Iteyui was caught off by Hilda's sudden question. This made her even more nervous. While she sat at the chair, she made unnecessary fumbling about, that just made the moment seem one-sided.
"Umm....T-Those? Unfortunately, no.... I got lucky.... I h-hope I could save others, but that'd mean not s-saving myself...."
"Then, you'd simply have to take care of yourself while keeping yourself alive, yes? Keeping your alive as a priority, perhaps?"
At the same time while the other girl felt one-sided; it seemed as though Hilda enjoyed herself, which was obvious with the mischievous smile she wore on her face.
Iteyui seemed intrigued about why Hilda wanted to know her name.
"M-My name...?" She muffled in a soft voice, "Iteyui... family name Chinoiro...."
"Ah, it is a pleasure to meet you, Iteyui Chinoiro, my name is quite long so it may add to your set of confusions, so I'd like to introduce myself as Hilda de Henriette. I am an aristocrat, bearing close connections to the authority that controls Fakku city," Hilda puts one leg above the thigh of the other, then begins to take sips from her glass containing the wine which glowed faintly from the golden rays of light set up in the room.
"What is your plan amidst of all this chaos? Will you be saving people, or will you be wanting to meet up with your father, or would you rather prefer to follow my lead? I plan to try and get to the bottom of this. Gonna try and find a way to exterminate zombies in the easiest way possible so that they can be removed from this world completely. I'm not sure if I'll be finding such a solution any time soon, though. Top priority remains survival regardless, though,"
"Y-You can just call me Iteyui...." Iteyui eased up a little bit, although her body expression still remained that of a timid woman.
Very well, then, that reply came almost flying to Iteyui almost immediately.
"You are.... the daughter? Of..." Iteyui pressed her fingers against her temple as if trying to think hard, or remember something. "Jacob.... right?! Wow.... must be fantastic to be a close kin of such a powerful being-- not that you aren't any less powerful.... I'm sorry I'm such a burden as of the moment..." Iteyui sat straight, both hands locked to her laps, and she tried to look as upper class as possible.
"Y-You know about my father? Where is he? Is he safe? I'm embarrassed to say this, but as his daughter, I unrightfully ditched him while he's taking the brunt of the chaos..." Iteyui looked down in disappointment.
"Of course not. I am not Jacob's daughter. I am a noble mostly by my own unspoken accomplishments and deeds. I've had some encounters with Jacob from time to time as I traveled around the world. That's how we know each other. And of course, there are more reasons than one as to why I have close connections to him currently. But such information are classified. Anyway, regarding your father... I don't know much. All I know is that he's doing his job in the harbor. The office lady appeared with a duty to lead you to safety upon your father's request. I simply accepted upon request, to have you here, Hilda sighed after the long statement, then drank another round of her wine from her glass- closing her eyes while savoring the exquisite taste of the drink.
"I think every one of us will be taking the 'brunt' of this chaos. Whether you like it or not, you'll be confronted by the Dead. If you don't have the will to fight, then it may just be the end. Better sharpen yourself up while you can. As for me, I'm already prepared, as Hilda finished saying so, she shot her eyes towards her brandished blade inside her scabbard - resting on the wall next to the bed. A gigantic blade that seems as though it can even break a wide pillar in half... though it shouldn't be easy to accomplish in reality.
Her words struck Iteyui's being like frost arrows, making her heart pulsate exorbitantly every time Hilda had said something that struck her. "You make it sound like I'm something you get then throw away after a while," Iteyui laughed to herself. "Such amazing adventures... I wish I c-could have some of your adventure..."
"Well, it's not like I wanted to be here, anyway.... It all just came so suddenly, I just had to agree to everything before I knew about what I was doing."
"Honestly speaking, I didn't have time to sharpen myself, or rather, I didn't want to... I don't want to attract any more attention by shooting those things. It's not much, but it's a decent weapon! It has been passed down since the early 21st century.. by my father."
Iteyui set down her haversack. Just as it hit the ground, her weapon toppled with it, along with a ringing 'Clang!' sound. It echoed around the room. Iteyui's face turned bright red while scampering to get it back together.
Whether you get thrown away or not is completely upon your decision. Because I'm not going to force you to be with me after what goes down tomorrow, or later. But I won't mind you accompanying me. I have no intention to abandon you out of the blue, if you're thinking as such. My adventures were actually quite boring, smelly men on high horse, everywhere, this time, Hilda put down her glass on the table, then took up phone up and stared at it; looking at something.
"Nor did I, honestly, Jacob set this flight up for the high ups, and he somehow booked this room for me. For some reason, he is desperate to get me off of this country to some safe land. So, while I was not really confused about what was going on; I had to accept whatever that was thrown at me, as well."
"I don't think most people had the time to, but I believe one must sharpen up at one point. Sharpen up as in... killing those zombies and getting used to it. It sounds like a more proper way to live through it, rather than to run. I was told that the dead are good with chasing people... though, I don't know how much of Jacob's information I can trust, honestly.
"I would accompany you if you so wish... My father can probably take care of himself and my mother is.... another story. Although I won't be of much help, I can be a person to talk to, if that helps." Iteyui took a bottle from her haversack and downed it quickly, before gulping and continuing.
"Seems like we are somewhat alike... not that I'd take that as something bad. Maybe if it's possible I would like to help you in anything you need or want. Again, it's not much, be cautioned..."
"I couldn't take myself to shoot those, I mean- I only have 24 bullets, and what's more is I haven't used this weapon of mine before. Of course I'd like to try it out soon... maybe someday, or tomorrow, or later, whenever you feel like going out. I came from Section F and had to compromise a little in order to get through, so I had been in the shadows for most of the time... I haven't had any of those chasing me, nor did I try killing them. I did once, but gave up knowing that my gun would produce too loud of a sound..."
"Well, I'd like to have someone to talk to, I suppose. However, the hell you'll face soon is going to be bigger than anything. The news is mostly talking about Fakku City, but in truth; it's all over the world. Anywhere you go, danger will catch up. Same goes for the place this plane will take us to. Suffice it to say that we'll be safe for a day or two after the trip. Or maybe no days at all. We've already lost half a million people by now anyway. So uhh, I'm just trying to say that you may as well treat the zombies as punching... err, slicing bags to get used to it, or something. I'm not even sure of what I'm saying anymore. Pardon me. But I think those who can't fight may have a really hard time living in this world, currently," Hilda put her cell phone down, and made an expression of amusement.
Hilda put her both of the backs of her hands below her head as she rested her chin, "It's okay. You don't have much experience after all. Perhaps I'll be able to cover you. However, I am not perfect, since no one ever is; hence I cannot guarantee your safety."
"Ah... you need ammo, is it? We may be able to get some spares for you, no matter how costly they may be, I can afford. Though I'd recommend getting better at using it's blade part, though. None of us know what senses these zombies use, whether they follow their eyes or ears. Or even nose, even Jacob hasn't found out. But I'd love to test out how their senses works. Regardless, just as you said about noises, you probably should refrain from using the bullets until you get a whole pack of them coming at you. Or something. Oh, but wait, when getting attacked by a pack, it's actually better to just run. I forgot about that option, pardon me.
Hilda looked up above, towards one of the many gold orbs spreading the illuminating light throughout the room, "Though... Section F? That's quite far, for you to reach this place quite quick. I assume you took the subway? Oh and in case you're wondering, I haven't really faced the monsters myself, but I did know of their location. So I just avoided them, especially because of the flight. But it seems like we're having quite a bit of a delay here."
Hilda then wonders when the plane will take flight. No news regarding that has been announced so far. Are those rich guys really taking that long to board the plane?
