Mm, this episode was indeed hard to watch, and I felt the tears almost coming, especially when Feryis said that Okabe was her prince, and she wanted to cry before everything was undone. I'm assuming that her father is dead now, but you never know.

And yeah, I'm wondering if Ruka will remember the past as well when Okabe goes off to undo that D-Mail, or maybe it's only certain people. I guess we shall see.

And SERN is acting awfully quiet. I'm still feeling uneasy about them...

Also remember, this is all taking place during the same few days over and over. SERN should have no idea about what's going on so far, and will only show up at around 2000.

[spoil]True, unless it's used as kind of a plot device to learn more about Ruka, (like what we discovered about Feryis). Unless Ruka's desire to be a girl is really that simple, and then he/she wouldn't need to know that the change ever occurred.

True, but Suzuha did say that Kurise was a spy for SERN, so I have a funny feeling that she's either been bugged, or they have someone on their team with Okabe's ability that has been tracking him. I dunno, it just seems a little too quiet to me.

Suzuha said Kurisu was a spy because Kurisu worked for SERN while developing the time machine. All that was in a different time line, Suzuha changed the entire future simply by stopping in 2010. Now they may not have jumped across the beta line at that point, but the damage was done.

On top of that, Kurisu is only 19 and SERN isn't even a power in 2010 at this point. Considering that she knows about SERN now, even as of now, Kurisu would never work for SERN in the future.

-Oh, yeah I remember that being mentioned but that seems like a dumb way of going about doing things, unless it's just to save Miyushi, and Okabe will end the experiments right there. I mean, if the first D-mail is what tripped SERN's sensors then, ok, maybe that will prevent them from knowing about their machine. BUT, if they're still gonna try to get past 1% they'll just have SERN on their asses again -.-

No, the "divergence meter shuffle" is just a dramatic effect scene, like how you're expecting to get a 777 in a slot machine.

It's not dumb, it's actually the most logical thing to do. It's better to retrace your steps than jumping to conclusion if you're searching for a missing object (IBN 5100).

If they just undo Moeka's D-Mail first without undoing Feyris's D-mail just means they're jumping to other world lines, not returning to the previous world line.

Also, I don't think mayushii can be saved yet.

Why feyris is able to remember the other time line, rintarou can't remember what happens whe the time changes, and only knows the effects after he talks to other people.

There's no proof yet that Feyris also has a "Reading Steiner". or even proof that another human can have the same ability.

You're 2nd statement proofed that Feyris and Okabe's condition are 2 different things. If indeed Fayris has a Reading Steiner why can't she realize the change without Okabe forcing her to remember the alternate world.

The difference
Feyris: If forced to, Can remember the events in each alternate worlds and retain (recover) all her memories.

Okabe: His reading Steiner only allows his current conscious and memory to go through time. He cannot remember any past memories that were changed due to the D-Mail changing to a different world line.

Episode 18:

Spoiler:
Episode 18 was a lot of fun, for the most part. I found it really enjoyable to both see Okabe and Ruka on a date, and Kurisu and Daru tailing them/trying to help Okabe out. I laughed a lot when they kept calling each other virgins, and it was a nice change of pace since the series has been pretty dramatic as of late. Although, the ending, with Okabe training with Ruka, and Ruka feeling melancholy about returning to being a guy, was quite lovely.

And looks like one D-mail left. I have this strange feeling that Kurisu is not going to make it once everything is said and done...

Currently
Spoiler:
the target is to get the IBN 5100 first, which diappeared after Moeka's D-Mail. Then after getting that they'll erase the "accidental mail" from SERN. It's kinds impossible to undo the first one since it's accidental and Okabe himself probably doesn't know the contents.
