what show better GURREN LAGANN or death note

Since the title said 'show' .. i will put manga aside from this.
For story and character development then i think Death Note can outstand TTGL.
But if we take it by overall, most viewer will choose TTGL because it's easier to enjoy with rather than Death Note.
But well, i am mature enough to watch Death Note and it's enjoyable since i like the genre .. therefore, i choose it.

In reality Gurren Lagann is better, I watched both but I could not forgive Light Yagami afetr he killed that detective for no reason. He could have played a game with the detective rather than kill him, that would have made the series more interesting. Gurren lagann on the other hand is an anime with soul and a good plot, the story of a boy shooting for the heavens, although this may be a spoiler you will end up loving it more when his brother dies shooting for the heavens.

I enjoyed both shows, but Death Note has my vote. I enjoyed TTGL, but DN was something more up my alley. Also I think some people hype TTGL WAY too much, it was a good series, but not one of the greatest or as great as some people hype it to be, just my two cents...

I honestly hate both.
Gurren Lagann is one of the few shows that I actually made a point to drop.
Er, that doesn't make a lot of sense.
With other shows I've dropped it's been more of a "ehh, I don't feel like watching this anymore" kind of decision.
With Gurren Lagann it was "I'm fucking done, that's it."
