Gurren Laggan hands Down... Death note did have it's moments but In between those moments I was half willing myself to keep watching because I was loosing interest...

Gurren Lagann, since it was able to keep building tension near the end and not fall apart. Those last three episodes are awesome

Lol ive never seen gurren but i know the watchin the deathnote LAM is much better cuz its shorter and its a lil cheesy but your still getting the whole story

Well, Gurren Lagann has more fun, in fact, it has an amazing amount of fun and awesome, so much that they throw MUTHA FUCKIN Galaxies!!! (GALAXY SHURIKEN MUTHA FUCKER!!!) Still, you can't really compare them. I mean, Death Note has its good points too. Even if i haven't watched the entire series, I must say it's good. Very good, even. Gurren Lagann's animation is a masterpiece, uncomparable to all, the final battle proves it. Death Note has a very good story and catches you with it's plot, since it's like 100 times more serious than Gurren Lagann. What I must say is, if you're searching fun, and moments that make you cry, go for Gurren Lagann. If you're looking for a serious anime, with a bit of many things, and great themes, then Death Note is what your looking for.

Death Note was good until L died. From that point it was pretty much bullshit.
Gurren Lagann is more of a children's anime, while Death Note takes a darker tone. For (mostly) happy, awesomeness, go for Gurren Lagann even though the ending was pretty...

In terms of what I'd watch again in its entirety sooner, Gurren Lagann. I really felt like I rode the show's ups and downs, and was drawn in by the characters moreso than with Death Note. Death Note had suspense going for it. It really kept me asking "what happens next?" but Gurren Lagann spoke more to my preferences. The characters, subject matter, and overall atmosphere of the series was more enjoyable to me.
That said, I didn't anticipate I'd like Death Note as much as I ended up liking it, whereas, I went into Gurren Lagann expecting to love it, and wasn't disappointed at all.

I rather choose death note because it got more common sense than Guren Laggan Eventho Gurren Laggan has more action scene.....

Death note totally catches you ever since the first episode. I never got past the 5 first eps of GURREN LAGANN... I never gave it a second chance though.
