I've rounded up some really high-caliber writers and editors that are quite proficient in the art of the English language and we met to finalize details about the contest. The judges are set, the theme is set, and the rules will be as they always were with some tweaking. The only thing I'm trying to deal with are prizes and advertising. However, we cannot wait much more, so the contest will be starting Wednesday the 5th of December after I post the thread. If I don't finalize prizes by then, I'll say which ones are assured and update the contest accordingly along the way if the prizes I look into get a response. The communication unfortunately takes a bit.
Sorry for the five day delay into the month. I'm doing the best I can, given the circumstances. Just thought I'd keep you guys updated. I'd talk about this in the Writing forum itself, but we don't really have a place there to talk about it.
I'd say 'stay frosty,' but my State just shot up to 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the beginning of December. So, don't melt...or don't get bitten by mosquitoes. Either/or depending on global location.
Examinations are over and I feel dead inside even though I did well today. This means it is back to Fanfiction and Writing section. Perhaps I'd better start translating that song that lasted for 15 minutes.
Please spread the word to any sections you frequent, and much luck to all of you. I have high hopes from the lot of you that you'll come up with some pretty great entries!
