yeah, I usually never buy games since I'm too low on money. I just looked in my closet and found two bulk boxes of ramen and canned foods, so I thought, "eh, fuck it." XD I'd have been even more broke if steam ever sold VN's and eroge :D

And for the lounge's sake, I have one question. It'll vary with the answers, and I already know my answer, but I would like to hear your guys opinions.

No kidding. Holy moly, if steam sold VN's, I'd be broke in no time. Btw, do you think Bastion is going to get any lower? Maybe the 75% discount? I'm thinking about buying it, but... so many getting on sale, maybe I should wait it out in case Bastion does?



Hm... the 'best' hero... I dunno, I mean it varies with the story. But in general, I like a hero that I can connect with. A realistic one. The ones that question their own morals and ideals when they face a tough opponent, or a villain whose ideals are just as strong and solid as the hero's. /Vague answer lol.



Yes. He seems to have the tenacity to sit and read through the good and the bad, and lots of em too. On top of that, he can tell what IS good or bad, and provide constructive criticism and insight into a lot of works. I'm not a real fan of his format, but I respect his criticism and time/effort he puts into reviewing stories.

Okay, just had to let that out somewhere. On Coffee, I read some of his reviews and I agree with him being a judge. He knows the good and the bad, he's actually willing to sit down and read all those entries and he's also able and willing to express his thoughts in a comprehensible manner. That's just great. In terms of qualifications as a judge, he's qualified without any doubt.

I don't really like his style of generalizing things on what should be good and what's bad though, in all seriousness I would prefer Mibu or Xenon because at least they seem to have a sense of humor and more carefree. I don't like the over-seriousness going on at the section atm to be honest~
