Angel Beats!

It seems to have an interesting premise, and the animation quality looks pretty decent as well. But more importantly Kamiya Hiroshi is in this, so i'll most likely follow this series till it's end :3

This is going to be the best anime of the spring set by far!....and knowing key they will make it depressing as hell somehow

I just hope this will be awesome. Personally a huge factor to why I am gonna watch this show is the music. Jun Maeda and his crew makes the most beautiful BGM's. :')

Sorry, but those troll subs are already outdated. Everyone should either go with Mazui or Static-Subs, although Mazui is the faster one out of the bunch.

The first episode was full of Key+Maeda Jun greatness. Definitely going to be one of this spring's best animes. Can't wait for more.

To clear of everyone's confusion, though this was made by Key, it is only an anime, not a visual novel. Story by the guys who did Air and Clannad, assisted by the guys who did Seto No Hanayome, character design by the guys who did Little Busters...this anime is quite godly XD.

I waited about 4 months for this to come out and after watching the first episode, I'd have to say it's just as I expected. Epic

I was enjoying this anime so much while watching it I was licking my screen

First episode was ok. The ending was the better part of the episode.

1st ep got me confused. still cant give an opinion based on what ive seen so ill wait for the next episode~

Honestly, though. I regret checking that Sankaku link. I had forgotten that Anime fanboys are among the scariest and most anal of all fandoms.

Anyways.

I'm not seeing the major source of the confusion from the first episode.

Haruhi died, went to the afterlife, acquired a sweet hat, and began coaxing EVERYONE FUCKING ELSE who showed up into joining her.

From the way everyone within that "Battlefront" acts, I'd hazard a guess that said afterlife is a micropocket that picks up on teenagers who die while in possession of either unfulfilled ambitions, or some kind of mental disorder. Or both. Most like both.

Or perhaps the Battlefront members are the outcasts of teenage society, given how much of Haruhi...fucknuts, Yuri's lectures focus on "Don't act like the NPCs".

Angel comes off as fairly normal, as well.

In the whole, "I haz magic, and know wats going on but hell if I'ma tellz you." sense.

The only bit that I couldn't quite fathom is, where in the nine blue hells are they getting all of those guns?

But, I forgave that one. I absolutely loved the gun SE for the first episode.
