Yuri's past was pretty screwed up. At least from it we know how she DIDN'T die though...
On a side note - I like Yuri but I don't like her name... It reminds me of a russian politician or eastern european computer hacker.

Anyone else think that Yuri might think of a way to develop her own moves like Angel does after seeing her computer? I think that would be pretty awesome. ALSO, needs moar TK. Get chance and luck!

TK's voice reminds me of the voice from DDR games.
I replayed the acoustic song in episode 3 over and over and over. The song was sooo good and the animation made it look like she was really putting everything she had into singing it.
Also, here is my idea for what is going on in the series and where everyone comes from and why people disappear:

Seems like a likely possible meaning. I am inclined to think the same, honestly I didn't think this much about it, and planned not to for a few more episodes, but since you've brought it all up I guess I have too. I was reading the manga recently Angel Beatsï¼ -Heaven's Door-(the manga that just began serialization) and so far only Yuri, Angel, and Hinata are in it. About Hinata...

If someone actually remembers dying in a way that was impossible for them to of survived, then I wont think my theory is correct. So until someone can actually remembers dying, not just the moments leading up to it, I'm sticking with my idea.
I know it is REALLY hard to remember dying - since you know, you died - but atleast if someone has memories of a situation there was no possible way they survived, then I'd discount my earlier ideas.

Just remember, that in the anime world, when some one thinks something is about to kill them, or about to die, some how there saved by something/some one. So it will be really hard to find someone who remembers actually dying, unless it was self inflicted (suicide), which as Yuri stated is not possible to be in this world if you died by suicide (Then again, how exactly does Yuri know that? Part of me makes me think she's in denial.)
