((OCC : This is a joint post between Gahald_Mills and Katsucha.))
While running towards none of the zombies around Kotori and Uther really got close to them as they where being shot down by the police. As they got closer to the gate. Kotori stop looking around for an easier spot to get through the crowd. After not finding one she tried to go through the crowds to get to the gates.
Uther, who was behind Kotori looked at her going through the crowds with ease. Wow, smaller bodies do come in useful Uther thought to him self as he waited for Kotori. I'll just wait for her to return. I wonder why won't the police just let the crowd in? Is it already full inside the airport? No way! Uther shakes his head.
Kotori was able to push through crowd with a lot more ease than she expected. Though she didn't expect she would leave Uther behind. "Uther where are you!" Kotori screamed as she tried her best so her voice can be heard over the loud crowd.
"Huh? I think I now that voice. KOTORI!" Uther shouted at the place where he heard Kotori's voice. For a small girl, she has a loud voice. Uther laughs and began to push through the crowds. "KOTORI! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Uther shouted as hard as he can once more while pushing through the noisy impatient crowd.
As Kotori tried to hear over the crowds she thought she heard Uther voice."Uther come this way" Kotori screamed as loud as she could but then cough a bit since she wasn't really accustom to screaming.
Uther followed the scream, with a cough at the end of it. He did one big push while looking down and saw Kotori who were coughing. "Oh there you are." Uther said to Kotori as he stood on his knees and gave her a towel that he brought from the car. "Are you alright?" Uther asked.
Kotori looked at Uther a bit surprise still not accustom on the way he has been treating her. "Im fine" Kotori said as she turn around and walk towards the police guards.
Uther followed her to the police guards. I'll tell her when we are really safe. Uther said to him self again.
"Stop right there where to you think your going" One of the police guards told Kotori as she approached closer to the gates.
Kotori reached into her bag quickly and then pulled out her ID when the guard saw this he was a bit taken back. "The man behind me is with me he is my parterner on a current mission we are currently in." Kotori said as she put her ID away.
The guard took a quick look at Uther who was a behind Kotori and then signals to other guards to let them through.
"Uther lets go" Kotori said as she walked through the gates.
Uther, who was keeping his poker face on as he walked through the gates with Kotori. Finally, safe, for now Uther thought to him self yet again. Uther wanted to ask something, but he hold it in. For now, they are looking for a place to finally rest.
"Lets head into one the planes we should be able to get in." Kotori said as she started to run into the airport.
"Hey, wait!" Uther ran after Kotori in to the airport.
GM notes:
Gahald_Mills: Uther decides to push through the crowd along with Kotori in order to get to the guards. His strength attribute will be tested by the dice, 5 is required to pass.
Dice result: 3 3 + 3 = 6
(Your character is able to get through the crowd at a steady pace. However, Kotori moves too fast and she is lost from your character's sight for a moment... but you find your way back to her somehow after she calls out to you.)
Katsucha: Kotori decides to push through the crowd to the airport along with Uther, to get to the guards of the airport. A dice will be rolled to test her Strength attribute, 5 is required to pass.
Dice results:6 2 + 6 = 8
(Your character makes too fast into the crowd and Uther is left behind. As your character reaches the gate, you cannot see Uther behind you. Bonus: When you shout out for Uther, he seems to hear you and is somehow finding his way to you.)
Kotori decides to persuade to persuade the police to take Uther with her after she shows her I.D to the police for clearance. A dice is to be rolled to test her Social attribute to see if she can convince the police, 4 is required.

(Your character is able to convince the police after saying that Uther is your character's important companion, thus the police thinks it's better for a military student's partner to help her out in whatever mission she has in a situation such as this. Little does he know that your character's only mission is to get to safety.)

Iteyui sighed before replying. "I just need someone to accompany me, or someone I can accompany in this journey of mine, regardless of standing. I just want someone that I can talk to and open up whenever I'm angry or sad. But I guess that would be too sudden and inappropiate for someone on such a high standing like you... It's just that I've been alone for a long while now and it would be just great to have a friend. Since you're younger and all, I'll do whatever I can to protect and possibly take care of you, I can take care of myself pretty well as I've been doing all these years. You don't need to worry about me, I can handle my part pretty well, and soon I'll have to take yours either.."
"I need anything I can get that can be used for combat, since I do not have adequete experience with this,"[/color] Iteyui smiled as she looked over to her weapon. "I'll definitely be using near-combat more often, but also I'll not hesitate to shoot if it's necessary."
"Of course, I took the express subway, and had to fight my way through crowds..."
"I'm sure you'll be able to face those monsters soon enough," Iteyui assured Hilda exaggeratingly, before hesitating to ask:
"May I know what has taken the flight so long to take off....?"
"Are you sure about that? Last time I opened up to someone, it ended terribly. Unfortunately, I'm not the type of person who likes to open up easy. But that's just me, you're welcome to accompany me. But I'm just bad with all the friendship and everything that surrounds it. It's kind of hard to open up to people, unfortunately. Though, I don't mind you taking care of me. I'm quite bad with that part actually, though I don't know about you taking my part as well, and you'll know why one day, maybe.
Hilda slowly reaches out for the remote to turn on the TV, "Oh, crowd. I avoided those through jumping up the walls of the park. I had a feeling that the roads would be crowded."
Hilda then listened to more of Iteyui's words and articulated her reply: "They probably realized that some higher up people didn't get on board, ones without whom Fakku City would have problem without. I think. For example, Nikon is missing. The administration is having lots of problems without these important people safe and sound.
Hilda then turned the TV on, apparently they're running out of ships in the Harbor soon. This was expected by Hilda. The same will probably happen soon in the airport. She looked towards the window as she spoke, almost as if speaking to herself, [color=#90D0A0A]"I wonder if they're about to fall short here soon as well.[/color]
"Well, then I'll just open up to you first. I think it's up to you to decide whether to open up to me or not... I will respect your decision regardless."
Iteyui stood rooted to the seat and only could look out of the window from where she was. Airplanes and jets were strewn everywhere, like parking where they wanted to.
"It's dangerous to jump up walls..." Iteyui ponders for a bit. "And who is this... Nikon?"
"The other guy maintaining things around here other than Jacob. Though he's mostly a scientist he was working on the experiment that brought these zombies about. I was hoping to get some information from him. Too bad no one knows if he's even alive anymore," Hilda ponders to herself about it after saying so. Lost in thought.
Soon, another phone call rang as her cell phone started to vibrate. Hilda listened to Jacob - who called again - for a few minutes, she seemed to only nod and make slight sounds in response to whatever he said, and then ended the call. "Seems like we're going off right when it hits 12:00 am. Which is like three minutes later. They couldn't get important people in on this plane in the end. Instead, they took up people of lower class like you fill up the space. Which sounds like a good decision. Oh and I'm afraid Jacob also said that the city we're going to already is facing zombies, apparently. Though he doesn't want everyone to know about this, he thinks it's better for me to know... weird guy. He probably thinks that he can't keep order upon his citizens, at this rate."
Hilda heaved a sigh, she felt a bit anxious about all this.

I yawn a little bit, as the two were finishing up their meals, and a little uneaten bit of paper falls from my mouth. I close my book, and get up, stretching my limbs a bit. I walk over to the bunk beds, and look over my shoulder.
"I'm heading to bed now Kris and Satoru.", as I finish saying that, I climb up into the top bunk.
As I get myself comfortable underneath the covers, I undress myself; carelessly tossing my clothes onto the floor of the cabin.
"Good night.", I say as I drift into a hazy fuzz that is pre-sleep.

Kris wasn't surprised to hear Kahori's answer. She wasn't like a normal girl, at least not like the ones that he was used to. Her mind was a labyrinth that anyone but her would get lost in. That alone could make her a valuable member of the team. Once he learned to completely understand her. But just as he had wanted to start the conversation she went to sleep throwing her clothes around the cabin. Shaking his head Kris responded, “Goodnight.” And Satoru waved her off feeling a little tired himself.
Now that the small talk was out of the way however it was time to get down to business. Their small group of three was safe for the moment, but if things took a turn for the worst they needed a plan. Things like combat roles, back up plans, and dividing up ammunition and rations would need to be taken into a account. And while they were in a safe zone the needed to get as much as they could. Kris knew that since he had two fire arms and military supplies he would be the front lines. Which Kris was completely fine with. It meant that he could keep the group quiet by limiting the amount of shots he fired. “Alright I think its time we get our battle strategy set,” said Kris looking to his companion at the table. “I’m assuming that you plan to stay with us right Satoru?”
Satoru wasn’t sure where else he could go. And if he was needed here that was all he needed to know. He had set out with helping people in mind, and this was just a good as place as any to start. Nodding he continued to listen to Kris speak.
“Then that makes things a lot easier on us,” answered Kris. “When we are out and about I will take point. Kahori will be in the middle. With you Satoru bringing up the rear,” explained Kris. This way Kris only had to worry about keeping the front of them in mind, and with his eye he was better suited keeping a close eye for possible followers. Kris looked around to make sure everyone was keeping up before moving on. “So you mainly want me on babysitter duty?” asked Satoru. “Yes at close range you have a quiet weapon for dealing with zombies on the spot. Mine can be a bit loud if it has trouble cutting through something, but that rarely happens,” answered Kris.
“If for some reason we get stranded at night we will break our way into the closest building and clear it. Of anything. Zombies won’t be our only worry. In times like this people themselves can become monsters,” he said. That part referred to what happened to Kahori. In her short time outside she has experienced her fair share of human cruelty. Seeing people leaving an injured girl to die merely to save their own skin was pathetic. He decided to mention the rations if the time came up. Leaving someone to starve was never a nice topic when trying to keep up morale.
Satoru was feeling a bit fatigued after everything that happened that day, and seeing that the conversation was about done he wanted to get some sleep in."Hey I'm goign to get a nap in" said Satoru. Kris however was on a night schedule and this was pretty much the afternoon for him. "I'll keep watch you get some sleep." advised Kris. Placing the guns on the table he began to clean them and make sure everything was in working order. The gun that Satoru gave him was fine. But the one he received from Kahori needed a little bit of work. Cleaning it out quickly he put it back together before checking the ammo counts. One was full and the other was at about half a clip. It could hold only 15 shots but since the parts were interchangeable he could increase it should he find another gun somewhere.

After getting into the airport, Kotori understood why they aren't letting all the people outside come in here, as many people still tried to board the planes from inside, allowed them all to come in would cause disorder as people would fight and quarrel among each other for their own safety.
"Whoa. The last time I was here, it wasn't very lively here. Now, because of the recent chaos, everyone wanted to get out of the island," Uther uttered as he followed Kotori. I'm so hungry... I wonder if the stores are open? Uther pondered, looking around.
"Uther, hurry up! If you stay behind now, I won't go around looking for you this time," Kotori declared; heading towards the secured entrance. Once there, one of the police guards stopped Kotori.
"What do you think you are doing, little girl? And what weapon are you carrying?" before he proceeded any further, Kotori whipped out her I.D - which almost surprised him - then showed it. "I'm very sorry! Please proceed," the guard gave a salute, after which, he took out a walkie talkie to tell them to let me through.
"Also, let them know the man behind me is going to be with me," Kotori pointed behind her back towards Uther while passing through the door.
Uther smiled at the guards and continued on with Kotori, "Thank you, Kotori. I wouldn't pass the guards if it weren't for you," Uther responded to Kotori's actions as he followed her in to a hallway. "This should take us to the plane, right?" Uther asked.
"Yes, since we'll be avoiding all the lines. Only staff have access through this doors normally," Kotori said as she asked around which plane still had some room left open.
That reminds me. Uther opened his bag, taking out some crackers. He ate a few and offered some to Kotori. "You should eat," Uther offered to Kotori, handing out the packet of crackers.
Asking the staff members regarding the available flights scheduled, Kotori gave a terse reply, "Not now," after which an announcement followed about a plane taking passengers just a few docks down from where they were, and that it'd be leaving at about 12:00 am. "Lets go, Uther, before that plane gets full," Kotori began hurrying to the plane.
Uther followed Kotori to the said plane. Not many people were running to the plane. Maybe it was because they already have a plane to get in to. Weird, oh well Uther murmured within his mind. At the departure lounge, He didn't expect what he saw. It was a very large plane. Never saw it before his entire life. Plane for higher ups? What happened to them? "Where's the entrance? I don't see any. "
"Uther what are you standing there for? Get over here!" Kotori exclaimed, entering the passage to board the plane.
Uther heard the voice, then followed Kotori. Finally, we're getting out of this island.

Now that Cliff was actually able to see the crowd at the harbor and the beaming flashlights scattering around, he suddenly grabbed onto Christine's hand and began a light jog towards the crowd.
"We're almost there Christine!" Cliff called out to Christine. It wasn't long before the two of them reached the barricade that was set up, and once the policemen saw that they were of no danger, they were immediately let through. It seemed that their priority was getting them into the harbor and into safety.
After being pushed into the area, both he and Christine found themselves in a massive sea of people. It was hot and sweaty, and the entire area was simply full of noise and tension. Everyone looked scared and lost. After looking around for a bit, Cliff heard someone call out to him. It sounded familiar, but at the same time, Cliff was sure that it wasn't possible; nonetheless, the voice continued to call out to him in the sea of people.
"Cliff!! Cliff!! Is that you?!" Cliff turned around and saw a man in a white laboratory coat slinking his way through the crowd calling out to him. There was no doubt, it was Cliff's co-worker, a fellow scientist that he worked with on occasion. Cliff yelled out answering, "Is that you Nick?!"
The man finally made his way to Cliff and said, "Oh thank God you're safe. Not many of us are left... And if we'd lost you, we would've lost a major specialist in explosives," the man looked over and noticed the bow on Cliff's back, "...and archery!" The man poked fun at Cliff before getting serious again.
"Cliff, we've got to get out of here. I'm sure you've figured out a couple things. Besides... we're scientists, we're breed into making hypotheses and thinking of the worst case scenario. We've got a ship... maybe. If you come with me, your chances are at least better than staying stranded out here for 'hope'," the man's words pierced into Cliff's mind.
Cliff understood the situation, and the man was right. He had to get out alive, but with his hand still holding Christine's he hesitated and thought before talking to the man. "Nick, I need to take this woman with me, she's an important acquaintance of mines."

"Glad you can make it here safely, Sister. Do you run into any survivors back there?", he asks. I give him a nod and pointing at the direction where I last saw the man and woman. The man makes a hand motion to his partner, who replied it with a simple nod.
"Thank you very much. You may enter and wait there for the ship to leave", the man said while handed back my papers. He doesn't seem to check me, so I simply take the papers and walking to the entrance of the harbor. Several policemen set off back to the city, probably looking for those survivors I mentioned before. It's not really neccessary, but no matter.
Inside the harbor, many peoples are gathering while waiting to board the ship to Japan. I'd better board the ship before take a rest, though.So I join a group of people lining on the ship's entrance...

With the other two knocked out I had to much time on my hands to think. I had put off calling in to my family for so long. And now that I had the time to do it I hesitated. Standing up the top of my suit fell to the sides of my waist as I walked quietly out of the room and to the walkway outside. Pulling my phone out I was deciding on who to call first. I ultimately decided on my mother. Luckily that day would have been my mother's day off, and she wouldn't have been at the hospital. I dialed the number and placed the phone in my pocket as the call went to my earpiece. After a few rings it was picked up. "Kris! Is that you?!" said his mom frantically. "I was losing my mind. Did you make it to the evacuation?!" I was so glad to hear her voice that he almost forgot to respond. "Yes I was able to get to the harbor." I answered. "Have you heard from anyone else mother?"
"Even in this chaos you talk this calmly? I truly raised a soldier didn't I?" she said. Even without seeing her he could feel her shaking her head. "I've gotten in touch with everyone, but your sister. But she doesn't live here so it should okay. The others are making their way through the crowd here at the airport. Lucky thing we live so close to it." she answered. "They have the nurses helping out with the military so we all got called in. I'm at the airport where are you?" she asked. "I'm at the harbor." I answered. She sighed. "I guess I'll have to meet up with you later." she said as I heard someone calling her name in the background. "I'll have to talk to you later. Look out for yourself. Your mother can take care of herself ok? We'll talk soon. I love you." she said. "Love you too." I answered as we both hung up.
It made sense for the hospital to lend their nurses to the military, but I would rather my mom be on the first plane out of there. It made me a little nervous. But so far things were going fine. So I would do my best not to jinx it. Turning off my ear piece I didn't feel the needed to call anyone else. My life had left almost no time for friends outside the force. "So I'm coming with you after all? I mean, I'm supposed to protect you and everything, and since we are already going to an infected zone..."
Hilda looked towards the TV while uttering"Amazing? How so? Shouldn't the inability to care for all at the same time be a grave problem for someone in charge?"
"Yes. Well, you can try and protect me, I wouldn't mind that. But please don't start doing that until you get used to fighting zombies. I'll be taking care of myself in the battlefield until then."

The dreams were coming in small fits. Some lasted a short time, others were nightmares and felt like they were an eternity.
The first nightmare was one that I've had for a very long time. It is where I'm sitting with my parents at our house. It's just one of a random 6-tatami mat rooms. I couldn't see the walls, or my parents faces. We were just sitting around our small table, eating. Then my parents would just... vanish... They would drop their eating utensils, their silverware, everything... The stuff would just drop to the ground. It would never bother me. I would just see myself eating. Always eating... Even if I screamed at or clawed at myself, I wouldn't do anything, but eat.
The second nightmare I had, was about those creatures. About when I had tripped, and no one would help me. It was just a replay of my fears from earlier.
The third, was a repeat of my first.
The fourth and final nightmare... It was the first time I've ever had this dream. I was in the Library, floating among the bookshelves. All of a sudden, I get pulled towards the front of the Library, where I would usually sit and read my books. As I got closer, I could see someone sitting there, reading a book. As I got even closer, the person looked just like me. And as I was just across the table from myself, my body put down the book and looked at me. I didn't have a face. There was just a head with hair, no eyes or ears or nose or mouth. As my fear grew, I was thrown into that body, becoming one with it. I grew my eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Just in time too, as the books started to rise all around me. Shifting through the pages. The endless pages. As it continued, the shifting noise grew and grew, sounding as loud as a jet engine. The scene of the Library was like the paint running off of a wet piece of paper, turning into the black abyss. Then, silence. The books stopped shifting through their pages, and were facing towards me. I looked among the books, and saw them grow their own eyes and teeth. I tried running, but the books were everywhere. I knew it was pointless, and it was then, that the books came to me. They were eating me.

And that's when I woke up in a cold sweat. I hugged the covers around me, and cried. Cried for the first time in my life. I realized that I was clutching the book I went to bed with, and threw it against the opposite cabin wall.

Kotori was a bit surprise from what she saw once she was got inside the plane. However, she tried not to think much of it. To her, as long as it could fly, it didn't really matter how it looked like on the outside, or inside, for that matter. Up ahead, they where greeted by one of the hostesses of the plane. A couple of them could be seen taking people into their rooms. Kotori followed the hostess as she was guiding them into a room. "Uther lets go."
Uther heard Kotori and followed her to the seats. I didn't know that it's a room kind of plane. Is this really a plane? Uther thought as he looked around. Two normal plane seats, a bed at the corner, a closet?, bathroom?, What kind of a plane is this?! Uther screamed to himself. Without even looking at the other part of the room, Uther sat on the Normal Plane Seats that he saw. "Do you want the seats on the right side or the left side, Kotori?" Uther offered a seat.
"You can have it" Kotori said as she sat down.
"You know, I've been thinking," Uther sat down near the window and continued, "Where's your family?"
"My fathers location is currently unknown." Kotori said as she open her bag and took out the papers she had put in there earlier at night. "At this moment I don't know if he is either alive or dead." Kotori said as she began reading the papers.
"I see. That's sad. I hope he made it out alive and he'll contact you soon." Uther peeked the papers that Kotori was reading. Hmm...Millitary stuff, or is it? Well, not my problem. Uther looked out to the window. The planes are still on stand by.

W-W-What is this woman thinking?! Cliff seems to wince ever-so-slightly when Christine said that she was his girlfriend. Clearly... we weren't on the same page. Cliff could feel Christine's arm lock around his, with his arm now tightly pushed against her body. Looks like she's determined too...
Cliff made eye contact with his co-worker, and spoke with an undeniably serious tone, "Please Nick..."
Christine might have been nervous or embarrassed, but Cliff was far passed the point of embarrassment now. Cliff knew that anything less than a perfect act would not get Christine to board the same ship as him, or any ship for that matter. Cliff had influence and power as a long time worker at the facility, not to mention that his set of skills and knowledge were a specialty even in such a large science community. However, he was never too interested in relations; he would attend meetings and parties, or go out for lunch, but nothing more. Seeing Cliff with a girl, and even more so, a girlfriend, was a rare sight.
All there's left to do is believe that this guy buys the story...
"She's all I have left."

I lied down on one of the mattresses, suddenly dog tired. My eyelids became too heavy to keep open and I drifted into a haunted sleep. I saw my father in my dreams, he spoke to me, he told me I was as worthless now as when he passed away. A woman who looked like my mother was there too, and she just hugged me while my father spoke. He also told me that he would never be proud of my. The rest of my dream, I just remember a sense of hopeless falling in darkness, with no bottom, just falling forever.
I awoke to the sound of something hitting the wall, once my eyes got used to being used again I saw it was a book, and Kahori was sobbing. I collected myself and got up, and I walked over to where she lay. I got down on one knee and asked, "You alright?" and put on a smile I hoped was comforting. Heaven forbid any of my old clients saw my in the position I was in now; I'm sure they would all have a laughing fit, I was known for being tough and unforgiving. I once cut a man's heroine with bleach because he was behind in payments. It was two months before anyone else got behind in money again. I really was scum of the earth, huh? All I have is my worthless life, so I'm going to use it to protect people now.

AzelleFans: As Sophia enters the queue along with other people to the harbor. The police walked their way to the ones slowly letting people into the harbor, they persuaded the guards to let Sophia in. For reasons not known to any, especially Sophia; they let her move to the harbor. I'd take some time to walk to it, so he was escorted to it with a Humvee, driven by a man from the military. Some others seemingly extraordinary seemed to have already sat inside the vehicle.
((OOC: I'm not sure if they actually use Humvees for things like that but ehh... anything can happen at times like that.))

... There're several familiar faces that I saw on the harbor. Most are people who usually came to the church, and few that actually are priests and nuns of our church. Granted, they don't realize that I'm also in the harbor. I also don't put any effort to greet them, yep.
I'm still enjoying my time in the queue when a policeman is walking toward me. Errr....
"Miss Sophia Calmina from St.Arlynia Church?", he asked with a controlled, pleasant tone. I nod while taken aback a little.
"Would you kindly enough to come with me? We'll escort you into the harbor now", he said again. He makes a gesture to let me walk first. The policeman escorts me to the entrance, where other guard is stopping us. The policeman asked him to let me in, following by whispering something to the guard. It doesn't take long before they let us enter. Now what's really happening here?
The policeman gave me a smile. He seems to understand that I am confused, but decided that he shouldn't tell me anything about it. Hmm...
It's only like 5 steps away from the entrance when suddenly a big black military car stopped in front of me. A military man comes out, talking a moment to the policeman that escorting me. He nodded slightly, then motioning me to enter the car. While I'm clearly hesistate, I walk into the car nonetheless. When I already sit in the car, the military man enters the car and it begins to speed up to the harbor. I can't sit comfortably because of SILVANUS in my back...
Then, I realize that there are other people inside the car beside me and the military man. When I adjusted my eyes to see the other figures, my mind cried out in recognition.

The policeman gave me a smile. He seems to understand that I am confused, but decided that he shouldn't tell me anything about it. Hmm...
It's only like 5 steps away from the entrance when suddenly a big black military car stopped in front of me. A military man comes out, talking a moment to the policeman that escorting me. He nodded slightly, then motioning me to enter the car. While I'm clearly hesistate, I walk into the car nonetheless. When I already sit in the car, the military man enters the car and it begins to speed up to the harbor. I can't sit comfortably because of SILVANUS in my back...
Then, I realize that there are other people inside the car beside me and the military man. When I adjusted my eyes to see the other figures, my mind cried out in recognition.
... Oh crap, it's those two!

As Satoru came to console me, I threw my arms around him, not caring for any indecencies or anything. I needed to cry, and cry, and he was the closest person to me right now. I just keep crying on his shoulders, ignoring the question he asked me. Slowly, my tears start subsiding, but I don't release my grip on him. After a little while longer, I stopped crying, and looked up at him.
"I feel so scared Satoru. I feel all alone. Won't you let me sleep with you? I'll even put back on my clothes, but I don't want to sleep alone again.", I plead to him, with tears starting to come back into my eyes.

I looked to the direction of footsteps closing in on me. Those shoes were loud against the wooden deck. It was a man from the ship staff informing passengers about the schedule. "Twelve. Understood." I answered. Then the man then walked down the deck informing the other passengers. I took a moment to look out to sea. 'Just how far will this thing spread?' I thought as I tug on my dog tag take a look at it. Command never did call to ask about the mission...Perhaps they were busy trying to get a handle on all this, but still wouldn't they try to get every man they could on this. Things just weren't adding up. Someone expected him and his whole squad dead. But depending on how high this person was and their resources it was possible he would be targeted again to cover it up.
This began to build up a bit of paranoia in me, but in this situation being cautious of everything could end up keeping me alive. Heading back inside the cabin I was a bit surprised by the scene. "Do I even...? Whats wrong with Kahori?" I asked looking at the two. There was a book that was thrown against the wall. She loved books so it seemed so out of place. 'So much for getting some rest.' With Christine and Cliff's arms locked together, the man in the white lab coat stood stunned for a bit. "Well, then... I never knew you had it in you Cliff! Of 'course she can come!" The man bought Cliff's story relatively quickly, perhaps due to the circumstances.
The man directed the two of them towards a black Humvee and flipped out his phone. The man began pushing Christine and Cliff in the direction of the Humvee simply telling them that they would be safe. As the two of them made their way through the crowd, the man could be heard talking into his phone, perhaps explaining the situation, but neither Cliff nor Christine could hear him.
As Cliff made his way through the crowd Cliff thought, Thanks Nick...
"He looks like a good person..." Christine spoke to Cliff.
"Yeah, he's a good guy," Cliff said slightly downcast, "But I can only wonder why he didn't come with us..."
Christine nodded quietly as they two opened the Humvee's door. "Ummmm... This just an act okay?!" Christine said quietly as she took away her grip from Cliff. "D-d-don't misunderstand that!" Christine entered the Humvee with a rush.
Cliff let out a laugh as he motioned with his hand so that she would enter first. "I still can't believe you said that! Guess you can't help but fall in love with me eh?!" Cliff bellowed as he struck a pose attempting to flex his nonexistent muscles before entering the Humvee with Christine with a pleasant, teasing smile on his face.
Just before Cliff sat down at his seat, Christine stomped his foot as hard as she can. "HMPH!" Christine pouted and kept her distance with Cliff.
Cliff attempted to cup his mouth with one hand to stop himself from both laughing too hard and reacting to the pain, while apologizing; but once it became evident that Christine was clearly mad, he let out a cough to clear his throat and regain his composure.
Christine sat at near the window, placing her backpack at the middle seat. "This is my area! Okay?!" Christine looked away from Cliff and stared at the crowd outside. With not much else to do, Cliff turned to do the same.
The two of them sat in the Humvee for a bit before the driver finished quietly talking on his phone and signaled to Cliff and Christine, who sat in the backseats, that they would be leaving shortly. Within several minutes, the Humvee took off, driving slowly past the crowds of people. There could be screaming and yelling heard, even through the reinforced glass of the Humvee; there was no doubt that there were people being left behind. Cliff and Christine were taking the shortcut, the sure-way out, and as a result, they were taking away the chance for others to live.
Cliff couldn't look out the window any longer. He diverted his gaze, looking downwards, "I'm sorry..." Cliff whispered aloud unconsciously.
"Don't get too cocky just because you saved me a couple times. Hmph!" Christine responded angrily. "....But thank you for taking me with you." Christine mumbled with a small voice.
Christine's words seemed to soothe the weight on Cliff's mind, and the atmosphere became much less tense... though Christine was obviously still a bit mad. The Humvee continued to make its way through the crowd before stopping. The driver signaled to us that another would be coming on.
Soon after, the door opened and a nun entered the Humvee. The nun was surprised when she saw Christine and Cliff.
"Um... sister, you can sit here." Christine took her bag and gave some space for her.
"Nice to meet you Sister. Looks like God gave you lots of help." Christine greeted the sister with a smile, while ignoring Cliff.

After some time had pass Uther had order some room service. After finishing what he order Uther went to one of the beds to sleep. Though Kotori the whole time was just looking through the papers her father had left behind. Disappointed that the papers only mention only a few things of what her father was doing Kotori stood up and went to take a shower. After she was done Kotori got one of the bath robes she found though it was a little too big for her but she didn't really mind. She just need to put on something quickly to concentrate more into reading the documents.
