What the fuck am I reading.

I must say that at the beginning I did not understand the reason for these changes (i didn't visit the forum often) but, even if I am still a student, I used the brain and found out what was happening and the canges were for a good reason so even if i will miss the free good quality stuff is better for Fakku to take this direction.
I will try to gather enough money to pay the subscription but before that i'll see how things evolve and if Fakku will be able to change for the better before throwing my money on it.

Kind of an insane move they have made. I thought the "premium access" was a brilliant idea to make money. Nobody really likes to pay for porn unless its their hobby, and for most of us on this site it isnt a hobby. Its a place we come to once a day, week, or month. Some only like certain types of hent that arent posted a lot, and will be posted never(?) now that its going to be little more than two mainstream porno mag publications and whatever artists are willing to give them their work in exchange for "exposure" and some pubic hair.

On top of this i did even go ahead and try to get a subscription. For days now. Every time i put my FUCKING PRIVATE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION into their FUCKING WEBSITE it just says "transaction declined" and i feel like it got stolen. Especially since ive recieved no email back about my account. It seems like a common solution they are giving is "contact your credit card company". Pshh, way to go fakku. Cant wait to see Ron Jeremy selling horse viagra whenever i decide to come laugh at your stupidty in the future. Id say thanks for half a decade of faps, but then again what has fakku ever really made?

Because we are an adult company users are sometimes required to validate the transaction with the credit card company, that's most likely the reason for the decline. Although I have been known to take on the persona of a horse, I assure you we have nothing to do with horse viagra.

Laughing at the guys that demand a robust suite of content from day 1. It's not like I have some kind of special training or background but I can tell more companies will be willing to play ball with a legit website featuring no pirated content and a working history with another japanese company. Wani was incredibly gracious to jump into bed with us when they did. They took a risk. I've enjoyed what they offered so far, and it can only get better from now.


Once more companies jump in bed we can have more fun. Simple rule for life ;)

Just about ALL of the free doujinshis have been removed with a few exceptions to Western artwork/doujinshis...
Hoping this is just a short term thing, but if not then I guess my life in the hentai manga world has come to an end. Or I will find another website, but either way I will miss the old Fakku with a lot of free-to-view doujinshis

Aight look...I know it's easy to hop onto this bandwagon of "Jacob's taking our hentai away, let's string him up by his toenails!" But come on think about if this was your job. Let's say you work as a specific shoeline manufacturer that makes a very specific type of heel that has caught on with a large number of women. Now let's say that you find a large drop in revenue after about 6 months, and it steadily declines but the number of consumers seen wearing and using this shoe are only growing more and more. Then you find out that another company has been illegally using your patent to craft your shoe and sell it as their own, but managed to get a better PR department and thus extra sales over your own. You'd be pissed and try to sue them for stealing your patent! The same thing applies here, only instead of straight suing us (which correct me if I'm wrong was originally their course of action), Wani decided to partner with us to make one of, if not the, first large english translated magazine publishers in the west. We have an amazing opportunity at our hands, yes it costs money but if you really truly cannot afford to pay the subscription, there are other places you can go to find everything that was on Fakku.

Jacob made it clear this was happening a long time ago, took steps to ensure that we'd be able to get our favorites exported so we'd know which creator's we liked, and then finally on the day that he had made known for basically a year, took down the scanlations. You should not rage post on these forums in blatant anger over questions that have been answered time and time again with valid answers.

There's really only one thing i'm concerned about at the moment. It's completely within Fakku's rights to do whatever they want with their website. That being said i have not desire to pay the subscription but i did have a favorites page with some manga i would like to see again in the future. But my favorites tab is of course empty now. I doubt there is a way to re-obtain this list. But i guess i wouldn't hurt to ask. So... is there or am i gonna have to do the best i can with my memory?

Gonna play a bit of devil's advocate here. I honestly don't see the problem with wanting artists to get paid for their work. If you like something/someone, it should be only natural to support it, I think. That said, I'm more of a fan of "physical content," so while I wouldn't, say, pay for a subscription, I wouldn't mind buying a book. Especially considering they are de-censored, which is fucking great. If I weren't a poorfag, I'd probably own every book on the shop right now.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to "hide" all porn behind a "paywall." It's not working for "normal" porn, and it's certainly not gonna work for hentai. There are dozens of other sites for you to peruse, and feature a lot more niche "tastes" or "fetishes" that Fakku just doesn't have. It's retarded that people are more upset than they should be about this.

Whether this is a "risky move" on Fakku's part or not is the real question. While I'm bummed about having my Favorites wiped clean, I support this move of supporting talented artists.

I do not purchase items without knowing the content beforehand. Unfortunately that is the only option currently available here now. From what I've seen of the remaining content it all features women with unrealistic proportions, a turnoff in my case. I saw only a dozen that had my interest but the paywall prevents me from finding out if I would truly enjoy said doujin.

But this is only the first day of first week of the first year for this new setup. It'll be sent thru its paces, shook down, streamlined, and all that jazz over the course of the year.

It will be interesting to see how things progress from here, but sadly this means that for the time being Fakku has fallen to my "once a month" folder.

Almost completely unbiased, as I only visited Fakku a couple times a month, if that. While I'm saddened that it's now completely behind a paywall. I'm not surprised that this happened, only unhappy with the decision.

Yes, it sucks. Yes, it was very obvious that it'd happen. Yes, mathematically it will make them more money in the long run.

No, it probably wasn't the best thing they could have done. They already have ad payments on their mobile(and possibly their website, too. I have adblock and am unable to know) and get a good amount of revenue from them, due to the fact that the page refreshed every time I move to the next page. This definitely seems like a cash grab, and no longer "for the people". That's not a problem, if they want more money than they can get more money. However, I bet this will end up in them losing more money then they'd make.

I'd like somebody to let me know if you are still experiencing ads on the doujinshi you are reading. If you are, I'm almost positive this is just them whipping you for your money. xP

Christ you people are worse then SJWs... Ever since Fakku began the sub system the quality of hentai skyrocketed and they quickly became one of my favorite sites. Give it a try or GTFO.
