((OOC: Lol, you guys, the italicized writing showing the actual thoughts of the character has definitely been done before, and I believe it's one of the normal things in writing. You don't really need to bother pointing that out.))
"I thank all of you for coming to my party this evening and enjoying yourselves here until it's end. Although, all of you may take your time and enjoy yourselves for chatter and laughter before you take your leave; food will still be served and the music by the band of musicians will continue to be played until the hall is devoid of all of you, my favoured guests. Thank you, once again!", my body was wrapped in black, dark cloths. My long gloves reach up to almost my bare shoulders; although a party dress, I simply love wearing attires of said colour. Even with my height, I'm quite certain that my presence is rather spine-chilling to even these people.
As I finished my speech and received a round of applause from the guests. My lips curved and stretched wide to portray a smile on my face. I turn back and step down from the immensely decorated stage, and went to a certain circle of people amidst my guests. The people in that little group of friends contained some of the government officials... and the main founder of Fakku City himself.
"You called?" I inquired, my smile was still intact in my face. I wave my hands towards the band and they nod slightly and return to their duty of playing the violins, and other classical instruments. A melody that I truly love began to reverberate in the hall of my dark and ominous mansion - it is mostly dark because of all the black-ish dark paint used to paint it's thick and hard walls - and I close my eyes for a moment to feel the harmony that the sublime music contained.
Jacob took about five minutes to explain the current situation that occurred in the research facility that is location in this section of the city, but quite farther away, this was thirty minutes before the zombie outbreak became official. It was almost 7:30 pm right about this moment. Apparently the experiment that he had the researchers and scientists conducting had a certain problem in it, more so, that facility wasn't the only place with such an issue. They obviously deemed their current experiment safe and made the foolish mistake. Jacob seemed to be profusely sweating in absolute tension; serves him right, you reap what you sow, they say. He requested me to make yet another announcement regarding the zombies; somehow he really thinks that us wealthy people should really survive the tragedy of tonight to lend a helping hand to the poor people tomorrow... or something like that.
I felt disappointed towards the weave of fate and a bit of frustration towards what I was asked to do,
My lovely music... or a request that that I barely care about fulfilling? I thought. After I pondered for a moment, I looked at Jacob who seemed to have a lot of thoughts going on in his mind, at the same time showing a face that is about to cry from all the pressure of responsibility due to having to handle an enormous situation of such gravity. I reluctantly nodded; feeling pity, and just walked up to the stage once more. It seemed that my guests found it quite odd as I did this, which was proven to me by the increasing amount of silence from them. I shift my gave towards the audience after my short walk to the stage's center and my gaze soon fell upon them, as if showing nothing but pity.
"My dear guests, it is quite unfortunate but... " and so my explanation to the situation began.

My announcement included not just the situation regarding the starting apocalypse of zombies, but also more information that I received from Jacob; that such an experiment was being conducted in research facilities all over the world, it was originally a secret joint project done by many organizations all over the world, exactly reasons were not mentioned - even to me - but people weren't stupid enough to be unable to figure the answer out regardless, I had ended my speech by explaining that some expensive planes that provided more than just a seat for the passengers were booked; along with some seats from ordinary planes' seats, for all the guests that have come here. People seemed slightly relieved by this piece of information, lastly, I ended it by closing my eyes and muttering to them...
"I wish you all good luck."
After the screams, panic and all the running... in less than 10 minutes, the hall that was filled with people as my guests were... devoid of people. The musicians were gone - this made me sigh is disappointment. Jacob took leave for the airport, apparently he had a nice airplane ready for him and the other administers. How very nice. Apparently I was to go to a plane held some of higher officials. Apparently it's the luxurious one, too, so I'm perfectly fine with just accepting the offer. I've rode such planes before, a few times. They have rooms for the passengers, with a bed or two in there... this would be almost unbelievable back in about 50 or so years ago, I think. Albeit it's costly for commoners - who barely gets to experience boarding these airplanes - they cater towards comfort quite a lot.
I sighed again, then turned on the large TV that was hung up in the walls of the hall, portraits hung on the opposite side to it. It was past 8:00 pm by now and the news had already started reporting about the outbreak that I was told of a while ago. The reporters themselves seemed panicked and had sweat running down their skin from time to time. As I went in on a reverie, I had a thought about this, the zombies were created from the use of a certain gene that had driven them mad to the very core, or so Jacob and I both guessed - once they bite anyone, the victim is infected and thus also turned into a zombie after a while; the rate at which one transforms depends on the wound received from the bite; just in case, I should really avoid dicing these creatures up. I was also told that Jacob lost contact with Nikon today... the one who was one of the leading scientists in the experiment. I believe it's safe to assume that he's one of them now, even though Jacob thinks he's safe and sound, he was in that lab, after all.
I made way to my room after turning the TV off. I'm pretty sure that even my drivers and guards had ran away by now, no use in thinking of getting a huge luggage now; my belongings will have to be abandoned, for now at least. Hence I took up a black backpack, it has it's share of frills. I put a few rations in it and... a make-up box. Out of all the things... I couldn't help it! Ahem... I also made sure to have a few valuables that would surely come in handy, including items from the first-aid kit. And lastly, the syringes that contained the vengeful yet useful drugs in them. Though I'd usually avoid using them, I might just have a use for these things this time. I closed the backpack with my belongings, then took up a dress that was similar, it's devoid of the frills but it's more comfortable; though it had a short skirt,
"I don't think my skirt should exactly be long if I'm gonna wield that thing that is waiting for me to pick it up over there... " I pulled up a different pair of knee-socks and tied the pure black ribbons on my hair after putting up my hair into a twin-tail. The biggest reason why I'm changing is that these cloths are actually bullet-proof... though the vicious strength of the zombies may be able tear them apart, or they can still maul at my exposed skin, but it's still an assuring measure. Then I took up the sheathed broad sword and slid it my back... I somehow fitted it between my backpack and my back, then loosened the tightness of my backpack, and finally, I took in my cell phone into my pocket.
All set for the bloody, crimson waltz that awaits me~ such a thought passed by my mind as I giggled with a grin for a moment. How long has it been since I wielded this heavy thing, anyway? I'm not quite certain anymore. But my excitement spiked above and a smirk formed upon the thought of having the chance of kill.
Even if I do escape from the zombies here. I'm certain that I'll get to kill some of them at one point of time, now that it has come to this, as I thought that, I walked out of my room and then to the garden outside my mansion. As I suspected, it is confirmed that the people I've hired are long gone, as if they'd stick around out of loyalty, people cares about their life more than anything. I tapped a button on the remote control in my hand and the iron gates of my mansion slowly opened up. It's a remote used for lights, gates and such for my mansion, pretty neat. I turned around for a moment as if to say farewell to my humble mansion that served me to stay here well and then tapped a certain button once again. The lights turned off, all of them. Then I put it back into one of my pockets and walked off.
My destination is the airport. Judging from the location of the zombie outbreak, I should first be going north, then west towards the bridge - soon after, a bit north to the airport... that should be the safest way to go about this. I can't really run with all of this, especially the sword, plus I'm not usually fond of running. Thus, my walk towards the airport begins.
