So there are what? 4, 5 calendars indicating the world will end in 2012.
Im pretty sure in the world right now theres about 2,000,000,000 calanders saying the world is going to end December 31st 2010, does that mean its going to happen?
We are just a lot less commited to our calendars than the mayans, the chinese or what have you.

We don´t have to worry about Earth´s destruction, is unstopable its end. In about 5,000,000 years our sun will become a Red Giant, and will consume all planets until it reachs Mars, expanding itself so much that, eventually, will explode.

And yes, we humans will be extingted before that happens (or evolved into another thing), so,
don´t worry about 2012, is just another year.

No, they have stated that the world will end at some point, and with similar events such as planetary alignment and shit as triggers/warnings (which will not happen in 2012 though), but no one else have pointed strictly to 2012. And following up on this, every religion or cultural civilization throughout history have had some sort of prophesy about the end of the world, some of them have pointed to defined dates, some have not, but they all claim that the world will end. Sooner or later.

It's a yes and No. why i said that? because that's the real reason and the main purpose of a prophecy to make people aware of their surrounding and made a move before it happen but i also don't beleive it because our calculation in this time frame are diffrent from frrom the calculation of the aztec time..

It's likely the will 'die' before our sun would consume the planet, but either way it's billions of years off and the point still remains that's we don't need to be in a rush to worry about it.

Science has estimated the Sun has at least another 4,000,000,000 years in it before it starts to expand, destroying the Earth.
In that time we could have turned the Earth into a rocket ship!
We will be alright, who knows how tech advanced we will be in 10 years let alone 4,000,000,000!
