to forget about all that.
“WOAH!!” Shouta yelled out, this was ear-deafening loud - especially for Shiraishi and Mio - the force created from his Alice pushed him towards the direction he was heading for, surprisingly. As it was all too sudden, Shouta couldn’t control his Alice, at all. Shiraishi’s eyes seemed to be spiralling from confusion and all the noises and the sudden take off from the floor.
The high pitched ringing in Mio’s ears blocked out all sound as if it she was in the eye of the storm. From Mio’s point of view it simply seemed as if everything was going slow motion and she was flying through the air. “Holy crap, this is awesome.” She muttered, looking back at the guard getting further and further away.
However, it seemed that the guard was so affected that he even held his dear ears desperately - it seemed as though he grabbed his head head instead of his ears violently - as if he was seeing a nightmare.
Shouta and the others then ran up to Aoi and Ine. “Why are you guys not inside the room yet?!” Shouta asked, seeing Aoi holding the door knob.
“We’ve been trying!” Ine exclaimed, feeling impatient herself.
“It won’t open! It’s locked!” Aoi shouted back, she tried to turn the knob, showing Shouta and the others that it was indeed locked. It felt incredibly annoying. They worked so hard to get this far, yet there was such an obstacle getting in their way at the last moment.
Mio watched as the group yelled at each other in front of a door, despite not being able to hear a thing. She had already come to the conclusion that she had temporarily been deafened by Shouta’s shout and the simple sight of people opening and closing their mouths like fish turned out to be absolutely hilarious to Mio. It was when she noticed Aoi trying to turn the door knob that she remembered the group’s objective which was to see Ichigo in hospital. Could it be…? The door must be locked! Mio’s eyes glittered with anticipation. Tapping the two closest to her on their shoulder, not realising that she was the only one who couldn’t hear other than Shiraishi, she waited until their attention was focused on her. She started out by saying the start of her incantation in her mind. “My heart…” However getting too in to her pointless display, while making a diamond in front of her chest with her thumbs and index fingers, Mio called out the last sequence without realising. “Un-” She flipped her hands around, “-lock!” Then Mio grabbed the door knob and twisted it, using her Alice to unlock it at the same time, and pushed it open.
“What… was that?! And how did she open the door?”
“Let’s talk about that later, let’s hurry inside!” Aoi pointed towards the room, as Ine and Shiraishi ran in. Shouta hurriedly went inside after coming to his senses.
Mio also followed them in on a whim, however, seeing that the group had succeeded in their mission, it was time for the hero to make her hasty escape! Running up to the window, she slid it open and posed on the window sill. “I know you all must be wanting to thank me for saving you with my powers, however a hero does not need to be thanked! With that, I bid you all farewell!” Mio waved and laughed as her feet pushed away from the window. As she fell, she grabbed on to the branches close by to lower herself to the ground. Feeling satisfied with her heroism of the day, Mio skipped back to class while humming her self-made ending sequence tune for the future where her heroism will show up on television.
“W-Whoa, wait!” Shouta tried calling out to the strange girl who was named Amahane Mio, but she had already jumped out of the window. He rushed to the window and looked out to see if she survived the landing, and saw her walking away, seemingly unharmed. ”I guess she’s okay…” Her actions confused Shouta, however. What was she doing butting into our business…? If she wanted to join us, she could’ve just asked earlier. He appreciated her help in getting the door open, though, but was also still curious as to how she managed to do so.

An audible yet silent panting noise could be heard from Ichigo who was fast asleep. It seemed like she was in pain, even when resting. Droplets of sweat rolled by her skin without her knowledge. Who knows how long she’s been like this.
He shook his head. That †˜hero’ girl was not important at this point in time. He had come here to see Ichigo. “How’s she feeling?” Shouta asked Aoi and Ine. They were her friends, surely they already started checking on her. “Is she alright…?” He quietly asked again as he approached Ichigo’s bed.
Ine shook her head, ”she doesn’t look good Ine said, tears in her eyes, “Ichigo…”. Ichigo was sleeping fitfully, sweat dripped down her face in glistening bead and her heart was audibly pounding fast, looking at her like this made Ine feel unbelievably sad.
Aoi fell to her knees. “I… Ichigo… ” Strands of salty water rushed down - past her cheeks - as they lightly thumped against the floor - as she looked at Ichigo was a blank face; heart broken. She had no idea her friend was going through all this. It was the first time in her life that Ichigo was in a dire condition such as this before her.
“W-What happened to her?! This looks worse than simple sickness, have they even been treating her here?!” Shiraishi angrily exclaimed, her frown completely disorganizing her facial expression. There were tears in her eyes, too, but she tried to hold them off.
“This is the result of somebody overusing their Alice…?” Shouta cringed at Ichigo’s state. “Why wasn’t anyone taking care of her!? Where are the doctors!?” He started becoming angry with the hospital for not taking better care of its patients. He looked for a towel or something similar to wipe the sweat from Ichigo; he wasn’t entirely sure how to help her get better, but this was probably a good start.
“Someone is… approaching the room?!” Shiraishi whispered in a serious tone after coming to a realization.
“Seriously?” Shouta was focused on Ichigo, but turned his head toward Shiraishi in surprise.
”Eh!” Ine said roused from her empathy.
“... ” Aoi still stared at Ichigo - she was almost frozen internally.
“Don’t just stand there like statues, we have to hide!”
“Does it even… matter anymore?”
“Of course it does! You want to be with her more, right?!” Shiraishi then tugged on Aoi’s shirt, and pulled her, dragging her to a table on the other. “We should hide under this table, with the Ghost Badge still active - we have a good shot at being safe. The window is wide open, so they might assume that we escaped.”
Ine nodded her head, “mmm, good idea Shiraishi-san” she said following her under the table.
“...Are we doing this, again…?” Shouta mumbled as everyone started to crowd up underneath the table. To Shouta, this felt like an awfully familiar situation. There was very little room for himself after the three other girls crawled under. “Pardon me…” He said quietly as he tried to fit underneath with them.
“Bah! Why do you have to be beside me again?!” Shiraishi snapped out at Shouta who was to the left from her perspective. Remembering what transpired in that one empty classroom, her cheeks contained tiny shades of pink, but considering the situation, she tried to shove her thoughts aside.
A rather foreign figure entered opened the door casually; entering the room. The man had short brown hair, and he appeared to be quite handsome. Wearing his coat in a rather loose manner, he wore a black shirt underneath, and black pants to match with the rest of his clothes. Along with him were two men in black, one wore sunglasses and was completely bald, the other seemed like a foreigner with short blond hair.
“That’s… Reo, right?” Shiraishi said, she had been in the academy for many years. So in the past, when she was very young, she’d rarely catch a glimpse of the ever popular male in the campus grounds.
”I wonder what he’s doing here” Ine whispered, thoughtfully. She too had seen Reo around, having been at the academy most of her life.
Shouta simply watched the men in silence. Their presence here was unsettling for him, but he couldn’t understand why. He prepared himself to pounce on one of them if they try anything suspicious.
“Oh? She’s here after all.”
“Well, I found her with my Alice, after all,” the bald man with sunglasses said.
“So, we find her at last - the Life-sucking Vampire.”
“Life-sucking… vampire? What are these guys on about? Why the hell are they here?”
“Shh…”
“She seems so harmless when she’s like this… ” the blond man with sky-blue eyes commented.
“She defeated many of our men before, you know.”
“Yes, I know.”
“Anyway, we’re taking her. You two know what to do now?”

“What the… wait...” Aoi instinctively stretched her hand forward towards her dear friend. “D-Don’t take her away,” Aoi silently muttered, with her teary eyes - her vision looked fuzzy - she could barely raise her voice to convey her message to the villains standing before her.
”Taking… they can’t do that” said Ine angrily, these people could definitely not be her friends.
“Yes, sir!”
The two grunts ran up to Ichigo, along with Reo. The bald man touched Ichigo, connected himself with the other two. They vanished right after, leaving Aoi and others in awe and surprise.
“Ichigo!!” Aoi yelled out desperately, but she was no longer there in her bed.
“What the hell… ?! Bastards!” Shiraishi swore; agitated from witnessing such a disgusting deed being performed. She felt ashamed at the same time that she watched without doing anything. Who’d know that Reo was such a scumbag?
”Who do they think they are!?” Ine said upon seeing Ichigo vanish.
“NOOOO!” Shouta yelled as he jumped from underneath the table, trying to react to the man laying his hand on Ichigo. He was, unfortunately, too late. “Damn it… Shit… FUCK!”
Aoi could hardly believe what she just saw. That superstar from Hollywood kidnapped Ichigo… what for?!
She desperately crawled out from under the table. “We’re going after them! Come on you guys! We have to stop them!!” frowning, Aoi too, snapped. She brushed her tears aside brashly, only sadness and rage were left in her now. She’d use her Acting Alice to make the kidnappers believe that the world was ending if she could, now.
“Yeah, there’s no way we’ll let those bastards take Hoshimiya-san and let them get away with it!!”
Shouta’s first instinct was to check outside of the window. He found a car in the distance, and some figures around it. One of them was being put into the car’s trunk. That has to be them! He growled, and stomped out back into the hallway, saying on his way out, “Let’s go get †˜em… Someone contact the others, and let them know what just happened.” Once he finished talking, he sped his pace into a sprint, headed for the nearest exit. Time was against them. Shouta knew that if they didn’t find the culprits very soon, they may never see Ichigo again.
Aoi looked at the car too, and witnessing them taking Ichigo inside the car with them. “After them!” Aoi dashed out of the room with the rest of the group, “If any one of you want to not get involved then you can just stop and leave for class or something, if not, then we’re chasing that car to the ends of the world!” she yelled out, running with the others throughout the corridor.
Ine pumped her fist in the air. ”Yeah! We’ll show them what happens when they mess with our friends” Ine said.
“I’m definitely making those bastards pay!” Shiraishi nodded, not willing to go away after seeing what just took place. “We can use our transmitters, that way we can have Amelia-san and the others report the urgent situation to the authorities!”
“Yeah, let’s do that!” Aoi replied, then pressed her finger on the device that layed on her ear. “H-Hello, you guys there!”
“Yeah, we’re actually going to class now, that Reo-san vanished, we had no more reason to stay there, so we’re sneaking out,” Amelia casually replied, there was a hint of boredom in her voice.
“Is something the matter, Kiriya-san? You seem to be… in a hurry?” the other Aoi asked, curious.
“I have no time to explain but!” Aoi begun, as she rushed down the stairs with the other three. [color=#0000A]“Ichigo was kidnapped by Reo-san!”[/color]
“Eh?! What do you mean?”
“Reo-sama is… a kidnapper?! This can’t be!”
“We mean what we said! It’s true!”
“Assuming this is true. They haven’t left the academy yet… we should stop them!”
“We’re going after them. Go tell the authorities about it while you guys can!”
“Right, we’re on it!”
As Aoi and the others ran, some guards tried to stop them as they no longer tried to be sneaky or discrete. The group desperately tried to escape the hospital, which seemed more like a cage to them now.
Aoi rendered the guards useless with her Alice at times, the other times, Shouta used his Shout Alice to immobilize them, much to the group’s dismay, they did get deaf due to the Alice’s effects, but they weren’t knocked out like the guards were. Shiraishi’s Telekinesis Alice helped to drag the guards to Shouta’s range, too.
“Thanks!”
“Don’t mention it!”
As the group finally escaped the hospital, it seemed that the car was already moving towards the tall black iron gates.
“Tch, were we too late?!”
”We can’t give up!” Shouta continued to exert all of his energy and ran as fast as he could to try to reach the car in time.
“Let’s go after it!”
”Shouta-kun is right, we have to carry on, don’t worry, we’ll definitely get Ichigo back” Ine said patting Aoi on the back.
“Another thing guys, take off those Ghost Badges, we’re only gonna scare the others. We don’t need to run around the campus looking like Ghosts right now!”
“Yeah, good call, we might freak people out!”
Shouta and Ine gave a slight nod. The four took off the badges.
“What the… wait...” Aoi instinctively stretched her hand forward towards her dear friend. “D-Don’t take her away,” Aoi silently muttered, with her teary eyes - her vision looked fuzzy - she could barely raise her voice to convey her message to the villains standing before her.
”Taking… they can’t do that” said Ine angrily, these people could definitely not be her friends.
“Yes, sir!”
The two grunts ran up to Ichigo, along with Reo. The bald man touched Ichigo, connected himself with the other two. They vanished right after, leaving Aoi and others in awe and surprise.
“Ichigo!!” Aoi yelled out desperately, but she was no longer there in her bed.
“What the hell… ?! Bastards!” Shiraishi swore; agitated from witnessing such a disgusting deed being performed. She felt ashamed at the same time that she watched without doing anything. Who’d know that Reo was such a scumbag?

The group dashed towards the car; chasing it. Aoi and Ine fell behind due to a lack of stamina. Surprisingly, Shouta and Shiraishi sped up - faster than ever - almost catching up.
Shiraishi felt like her range caught up to the car - for her Alice’s usage - she stretched her arm forward as she ran with all her might. “Take this!”
It seemed as though the car came to a cessation, but for a very short moment, before it proceeded to moving onward towards the gates at an alarming speed. The exit to the academy - on the other hand - was crowded with students of all branches; all wanting to catch a glimpse of the ever popular performer, Reo. Little did they know that Reo and his goons kidnapped the most popular idol of the academy and kept that misleadingly innocent-looking sick girl under the trunk of the car.
The gates opened with a clunk as the guards pushed a certain button to have it open. A guard signalled the car to hastily pass through.
“Fushiki-kun, we’re using your shoes to go after them, do you think you can pull it off?” Aoi asked, barely catching up to Shouta.
“I can try! Everyone, hang on!”
“We’re counting on you!”
“Please take care of us!”
”Sho-kun, be careful with me” Ine said, smiling but panting hard.
Shouta stopped, and let the three come to him, as he prepared himself for a boosted jump. He took a deep breath, readying his body for the extra weight, and his voice, in case he needs to propel himself further. Once Ine, Shiraishi, and Aoi all grabbed onto him, he made a small hop to prime the boots, allowing his second jump to launch everyone into the air.
It didn’t create enough distance to catch up with the car. As he reached the peak of the jump, Shouta turned around and shouted, using his Alice to propel himself, and everyone along with him, closer to the car. “Come on…” he pleaded as they began to descend.
Shouta undeniably reached closer to the car, but the car simply went past the gates, as they stopped right behind the crowd of students, they may have been too late.
“Goddamnit!” Shiraishi cursed, still unable to hear anything.
“Fushiki-kun, try again! We might be able to make it out of the gates. That way, we can keep chasing them even without the shoes!” Aoi suggested, speaking louder than usual. As she was unable to hear anything due to the Shout Alice, she could only speak however she could in hopes that Shouta would be able to hear her words.
Shouta was burned out from his sprint from earlier, along with the first boosted jump. However, he gathered his remaining energy to attempt one more jump. He made sure everyone still had a firm grip on him, and ran, building some momentum before hopping and jumping once again. He, again, needed to use his Alice to ensure they could safely land over and out of the gate.
As Shouta leaped, the tip of his legs touched the solid cold asphalt of the road - he put force on it - pressing against the earth to immediately jump once again. With the force generated from his shoes - he performed a high jump. He turned his face towards the students behind them, all looking at them in awe and surprise. He felt sorry for them, but it had to be done. “ARGH!!” he screamed; letting out an ear-deafening noise from his mouth - deliberately unleashing his Alice via screeching - as Aoi, Ine and Shiraishi tightly held their ears, and still felt their ears ringing loudly soon after. They already knew that it’d barely help their ears, however. The group flied straight ahead towards the exit of the academy as it was closing. The guards, having caught sight of the four was trying to rush the gates closed.
“What the?! Hurry, those brats are trying to escape the academy!” the guards rushed the process after coming to a realization.
Regardless of the extra efforts put by the guards, Shouta and the others slipped past the gates a second before the gates closed shut.
The four burst out running as soon as they were out, going after the car which was still visibly passing by with every seconds - ignoring the roars of the guards who couldn’t leave the gates unattended - the teachers and the rest of the staff would have to take action. Outside the academy’s gates, there were roads leading straight, left and right. The black limousine went straight, so the three gave a dash straight ahead as well.

Cards and Hugs abound

“Damn it! It’s hard when we don’t have any sort of a vehicle for improved mobility!” Aoi complained to particularly no one, huffing and panting, she was at the end of her breath.
“You said it! We should have all gotten those pair of rabbit shoes or something!” Shiraishi said, half-jokingly - still wanting those cute little rabbit shoes.
“If only the car would stop for some traffic jam or something… ”
”Wanna… try another jump?” Shouta said between breaths. He was fatigued, panting heavily as he ran. He kept up his pace through sheer force of will.
“But would it work? Aren’t you drained of most of your stamina?” Shiraishi said worriedly. He had to perform around two jumps, considering the weight he had to carry, it must have taken its toll on him. He also did a jump in the hospital with Mio and herself.
“It’s too reckless to do it now!”
”Don’t push yourself, Sho-kun.”
“H-How…” Shouta was running out of breath. “How else are we… gonna catch up to them…?”
“We’ll have you save up the last of your strength for now! I’m not telling you to not jump anymore, I’m asking you to save it for the right time, Fushiki-kun,” Aoi replied, completely serious.
Shiraishi nodded. “I think it might be better that way, maybe they’ll get caught in a traffic jam soon!”
Shouta nodded as well. “Alright…” He didn’t want to depend on something like that, but it was their best hope. Having lived in Tokyo for a short while before being enrolled in Alice Academy, Shouta knew that heavy traffic happens fairly often.
“That they will, Tokyo is a large and congested city, they’d need a miracle to have a smooth ride.”
Ine wished that everyone could just be with Ichigo. To her surprise she felt some power well up inside her… only for it to fade away again. Ine puffed up her cheeks to the max, ”boo!” she exclaimed in dismay.
As the group mindlessly chased after the devious vehicle on foot, they found themselves stared at by the pedestrians along the streets. Most people were not familiarized with the Alice Academy uniform. Excluding a pack of few that lurks just outside the walls and gates of the academy, and the parents of the homecoming students, ordinary people outside the world were not even sure about the existence of the academy.
Aoi’s parker was tugged from the back, and Shiraishi’s hand was grabbed with an arm.
A tall man with short brown hair and brown eyes appeared out of the blue. Aoi recognized him, he was the Social Studies teacher from the academy. “Sensei?!” Aoi could see a few onlookers watching them in awe, especially because the teacher used teleportation to appear from nowhere.
“Oh shit!” Shouta said, he’d kick the man away, but he was a teacher, and he had both Aoi and Shiraishi in his grasp.
“Sensei… “ Ine lowly said, recognizing him as the Latent type class’s real moderator who’d be taking care of the class when he wasn’t away for certain errands.
“You’re all coming back to the academy, now!”
“But sensei, they kidnapped Hoshimiya-san! We have to save her!”
“We’ll have your excuses back in the Academy’s Headquarters, Troublekinesis!”
“Stop touching me!”
“H-Huh?! Who the hell are you guys?!”
“How would I know?! We’re only going to karaoke! Get lost!”
“Uhh, um, right, I have to search for them again. Damn it, how did they escape?” Makihara thought. “Wait, Kiriya Aoi-kun has… ” as he mumbled to himself, a black solid object hit his head all of a sudden; knocking him out. It was an attack used by the so-called Troublekinesis, who took something out from the trash close-by from the alleyways with her Telekinesis Alice.

“Way to go with the Acting Alice, Kiriya-san, and with that attack with the Telekinesis Alice, Shiraishi!”
“Phew… ” Ine let out a sigh of relief then made a thumbs up to Aoi and Shiraishi. ”Good Job”
Aoi and Shiraishi did a highfive, smiling at each other. “Distract and hit, we’ll make a great pair, Shiraishi-san!”
“ Yeah! You said it!”
“I knew it though, we can’t rely on the academy just yet, huh?!”
“Yeah, but now we totally lost the car, with all these roads leading to different directions,” Shiraishi said as all four to stopped to look around.
“We have to find a way to track that car.”
“Guess we don’t have any other choice, then,” Shiraishi said, taking out a tiny green stone from her pocket. She concentrated, taking the stone close to her chest.
“Promise me you guys won’t laugh!” Shiraishi angrily requested… more like, ordered, as she bared her fangs towards the others with a frown. A pair of two yellow dog-ears popped up from her head, as well as whiskers appearing over her cheeks. Lastly, a yellow tail flicked out from the back of her skirt.
“This Alice is as embarrassing as ever...” Shiraishi said shyly, almost closing her fingers; her hands were gestured like cat-paws. Her cheeks painted vividly pink by embarrassment, but she still held a cranky face, it seemed that she even grew longer fangs. There weren’t anyone at this section of the streets, so she felt safer using the Alice here. Shiraishi usually doesn’t care when people stares at her, it only matters when she uses this embarrassing Alice.
”They look good on you Shiraishi-san” Ine smiled.
Shouta simply stared at Shiraishi, dumbfounded. S-S-She’s… so cute! What’s with those ears and that tail!?
Aoi’s eyes went starry. “You look cu- wait, what are you even doing?!”
“Agh! They don’t, nyaa!” Shiraishi spat out at Aoi and Ine. “A-Anyway! I can now track Reo and his goons with my sense of scent as long as this Alice lasts nyaa.”
“Oh no they look amazing on you!” Aoi remarked, ignoring her statement of denial. I’ll make sure to take many pictures after all this is over!! Aoi thought, her eyes still starry, but as she backtracked the words she heard from Shiraishi, her expression turned serious again. It was no time to be fooling around.
“I-i-i-i-is that so…? I-is that a-another Alice?” Shouta stuttered as he spoke to Shiraishi. He couldn’t help himself, he was at a loss for words at her appearance. Even her manner of speech; she started talking like a cat. It was just so cute to him.
“I-It’s a gift from my old senpai who’s a High School student currently. Now let me concentrate nyaa!” Shiraishi bent down to the floor on all four, her tail strangely curled upwards; rolling up - comparable to that of a dog’s tail. She sniffed the air like a cat would, and tried to track Reo’s scent from the air.
”Nyaa?” Ine tilted her head. The cat-dog Alice sure was funny she thought.
“I can’t speak in a different manner other than this when I use this Alice, nyaa! She was able to track down the goons. “Follow me, nyaa!” Shiraishi said, leading the way. Instead of running like a person normally, she ran like a cat instead, literally, with both her hands and legs.
Ine giggled, thinking that Shiraishi was cute like this as she followed after.
“Way to go with the Acting Alice, Kiriya-san, and with that attack with the Telekinesis Alice, Shiraishi!”
“Phew… ” Ine let out a sigh of relief then made a thumbs up to Aoi and Shiraishi. ”Good Job”
Aoi and Shiraishi did a highfive, smiling at each other. “Distract and hit, we’ll make a great pair, Shiraishi-san!”
“ Yeah! You said it!”
“I knew it though, we can’t rely on the academy just yet, huh?!”
“Yeah, but now we totally lost the car, with all these roads leading to different directions,” Shiraishi said as all four to stopped to look around.
“We have to find a way to track that car.”
“Guess we don’t have any other choice, then,” Shiraishi said, taking out a tiny green stone from her pocket. She concentrated, taking the stone close to her chest.
“Promise me you guys won’t laugh!” Shiraishi angrily requested… more like, ordered, as she bared her fangs towards the others with a frown. A pair of two yellow dog-ears popped up from her head, as well as whiskers appearing over her cheeks. Lastly, a yellow tail flicked out from the back of her skirt.
“This Alice is as embarrassing as ever...” Shiraishi said shyly, almost closing her fingers; her hands were gestured like cat-paws. Her cheeks painted vividly pink by embarrassment, but she still held a cranky face, it seemed that she even grew longer fangs. There weren’t anyone at this section of the streets, so she felt safer using the Alice here. Shiraishi usually doesn’t care when people stares at her, it only matters when she uses this embarrassing Alice.
”They look good on you Shiraishi-san” Ine smiled.
Shouta simply stared at Shiraishi, dumbfounded. S-S-She’s… so cute! What’s with those ears and that tail!?
Aoi’s eyes went starry. “You look cu- wait, what are you even doing?!”
“Agh! They don’t, nyaa!” Shiraishi spat out at Aoi and Ine. “A-Anyway! I can now track Reo and his goons with my sense of scent as long as this Alice lasts nyaa.”
“Oh no they look amazing on you!” Aoi remarked, ignoring her statement of denial. I’ll make sure to take many pictures after all this is over!! Aoi thought, her eyes still starry, but as she backtracked the words she heard from Shiraishi, her expression turned serious again. It was no time to be fooling around.
“I-i-i-i-is that so…? I-is that a-another Alice?” Shouta stuttered as he spoke to Shiraishi. He couldn’t help himself, he was at a loss for words at her appearance. Even her manner of speech; she started talking like a cat. It was just so cute to him.
“I-It’s a gift from my old senpai who’s a High School student currently. Now let me concentrate nyaa!” Shiraishi bent down to the floor on all four, her tail strangely curled upwards; rolling up - comparable to that of a dog’s tail. She sniffed the air like a cat would, and tried to track Reo’s scent from the air.
”Nyaa?” Ine tilted her head. The cat-dog Alice sure was funny she thought.
“I can’t speak in a different manner other than this when I use this Alice, nyaa! Cards and Hugs abound

As Shiraishi and the others sought the black limousine throughout the city, they ran past many dark alleyways, houses, and countless shops. They no longer used the roads to go after the vehicle.
“So how do getting an Alice as gift from a senpai even work?!” Aoi asked while running with the others.
“It’s an Alice Stone, nyaa!”
“An Alice Stone is something you make with your Alice, Aoi-san” Ine answered, too, “and if someone’s Alice Stone matches with your… what was it called? Wavelength I think, then you can use that Alice through it’s Alice Stone.”
“I see,” Shouta said. Sounds like useful stuff. I-I wonder if Shiraishi and my wavelengths would match...
“That’s the gist of it nyaa! Every Alice are different, so everyone’s Alice stones got varying wavelengths you got that?! It’s how it works nyaa!” Shiraishi explained, then looked forward. “We’re almost there nyaa! The scent doesn’t seem like it’s wafting away anymore, it’s getting stronger and stronger. They must be stuck on road nyaa!”
“So they did get caught in a traffic jam?!”
“Well, that’s convenient.” Shouta was able to get a second wind after Shiraishi’s transformation. His breathing was more stable, and he was ready again for a confrontation, or, if necessary, another jump with the rabbit shoes.
”Lucky!” Ine said continuing to run.
Shiraishi said while running forward. “After we take that turn to the left, we should find them nyaa!”
“Nyaa?!” a yelp could be heard right after Shiraishi turned to the left.
Just as Aoi, Ine and Shouta ran and turned to the left as well, they found the black limousine. As well as Shiraishi, completely having her arms locked by a blond man in black.
It was a trap.
The road was devoid of traffics, save for the limousine.
“Mmm!” The man covered her nose and mouth with a thick white handkerchief. Her hands soon fell down, unable to protest. She passed out. Her dog-ears, whiskers, and tail disappeared, even her fangs reverted to normal.
“Shiraishi!” Shouta yelled out. “Grr… Bastard…” His anger was rising by the second. He was ready at any time to explode and rush towards the man and brawl with him, but he didn’t want to put Shiraishi in harm’s way.
“Did you brats really think you could outsmart us?”
“We never intended to. We just wanted to kick your ass and get our friend back!” Shouta threatened as he clenched his fists tightly.
”What did you do to her?” Ine said in disbelief.
Aoi gasped. So it was too good to be true after all. Damn it… !! I should’ve thought better! Aoi cringed hard, before she could use her Alice, she saw Reo standing behind the man in black. Aoi frowned at his appearance. “I wonder how your fans would react if they knew that you do such dirty work in the shadows!”

Reo calmly continued, “I don’t do this for the fans, I do this for my boss.”

“H-Hello, you guys there?!” Aoi suddenly spoke out through the group’s snake-shaped earrings.
“Yeah, we’re actually going to class now, that Reo-san vanished, we had no more reason to stay there, so we’re sneaking out,” said Amelia, to the Aoi who contacted her all of a sudden, asking where they are.
“I have no time to explain, but!” Aoi begun, apparently in a hurry, noises of footsteps could be heard; they were running. “Ichigo was kidnapped by Reo-san!”
“Eh?! What do you mean?” said Hyuuga Aoi, tilting her head, unable to face the sudden gravity of the situation as it developed rapidly. Just as the group was about to go down the stairs now, they could hear running noises from below, she assumed it was Shouta and the others down there.
“Reo-sama is… a kidnapper?! This can’t be!”
“We mean what we said! It’s true!”
“Assuming this is true… They haven’t left the academy yet… we should stop them!”
“We’re going after them. Go tell the authorities about it while you guys can!”
“Right, we’re on it!”
The communications were cut off. “So as soon as he disappeared from the room, he made way for Hoshimiya-san?” Aoi said, putting pieces of the puzzle together in her mind.
“That… is probably what happened, he most likely used Instant Teleportation Alice somehow.”
“I think I know what’s going on, and it’s a pretty ugly mess. Hoshimiya-san needs to be brought back, or else her life will be in danger! We’re hurrying to the authorities in the headquarters of the academy guys! Run for it!”
“Okay, though why would Reo-san kidnap Hoshimiya-san?” Sakura asked as started running behind the others.
“I’ll explain after I get a hold of the ride!”
“Ride?”
“It… can’t be what I think it is, right?”
“Oh it’s exactly what you think it is.”
”Can’t you guys just say what it is without keeping us in the dark!?”
”They’ll explain once it’s clear. Just follow what they said for now!”
The group now stood outside the hospital. Guards surrounded the group instantly as they exited. “Sorry, but we don’t have the time,” a strange noise could be heard.
“As if! We’re capturing you all for breaking the rules and entering the hospital while Mouri-sama was inside!”
The noise got closer and louder by the second. It sounded more like a voice then a simple noise.
As the men looked up in awe, the gigantic strange beast came down from the sky; landing abruptly. To be more precise, it was a plant-like creature. It looked grotesque, evil, monstrous, and had a large gaping mouth with fangs hanging out from it. It possessed seemingly black woods and vines, and had four wings in it’s back.
“I know it’s nothing beautiful, but… get on,” Amelia hopped over the strange creature that could scare away almost anyone from it - the guards sure were scared - as it leaned it’s head down for the others to hop on.
“So you called this after all… ” Hyuuga Aoi sighed, then leapt over, sat behind Amelia. “You three, come up! It’s harmless despite it’s appearance right now.”[/b]
”A-Are you sure?” Sakura asked not really sure if she could really believe them. To her it looked like something that came straight out of a horror movie.
“That thing is… sorta scary!” Maya said, completely lost her composure. Actually, she may have lost it ever since she heard the rumor about Reo, but no one bothered to enlighten her.
”That’s probably not Reo that they’re talking about, Chiyoda-san. It’s probably someone with a mimic Alice, copies Reo’s form and kidnaps people in order to make people think that Reo is a bad person. Besides, we did saw Reo and I did managed to take a picture of him, right?” Ing tried to enlighten her and he continued. ”Interesting ride you have here,” Ing said as he quickly hop on the strange looking beast. ”You’ll have to explain about this to me once we’re out of heat.”
”I-It better be harmless!” Sakura said as she got on the strange creature. ”Kouzuki-san, I think you need try and get Chiyoda-san on here somehow.”
”Come here, Chiyoda-san.” Ing reached out his hand for Maya, willing to help her get on the strange creature. ”It’s harmless, don’t be afraid. Just take my hand.”
“Umm, o-okay… ”

“Hoshimiya-san has power Alices, the anti-Alice Academy organizations are all after her because of that,” Amelia explained. “So that’s why her life is in danger!”
“Hypothetically speaking, wouldn’t they keep her alive after getting her, for her Alice?”
“Yes! But in Hoshimiya-san’s case it’s different.”
”Why would her case be different from others?
”It’s because her Alice is very powerful… it’s just a rumor from what I knew, but it seems to be the truth..”
“Because she is special.”
“They usually do some kinda hypnosis or use mind manipulation Alice to control the people that refuses to join them.”
“However in Hoshimiya-san’s case… ”
“She is told to commit suicide if she loses every chance of fighting back!”
”Why does she have to do something crazy like that?”

“Hey! Heeey! Kiriyaaaa!!” Aoi could hear something, but she felt too lazy to open her eyes.
“Lemme sleep a little longer… ”
“Ki-ri-ya! Wake up!”
“EH?! Ah, where am-”
“Shhhhh!”
Aoi stopped before she could finish her sentence. “Good morning, Shiraishi-san. Where are we?”
“It isn’t morning! And I don’t know, I just woke up too. It seems like we were brought to a warehouse. Turns out those shameless bastards kidnapped us too!”
Ine and Shouta were fast asleep behind Shiraishi, probably due to the effects of the drugs used on them. Shouta was directly behind Shiraishi. In fact, his body was tightly lumped with her in the small space. She wriggled her fingers around, and lightly pushed with her body in hopes that Shouta would wake up, despite being unable to do so properly due to the ropes that kept her bound.
“Mmnn… ” Shouta writhed in his unconscious state for a few seconds before awakening. “Ah!” he looked around in surprise. The last thing he remembered was going for the throat of Reo, then falling unconscious. Now, he was tied down in a dark area with Shiraishi, Ine and Aoi. “...Damnit…” He groaned.
He noticed Ine near him, still unconscious. The other two were up. As Shouta tried to prod Ine awake, he asked the others. “Either of you know where we are?”
”No papa… there’s no way I could eat so much ramen” Ine said half asleep.
“With all these cargo boxes, I’d assume that we were brought to a warehouse,” Aoi whispered to Shouta, not sure if he could even hear her. “There is a high probability that we’re close to the sea.”
“That… doesn’t sound good.”
“Are these guys Yakuza members or something…?” Shouta assumed, calling upon movie knowledge. He knew in American movies, mobs would sometimes dispose of people by making them †˜sleep with the fishes’.
Ine tried to rub her eyes as she woke up, but couldn’t as her hands were tied. ”Eh?” Ine said confused, “what happened?”
“It appears that we got kidnapped too, Akizuki-san,” Aoi said, disheartened. “Wait… not good?”
“If the rumors are true, they say that some evil organization collects Alices however they can, and they transport them via sea, or air. It means that we’re all in big trouble!”
“Really!? Holy crap. So these were some of the †˜wrong hands’ Amelia was talking about…” Shouta began struggling to get out of his binds, even knocking and rubbing himself against objects to at least release his hands.
“We have to think of a way out real fast… ”
Ine nodded her head, she did not like the sound of the organisation, to her they sounded like bullies. The movement made her notice something behind her, or to be more precise tied tightly to her. ”Ichigo!” she called out in surprise and joy.
“Wait! Ichigo is here?! I’m so glad!” Aoi said, giving a deep sigh of relief.
“Her breathing is normal right now, thank goodness!”
“Great, now all we need to do is get out of here with her!”
Just as Ine called out to the sleeping Ichigo, everyone heard advancing noises of footsteps.
“Guys, pretend to sleep for now!” Aoi closed her eyes shut as soon as she said so.
Ine followed suit, closing her eyes and snoring lightly. She was slightly worried that she might fall asleep for real, though.
Shouta stopped where he was, and laid unmoving. Behind his back, he still discreetly tried to free his hands.
“Well, they up yet?”
“Nope, sound asleep the lot of them.”
“I thought I heard something from there.”
“One of them is snoring, so maybe that.”
“Perhaps.”
The man walked away, sighing. “Cut me some slack already, kidnapping kids instead of those high school babes, today is a bad, bad day!” said the black bald man as his shadow slowly crept away from view.
“We have to be more silent… ”
“You can say that again. Akizuki-san, you were too loud earlier!” Shiraishi said, blaming her.
Ine gave a half-hearted laugh. ”Sorry, Sorry” she said, repentant.
“Man, that was too damn close.” Shouta sighed deeply.

“Mmnn… ” Shouta writhed in his unconscious state for a few seconds before awakening. “Ah!” he looked around in surprise. The last thing he remembered was going for the throat of Reo, then falling unconscious. Now, he was tied down in a dark area with Shiraishi, Ine and Aoi. “...Damnit…” He groaned.
He noticed Ine near him, still unconscious. The other two were up. As Shouta tried to prod Ine awake, he asked the others. “Either of you know where we are?”
”No papa… there’s no way I could eat so much ramen” Ine said half asleep.
“With all these cargo boxes, I’d assume that we were brought to a warehouse,” Aoi whispered to Shouta, not sure if he could even hear her. “There is a high probability that we’re close to the sea.”
“That… doesn’t sound good.”
“Are these guys Yakuza members or something…?” Shouta assumed, calling upon movie knowledge. He knew in American movies, mobs would sometimes dispose of people by making them †˜sleep with the fishes’.
Ine tried to rub her eyes as she woke up, but couldn’t as her hands were tied. ”Eh?” Ine said confused, “what happened?”
“It appears that we got kidnapped too, Akizuki-san,” Aoi said, disheartened. “Wait… not good?”
“If the rumors are true, they say that some evil organization collects Alices however they can, and they transport them via sea, or air. It means that we’re all in big trouble!”
“Really!? Holy crap. So these were some of the †˜wrong hands’ Amelia was talking about…” Shouta began struggling to get out of his binds, even knocking and rubbing himself against objects to at least release his hands.
“We have to think of a way out real fast… ”
Ine nodded her head, she did not like the sound of the organisation, to her they sounded like bullies. The movement made her notice something behind her, or to be more precise tied tightly to her. ”Ichigo!” she called out in surprise and joy.
“Wait! Ichigo is here?! I’m so glad!” Aoi said, giving a deep sigh of relief.
“Her breathing is normal right now, thank goodness!”
“Great, now all we need to do is get out of here with her!”
Just as Ine called out to the sleeping Ichigo, everyone heard advancing noises of footsteps.
“Guys, pretend to sleep for now!” Aoi closed her eyes shut as soon as she said so.
Ine followed suit, closing her eyes and snoring lightly. She was slightly worried that she might fall asleep for real, though.
Shouta stopped where he was, and laid unmoving. Behind his back, he still discreetly tried to free his hands.
“Well, they up yet?”
“Nope, sound asleep the lot of them.”
“I thought I heard something from there.”
“One of them is snoring, so maybe that.”
“Perhaps.”
The man walked away, sighing. “Cut me some slack already, kidnapping kids instead of those high school babes, today is a bad, bad day!” said the black bald man as his shadow slowly crept away from view.
“We have to be more silent… ”
“You can say that again. Akizuki-san, you were too loud earlier!” Shiraishi said, blaming her.
Ine gave a half-hearted laugh. ”Sorry, Sorry” she said, repentant.
“Man, that was too damn close.” Shouta sighed deeply.

Cards and Hugs abound
(This is a joint post between Cinia Pacifica, BlinkXPoke, and BagMan.)
“I know that I shouldn’t be doing this, but, Akizuki-san, please try to wake Ichigo up.”
”But… she’s sick” Ine said unwilling to do as Aoi said
“We know that much, thank you!”
“It’s a state of emergency, we’ll have to come up with a plan, and I feel like Ichigo should be awakened for this, too. I know it’s selfish of me to make such a request, but… ” Aoi gulped before she continued. “We might just need her Alice.”
Ine looked at Aoi accusingly. She sighed and began poking Ichigo, softly saying her name.
“Mn… I wanna have more rice balls… ” Ichigo mumbled, still indulging her dreams, she slowly opened her eyes due to all the poking from Ine. “... Where am I?” Ichigo asked as her red pupils looked in every directions calmly; analytically. “A cargo house?”
“It’s called a warehouse, Ichigo.”
“Ah, right, Aoi! I almost forgot!”
“You mean you forgot, not almost forgot!” Aoi responded, frowning.
Ichigo opened her mouth, but then realized that her hands were bound before she yawned. “Eh? Wait, what are you all doing here?”
“Long story short, Ichigo. We were all kidnapped.”
“Ehh?!” Ichigo surprisingly kept her voice low now.
“It’s true, Hoshimiya-san, we’re all in deep trouble.”
Shouta sighed in relief. “Well, at least you look okay.” He looked over at Aoi, and asked. “You said you had a plan, right? And you needed Hoshimiya-san?”
“Yeah, I think we might need her Vocal Enchantme-”
“It’s so… hot here...” Ichigo said, suddenly her breathing sounded rather erratic.
Ine cringed when she heard this.
“Ichigo! Are you alright?!”
“Mn! I’ll be just fine, Aoi!”
”Spoke too soon…” He complained to himself. “Are you okay? You’re sweating a lot!”
“Yeah, I’m alright... It’s just really hot in here… ” Ichigo said, making a forced smile.
“Hoshimiya-san… ”
Ine understood that smile all too well, having used it lots before, but she said nothing of it. ”If you say so…” she said, worried about her friend.
Aoi’s eyes was teary, but she held her emotions back desperately; frowning with a determined expression. “Alright. I know it’s a strange way to do it, but Shiraishi-san. I want to make a request.”
“What is it?”
“Use your… tongue to press on the snake-earring transmitter on my ear,” Aoi said, turning her head in a way that revealed the earring.
“Eh? I’ll give it a shot, but I see what you’re trying to do, I forgot that we even had these!” Shiraishi said, then tried to lean her head forward.
After some struggling, she was able to press onto the device with her device - albeit barely - it worked.
“Hello?” When Aoi spoke, all the snake-earring transmitters were now activated, others would be able to speak through without having to manually activate the device by pressing on it.
“Hey, where the heck are you guys?!! They can’t even track you guys anymore!” Amelia’s loud voice rang out from the other side, making everyone feel dizzy for a moment, except for Ichigo, who didn’t have the voice transmitting device. Instead, Ichigo leaned her head towards Ine’s earring, and pressed her ear towards it, to listen to the voice from the other side.
“What the hell happened?!”
“We were all kidnapped, we tried chasing the vehicle that carried Ichigo, but they outsmarted us and got us instead. I hate to say it, but it was an obvious trap that we didn’t consider about… ”
“I know that I shouldn’t be doing this, but, Akizuki-san, please try to wake Ichigo up.”
