"With this, it should be enough to pull her to this side," this reassuring line was said in such a professional manner that one would think this person is a secretary. Her voice-tone, and the very way she presented herself before her apparent 'boss' was accompanied with flawless acting. Except that, while her composure seemed to be perfect, what remained behind her glare was fiery hatred. This was the blond-haired middle school student perceived to be 'dangerous' by the academy. "With this, I have most of the pawns assembled, with the last two piece, I'd be set to put my plans in motion once again," the boy standing before the girl spoke with a hint of glee exuding from his grinning expression. "Persona, I leave the rest to you. I don't care however you do it, just get them to be on this side," he ordered. "Of course," Persona answered. No hint of feelings could be felt from his extremely cold way of speaking. However, a corner of his lips rose; a smile filled with blood-lust could be seen. ↑ Prologue ↑ Ladies and Gentlemen - prospective role-players and viewers alike - I welcome you all to my next Role-Play (RP). An RP based on a great old anime/manga series, it's something I didn't think I'd do myself, but did it anyway. This one is made mostly because I wanted to, there is no particular reason, it was actually supposed to be Zero no Tsukaima RP this time, but my mood changed, and so did my plans. I do have exams soon, so I'm going to be slightly slower with the writing than usual. Gakuen Alice is a manga (also had an anime adaptation with 26 episodes, years ago) about a girl that chases after her childhood friend, who one day enrolled into the mysterious academy known as Alice Academy (we'll refer to it as 'Alice Academy' instead 'Gakuen Alice' in this RP from this point on). All the students in said academy are known as 'Alices', each possessing the unreal power called Alice. Alice is a special power that those are born with, they are treated as national treasure by the country; they'd do whatever they can to have children with such power enroll into Alice Academy, so as to keep them protected from terrorist organizations and kidnappers. In this RP, we're going to take a different approach to this. Most of the main characters from the manga will not be taking part in the story of this RP. There will be however; a few of them taking part regardless: Persona, for example. I'll be trying to make the story of this RP funny, yet dark just like the manga, not sure how much of that I can actually accomplish, though. Rules: If you're new to RP'ing, give the old RP guide a read, if you're too lazy to bother, at least check out the munch section. Please, no spamming. Don't post a question, comment, or anything pertaining to this RP or anything related to... well, anything. Send me a Private Message (PM) instead. Only post your character's profile before the RP starts, and make RP posts after the RP itself is start - there will be an opening post when it starts. Please use OOC to speak, comment or ask about something while not in-character (but you're allowed to use OOC only in your profile post, or RP posts). Keep all posts under the Third Person Writing format, the reason is that we'll be doing joint posts with multiple users quite often. Common sense is essential, imagine yourself in your PC's shoes with both the personality and the background in mind, and play out your PC properly, I'll be supervising joint posts sometimes, but I'm not going to be -always- around. Keep your posts neat and clean! Make sure your English is proper, and try to avoid making grammatical errors. Of course, this includes grammar, punctuation, etc. English not being your first language is an excuse not good enough, stop being lazy, only I can do that. While you're writing RP posts: please note that you're not allowed to control important NPCs without permission, control of unimportant NPCs should be kept minimal. Make sure you literally have time to post everyday, otherwise please don't consider joining, I personally want active players who come online everyday only. Even if around an hour per day is good enough, if you have enough time to make a post or make additions to a joint post, and I'll be content with it (life suddenly causing unexpected problems is a different issue, of course). That said, after some time, we'd be joint posting more than anything (probably), remember that you have to try to be consistent with everyone's writings when joint posting. Character creation: Spoiler: Character profile - fill out the necessary details of your character and write up the profile, then post it in the thread when completed. You also have the option to PM me the profile before posting if you want me to check if you've written it properly according to the instructions provided by the thread. Well, you'd have to PM me the profile either way, especially if you want your character to have a star rank and Alice form. As you're disallowed from assigning them to your Player Character (PC). ----------------- Basic information: Name: The PC's name, write down the full name. Since the RP takes place in Japan, you'd have to come up with a Japanese name, unless it's a foreign student transferring into Alice Academy. Speaking of Japanese names, Surnames comes first, then comes the Other names. Alias(es): The PC's nickname, or aliases, if any. Gender: State whether the PC's sex is male or female. Age: How many years old your PC is. Note that the age limit is strictly 13-15 on this RP, because some of the important NPCs, and the PCs would be students of the Middle School Division of Alice Academy. Appearance: How your PC appears to look; whether attractive, ugly, or passable... well, whatever you decide to cook up for your PC. Please provide a picture, you may opt to describe via words alone, but I'd prefer an image regardless. Personality: How your PC acts in general. Please do write about how your PC's mind works, and what type of a demeanor the PC shows in front of others, as well as the usual inner workings of the mind. Think carefully before you fill out this part, there were RP'ers who sometimes found it hard to play out the very personality of the PC they made. Background: Your PC's past; a summary of how he or she got by life before transferring into Alice Academy. It can be short or long, write it however you like, but don't make too much unnecessary story up about the PC's life after enrolling into the academy. If the PC has been on Alice Academy from when he or she was very young, then you may write about their past life in the academy's grounds, if such is the case, do include how said student is treated by the classmates, though. This goes without saying that you should try to be as creative with your PC as possible, I don't mind a normal-ish 'just another guy' type of character too, though. Make sure the background of your PC justifies the amount of points you put in the statistics' attributes. Affiliation: Any group or particular influential figure your character is affiliated with. Note that most NPCs would be affiliated to one group or the other, but most of the PCs will not be. ---------------------------- Statistics: Much like some of my previous RPs, we're following a game mechanic that defines a PC's talents and abilities via statistics (just like Toaru Kagaku no Railgun RP's mechanics). The statistics in this RP consists of a set of attributes which the PCs would have - most of the important NPCs (profiles on the post below) has such attributes as well. Speaking of attributes, there are five (6) attributes. When creating a PC, you'll have fifteen (15) points to spare for distributing to each of the base attributes. Assuming you wish to make sure your character is mostly decently balanced (well, I sure as hell do), you may evenly spread out two (2) points each to every attributes, and still have three (3) extra points to have an actual field of expertise, and thus finalize the PC's statistics. Note that you cannot have more than 5 points in any of the attributes. The attributes are as follows: Strength: Combat and physical capabilities. It may also pertain to how trained the PC's body is for fighting. Dexterity: This includes speed, finesse, etc. It also includes the PC's stamina. Perception: This regards the PC's sharp senses. Natural intuition that allows them to pick valuable hints, that points towards danger that is sometimes unnoticed till it actually occurs. It also regards how good the PC is at noticing coming attacks, especially in dire situations. Alice: How strong or useful the PC's Alice is. It may be to use the Alice to add additional statistical points (either permanent or temporary) to the other attributes. Intelligence: How smart your PC is, and how fast the PC's brain works. Charisma: From Socializing, persuasion, to having a talkative nature, to even having actual leadership skills - is what this attribute is all about. (Note: Alices can be used to forcibly increase points in certain attribute(s) up to an extent temporarily, depending on the effects of the Alice. There are some Alices that can passively increase attributes permanently, as long as the PC or NPC of the Alice is alive.) --------------------------- Alice: Alice is an innate supernatural ability that one can be born with. Once discovered by the government, they'd be forced - via one way or the other to transfer into the Academy. Depending on the Alice's effects, it is possible to determine a student's position in the Academy as well. Albeit extremely rare, there are few who are known to possess up to three Alices, you'd need special permission if you wish your PC to have more than one Alice. Of course, when an Alice's second or third Alice usually stays dormant until an event occurs and the second or third gets forcibly awakened unintentionally due to the pressure from the situation... or something like that. Most Alices born with two or three Alices had their second or third Alices awakened as they got older; they're mostly High school students, moreover, with Special Star ranking. Anyway, in this section of the profile, you're to add every bit of details regarding the Alice you come up with, or take from the wikia (you can use that page if you're really uncreative). Regardless of the Alice you make or pick, I'd have to speculate and judge if that's something your PC should be allowed to have. Basically, getting something over-powered won't be so easy for the PCs of this RP, they'll likely come with disadvantages even if it does happen. Name of the Alice: Write the name of the ability. Type of ability: There are five types of Alices: Latent type, Technical type, Somatic type, Special type, and Dangerous type (alternatively, you can find explanations regarding the types in the Terminology section below). Alice's Effect: This part should explain how the Alice itself works. I.E: How it works, how much and how often it can be used (this must be adjusted to the Alice Form that I assign to your PC), whether it has any conditions before it can be used properly (if any... an Alice usually doesn't have conditions though), in what manner it works, range or limits (if any), in what ways the ability can generally for used for, and lastly, it's very effect, and side-effects (if any). Also try to include: up to what extent the Alice is controlled by the owner should also be mentioned, as not all Alices can be fully controlled, especially when they're particularly powerful, if not properly controlled, there may be passive effects from the Alice (this includes passively additional points added to the statistics). There is no actual need to point out the pros and cons of said Alice. Star Ranking: One of the ways in which the power level of an Alice gets categorized is through the Star Ranking system of Alice Academy. It is determined not solely by the owner's Alice itself, but also involves the student's grades and good behavior. (Note: This is something I'm going to be deciding for you guys via using a dice that will randomly assign the Star Ranking to your PC, because I suspect most prospective players may choose Triple Star without any prior thinking.) Alice Class: Classes based on Alices are where students explore their powers in their designated class. Classes are separated in five categories: Latent, Technology, Somatic, Special, and Dangerous. Form of the Alice: All Alices have a form or shape, which dictates how often, and how much the Alice can be used at a time. An individual is born with one of the four following form, so it can't be controlled or changed: Childhood, Diffuse, Intermittent, and Limited. (Note: This is something I'm going to be deciding for you guys via using a dice that will randomly assign the Form to your PC.) Alice Restraint(s): Commonly seen in the form of accessories; earrings, necklaces, hats, bracelets, masks, etc. If the Alice is currently uncontrollable for the owner and has unavoidable passive effects, these are used to make them non-passive, and thus controllable. This is done to reduce harm done by the out-of-control Alice, or so the Alice doesn't run out (especially in the case of Alices with Childhood Form). (Note: If your PC's Alice has a passive effect, it may passively give additional statistical points to the attributes at all times. Put the additional points in a bracket beside the actual number of points you put in the attribute [I.E: 2(+3)]. I'll specify how much additional points the passive effects with provide via PM or Skype. Do note that if the extra points from the Alice's passive effect goes beyond five, it'll not count. Any higher extra is simply a waste. This applies only towards passive effects working without Alice restraints.) Mechanics: Spoiler: This section is dedicated to explaining how the RP works in the background with the mechanics that I've set (which is similar to the few past RPs I've hosted, derp). The gist of the whole deal is that in order to find out the result of an action that a PC performs, or attempts - attributes from the statistics of said PC (this applies for an NPC with a proper posted profile) will be used to determine whether it succeeds or fails - in the case that it does succeed, the exact number of the result is also used to figure out the particular result. This is done by me, the GM. I throw a dice (the dice from random.org) whenever I feel the need to, in order to confirm whether an action or attempt initiated by a PC is successful or not. The result of the dice plus the number taken from the certain attribute (attribute which relates to the attempt or action best) are added, and if it exceeds the requirement for success; it succeeds. If it over-exceeds the requirement, a beneficial occurrence may happen as a bonus. Of course, the requirement number is picked based on the situation, depending on how hard the certain attempt is to accomplish. Example: when a PC attempts to do something as simple as punching another PC (or NPC), a dice may be rolled by me to determine whether the PC manages to actually hit the other PC. The dice is rolled due to the possibility that the other PC may be able to respond in time to evade, or even counter; totally dependent on that PC's statistics. To further elaborate with the attributes themselves, here is a more proper explanation (with included examples) regarding how each points on an attribute may effect the PC: Zero (0) - The PC can't do anything in this area. For example: if a PC's Strength is 0, this must mean that the PC has a very weak and slim body, who can't fight, and is unable to carry or handle pressure from heavier objects. This would apply to someone sick with an illness. It could also mean that the PC simply lost their means of fighting, in other words, losing arms or legs in an accident, or a fight. In a case that a PC has zero Dexterity, it could that the PC is complete immobilized and hence may be due to being hospitalized, or can't walk due to permanent injuries. One with zero Alice attribute is most likely someone who lost his or her Alice from heavy usage. One (1) - This means that the PC is really bad for whatever the attribute stands for. A single point in Charisma may mean that the PC is very shy or rarely speaks to anyone, and is terrible at communicating with others, there could be other reasons for it, such as being a mute. A single point in Perception may mean that the PC has terrible senses, it could even mean that the PC is somewhat deaf, or can't see too well. A single point in the Alice attribute may be due to it having the Diffuse form, or it being simply very weak or borderline useless. Two (2) - This is the average level of capability. If you want to make a PC who manages to have an average life, you'd be putting at least 2 on every attributes of your PC. This is the gray spot where a PC is nothing special, yet he or she is not noticeably bad at doing something, whether it is communicating with others, or running, or getting average grades at school. However, this also means that the PC makes no effort to improve him/herself in the attribute in which he or she has 2. Three (3) - This implies that the PC's capabilities are above average. This could perhaps imply that a PC is slightly good at pulling clever tricks or can hack programs or a software or websites via the use of a computer; due to having 3 points on Intelligence. Four (4) - The character is exceptionally good at the activities that involves the use of the attribute. For example, with 4 points of Perception, a PC will have a good chance of dodging an attack at the right timing, or have premonitions of danger from hints alone. Five (5) - The character is a true expert, a genius, or perhaps even famous for how unbelievably good he or she is, at performing something, which is related to the attribute; the character is at the pinnacle at his or her expertise, and has almost no more rooms for improvement (well, at his or her current age, anyway). Alice attribute with five points may imply that the Alice is very powerful, yet hard to control. Some of the graduates of Alice Academy, combined with their Alices, are apparently at said pinnacle of greatness due to how needed and demanded their Alices are, this is one of the reasons why the students are protected as national treasures; which is done by forcibly making them transfer into the Academy when an Alice is discovered. Next, we'll have an in-depth look into the attributes themselves; Strength: Other than physical capabilities and combat abilities, it also determines your PC's current physical state. If you put one point on your PC's Strength attribute; you're implying (as supported by your character's background or personality), that your PC is crippled, or have even lost an arm, or has some kind of a disease that makes his or her body extremely weak, as one point specifically means that a PC has below average Strength. However, this can also imply that the PC's body hasn't developed properly so far, due to being very young. Four points may mean that your character is either very skilled, have learned something such as martial arts - or any other school of fighting techniques - or he or she has developed lots of muscles in the body through harsh amounts of exercises. Strength attribute can be increased regardless, via the use of Alices, or through specially made food imbued with powers of Alice from the Central Town, the amount of additional points that gets added varies. Dexterity: This shows how fast a PC is. From how much or how far the PC can run, or how fast, to having more stamina through each points of Dexterity, it can also be used to allow a PC's mind to concentrate faster to use his or her Alice faster, and speaking of that, this also implies that the PC may have fast-thinking as well. Alices such as Flying Alice can help to temporarily increase Dexterity as well. Perception: Particularly the attribute that helps to have strong senses, keen ones that gains premonition of danger, either via hints or the PC's eyes and ears. The use of Perception varies. Taking proper guesses through hints from words or certain happenings alone, or strong instincts that allows the PC to feel blood-lust, killer intent, violent aura, evil vibes, etc. or simple feeling of a coming attack, or someone about to make a move. It is necessary for either figuring things out, or taking action at the correct timing. Alices such as Cat-Dog Alice can be used to help temporarily increase Perception as well. Alice: An attribute that clearly shows how strong or useful the Alice is. The higher the points added into this attribute, the stronger it is. However, this may also make it harder for the owner of the Alice to control it. If the user is unable to control it properly, the Alice may: go out of control at random times, may give passive statistical effects at all times, may cause health of the user to deteriorate if the user's Alice form is Limited. Intelligence: This attribute determines whether your PC is illiterate, sane, a genius... or one of whom who is known to be insanely intelligent. Above three is required to have the career of a Teacher, and also to be a Scientist, Doctor, and the many fields of expertise that requires knowledge of any type of science. This includes even the skills and fast-paced mind required for being a software developer, to being a cunning hacker. In this RP, due to the age restrictions, PCs may not have more than two points on this attribute unless they're skilled at fields such as software development, hacking, historian, or just being a clever tactician as a middle school student. Additionally, one with higher Intelligence can use their Alices more faster and efficiently, this also means better control over their Alice. This of course doesn't include some of the members of the Technical Alice type, as they have passive intelligence supplied by Alices such as Invention Alice. Charisma: An important trait your PC would require to delve into the society. Points in this particular attribute may be used to get acquainted with others, making friends, showing leadership skills, impressing, deceiving, or even scooping information out of people via thorough persuasion. These can all be achieved through careful use of Charisma; depending on the PC's personality and the base value of the Charisma. Three or above will be required to make speeches that appropriately catches others' attention in several situations, the purpose may even be to move a person's heart, or for even acting - the motive may vary - it all ultimately leads to manipulating people with proper ways of dealing with them, and the effects can be magnified through the use of Alice; such as Sound Alice, or Pheromone Alices for example. Note: Do note that you shouldn't put points on attributes carelessly. You have to carefully explain why your PC's statistics is the way it is through the background or personality (loose implication is okay). Putting three points on Intelligence doesn't mean the PC is above average in terms of being smart, good with grades, with computer, planning, and anything. Each extra points (above 2) are meaning that your character is particularly good with something related to the attribute (I.E: three points on intelligence to mean that the student is very good at memorizing, or a good tactician). About the RP: Spoiler: - You start in this RP with your PC who is at the age of a middle schooler (13-15). The country is Japan, but area in which the events takes place is Alice Academy, where all the PCs and NPCs will be in. The time is set in the same era that we're living in. We'll go with 2009, April 10th (Spring), Monday (please guys, don't bother me so much with days like on previous RP; it's not that important). - You can't play a non-Alice. Unless the Alice of your PC has the Childhood Form. - Your character can't be a member of the Dangerous Ability Class without permission (I'll also have to confirm that the Alice of the PC can be used for harm). - Star Rankings are assigned by me, I'll be carefully looking through the PC's profile before making a decision. Most PCs will be Double Star students regardless, because a students of the Elementary School Division are required to be Double Stars before they can graduate to the Middle School Division. - I know I said I'll be assigning Star Ranks to the PCs, but I'm probably not giving out any Special Star. Mainly because most of the Special Star students are from the High School Division (except for a few exceptions like Natsume Hyuuga from the manga), and that they're known as the 'true geniuses' with formidable Alices. Hence, they'll only be there are NPCs. - Most of the Special Stars are on a league of their own (hence NPCs), either with more than one Alices, or a really strong Alice. Their statistics' limits are broken by me... because I couldn't make sense of their abilities and capabilities with 15 points (sorry about that, thought I could keep them balanced). - Forms of Alices are determined by dice rolls done for each and every PCs (this includes few of the NPCs). This is how it's done. Once a dice is rolled, if the result is: one, then it's Childhood Form. If two: then it's Diffuse. If three: Intermittent. If four: Limited. If five: I decide (hooray?). If six: you get the chance to decide (boo... ?). - The currency on Japan is usually Yen, but in the case of Alice Academy they're called 'Rabbits' ('RT' for short). Each Rabbits are worth 100 Yen. Alice Academy gives allowances to the students every month: 5 Rabbits for No stars, 30 Rabbits for Single Stars, 50 Rabbits for Double Stars, and 100 Rabbits for Triple Stars, and 300 Rabbits for Special Stars. - Every PCs will have to play as middle school students. However, you can have your PC either recently enter Alice Academy as a middle school student (so it'd only been an year or two since the PC transferred to the Academy and said PC may still be unfamiliar with some things in the Academy), or make it so that the PC has been transferred into the Academy many years ago, and naturally graduated from the Elementary School Division. - Age limit is 13-15. - This is more of a request: try to make the character creative to contribute to the uniqueness of the RP itself. There will be a few special NPCs made for the sake of the plot, but I want more interesting things in this RP. What I want are actual interactions between characters and perhaps some battles that won't drag on till the end of time. - I'll be posting results of the dice rolls whenever possible and also may give explanations as so what happens why, and for what reason - after rolling the dices. I may get lazy when I have to write too much for too many dice rolls, though. - Please don't try to make an overly-super-capable character with an overpowered Alice (unless discussed with me about it prior). - The RP will start (there will be an opening post) some time after we have the minimum amount of character profiles submitted in the thread. Minimum number of players required to have the RP started in seven (8), including me. - Please don't make an NPC on your own, unless it's your PC's relatives, if said relatives are siblings who appears on Alice Academy... well, we'll have to talk that out. - Yes, I'm making a Skype chat like every other time I do for an RP. If you don't have Skype, go get it. - It's probably obvious by now, but it may as well be a good idea to PM me the profile of your PC before you post it. I'd have to see if it's properly done and would have to assign Star Ranking and the Alice Form anyway. - Lastly, I'm not your ideal Game Master (GM) who's always right about everything. But my calls does hold weight (because I'm the GM, derp). I'll try to play this out as fairly as possible, I ask all of the prospective players to bear with me. Above all things, let's all have fun, but within the reigns of the rules. Terminology: Spoiler: Note: Ignore this section if you've watched the anime or manga series (because it's a wall of text). However, I'd ask people who haven't watched the anime or manga series to take some time to get familiar with some of the terms and systems that have been adopted into this RP via the series. Most information are given in order to avoid confusions (pretty much spoiler-free). The Gakuen Alice wiki still has much more information, so you may visit that site if you want to learn more. However, be warned that the wiki's pages definitely contains spoilers here and there. This section is for those who barely knows anything about the terminology of the series Gakuen Alice. So basically, this section contains some basic facts from the series. I might have missed a thing or two though, I'll add any such thing if do I realize it. ----------------- Alice: In Alice Academy, each student has a special ability, or power, called an "Alice". This is something special one can be born with, whether they like it or not. It is speculated that most of the Alices' parents are also Alices. Alices can be grouped in several ways, such as in types, which describes the affect of the Alice, and Form, which describes how often the power can be used. The power level is categorized via Star Ranking. There are five Alice types: Latent, Technical, Somatic, Special and Dangerous types. There are four Forms of Alices: Childhood, Diffuse, Intermittent and Limited. Alice Academy: A school in Tokyo, Japan for children born with Alices. When they (government or the academy) find one, they would try to bring the child to this school. Students of Gakuen Alice may not leave until graduation or they if no longer have their Alice. They may write letters, but letters leaving and coming to Gakuen Alice are being screened. The school also gives money to the parents of the students who attend the school. Gakuen Alice consists of four main parts: Elementary School branch, Middle School branch, High School branch and Central Town. Also, there are a lot of forests around the buildings, with names like 'Northern Woods' etc. The Northern Woods is a place feared by many children. Gakuen Alice's school courses are no different from any other school, there are regular courses such as Math and History. However, the big difference is that the students and teachers have Alices. The students can not use their Alice ability during class without permission. There are also Alice based classes for students to attend to learn how to use their Alices. Students are ranked in a Star Rank system by good behavior and grades. The school is separated from the outside world with a tall gate that surrounds the whole area. The gate is dangerous to cross over, because those who do are electrocuted. Once someone passes the gate, the teachers are notified and actions - to return the student to the school - are taken. Other than the gate, the school is also protected by a powerful barrier. Not much is known about the creation of the school and its history. What is known is that the three principals: Principal Kuonji, Himemiya, and Kazumi Yukihira, have been the Elementary, Middle, and High school principals for as long as anyone has remembered. The school is intended to be a place of protection for young Alice users and where they learn how to use there Alice powers. The high security precautions are due to Alices getting kidnapped for their abilities; having them be regarded as "national treasures", as such, the academy has continued to have strict policies of protection for the students from since a very long time, probably from when it was formed. Elementary School Branch: This is the part of the academy where children from the age of 3 to 12 study. Class A (for kids from 3 to 9) and Class B (characters from the anime or manga series were in this class) are in this branch. Middle School Branch: This is the school for students whose age range from 13 to 15. It is also known to be the gossip nest of the academy. This is the division in which our RP will be focused on, as most of the PCs and student NPCs (even teachers) are of this division. High School Branch: The school for the oldest students. No one else except the high schoolers are permitted to go there. No one exactly knows what happens there. There's a rumor that a warp-hole exists in there. There are also strange looking sculptures around the school, which were apparently made by Alchemy Alice, which attacks anyone uninvited. Central Town: A place (image) where Gakuen Alice students can go and spend their money, but must get permission to go first. Strange and unique items can be bought there from Alice merchants. It is stated that it was made by people with Carpentering Alices for other Alices. Students' I.D medals: The students carry I.D. medals that fit in a wallet along with their respective I.D. cards. The I.D. medal has the student's I.D number and a transmitting device in it that was created by someone with an alchemy alice. This can be further explain via an image: click here. Rabbits: The currency which the academy follows. They're only usable in the academy, especially the central town. Each Rabbits are worth around 100 Yen. Star Ranking: In Alice Academy, every student is ranked on a Star system that is based on the individual's Alice power, grades, and good behavior, among other things. Students can receive one of five ranks: No Star, Single, Double, Triple, and Special (here is an image to further describe it). Their rank is displayed by the appropriate number of stars pinned on their shirt or cuff (wherever the student decides to pin them), and may grant them extra privileges or discipline depending on the rank. No Star: Students with No Stars are generally the youngest students in the academy (7 years or younger). They have weak Alices and poor behavior, basically being sub-average students. Since they have a No Star rank, they do not wear any pin on their shirt/cuffs. Since No Stars are generally young, they are not treated worse because of their low rank. However, some older (age 10+) Alices who manages to become a No Star ranking, they may get discriminated in many ways, it may result in the student to be: unable to go to Central Town without a chaperone, subject to extra chores, small food rations, and a general dislike by the teachers. No Stars receive a 5 Rabbit/500 yen (image) monthly allowance (about 5 dollars). Single Star: Single Stars are usually in the Elementary Division, possessing weaker Alices, good behavior, and good grades. Basically, they are slightly below-average students. Although still a low rank, Single Stars are serious students and can possess much future potential. They are represented by one star pin on their shirt/cuff. A Single Star ranking is needed to enter the Elementary Division. Single Stars revive a 30 Rabbit/3,000 yen (image) monthly allowance (about 30 US dollars), as well as regular food portions and not many benefits. Double Star: These individuals are above average, but still not particularly brilliant or special. Most students possessing a Double Star rank are in the Junior Division, but some have been seen in the Elementary Division (such as Sumire). Double Stars have strong Alices, good or great grades, and good behavior. The are represented by two star pins on their shirt/cuff. A Double Star ranking is needed to graduate into the Middle Division. Double Stars receive a 50 Rabbit/5,000 (image) yen monthly allowance (about 50 US dollars), as well as larger food rations and some extra privileges. Triple Star: Triple Star students are above-average students that have very strong Alices and great grades. It is almost unheard of for anyone other than a Senior Division student to possess a Triple Star, and so they are well regarded around the school as powerful and studious individuals. Triple Stars are shown with three star pins on the shirt/cuff. A Triple Star is needed to graduate into the Senior Division. Triple Stars receive a 100 Rabbit/10,000 yen image) monthly allowance (about 100 US dollars) with very large food portions and other multiple benefits. Special Star: Also known as "Principals", Special Star students are the true geniuses of the Academy. There are only six Special Star-ranked students in the entire Academy known currently, posing as truly gifted individuals with formidable Alices and grades. A Special star student is represented by one pin on the shirt/cuff: a single star enclosed in a circle. Special Stars receive a 300 Rabbit/30,000 yen (image) monthly allowance (about 300 US dollars) as well as many benefits and extremely large food rations. Form: Each Alice has one of four possible forms, or shapes. The form cannot be controlled by the individual, and it specifies how much the Alice can be used, and how often: Childhood: The Alice will appear in the child normally at the beginning, but disappears as the individual ages into adulthood. Once the person's Alice has completely disappeared, the individual is dismissed from the academy. Diffuse: The Alice can be used at any time but in relatively low levels of power. Intermittent: The Alice can only be used for a short period, at any time, but at a high level of power. But every time the Alice is used, the Alice shortens until the time when the user loses his or her Alice completely and is let go by the academy. Limited: The power level of the Alice is great and powerful. The Alice may be used as often and as much as desired. However, every time the Alice is used, the user's body deteriorates. Eventually, because of the overusing of the Alice, the user dies an early death. Alice Class/Types: At Alice Academy, classes based on Alices are where students explore their powers in their designated class. Classes are separated in five categories: Latent Type: Latent Alices have to do with "ESP" abilities, and are commonly associated to superheros. Most of the students of the Academy have Latent-type Alices. It's class is the most popular one in the academy. Technical Type: Alices with technical abilities usually has Alices which creates something. Those in this class tend to work independently and sell their works to sponsors. These sponsors help support the club. Inventions by this class are very popular during the Alice Festival. Somatic Type: Somatic Alices include powers related to physical and pheromone manipulation. Basically, these Alices physically change or enhance their users, or the person the Alice is targeted at. Special Type: Students with Alices that do not quite fit in the other groups are put into the Special-type, and so the Alices in the class are usually rare and one of a kind in the Academy. It is the smallest class by far, and the rest of the students think low of individuals with Special Alices. Special-type Alices include, but is not limited to, Nullification, ability to 'live in the mirror world', or even Shadow Manipulation. Dangerous Type: Students with Alices of this type are put into the Dangerous Ability class and forced to do secret missions for the school. The Dangerous Ability class is moderated by the mysterious masked teacher, Persona. The students in this class are also unable to participate in some of the events of the school. One example of a student with a Dangerous Ability is Aoi (the Fire Alice user of this RP) whose Fire Alice has the Latent Type, but is so strong and potentially harmful that it is in the Dangerous Ability Type. Alices Stones: Also called brinjals, those with Alices are able to make Alice Stones, which are stones that have their Alice power in them. These stones are differently colored and the deeper the pigment of the stone, the more feelings and Alice power is applied to it. A legend in Gakuen Alice is that if a couple exchanges Alice stones, they are soul-mates. Also, by using the Stealing Alice one can steal an another's Alice ability and receive an Alice stone(s). Those with the Stealing Alice can further utilize these stones by inserting it others using the Insertion Alice, giving them a "Temporary Alice". Restraints: If one's Alice is considered too strong and a danger to themselves or others, they are usually expected to wear Alice restraints. They come in many forms, commonly seen as accessories; earrings, necklaces, hats, bracelets, masks, etc. Wearing these items will limit the Alice power of the wearer. There is apparently a Black Cat mask which is said to be the strongest restraint, and can only be removed by a teacher. Alice Festival: The Alice Festival is one of the three main events at Alice Academy. The Ability classes (except the Dangerous Ability class) each host a booth. At the end of the festival is an Alice Festival dance, which is a masquerade dance where a legend says the last pair to dance becomes soul-mates. Booths hosted by each Alice classes: Latent - Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan Ride. Technical - Auction of various inventions. Somatic - Snow White in the Woods Play, Alice in Wonderland ride. Special - Aladdin RPG. Sports Festival: It takes place in Spring time, and is a major event that all Alice Academy students look forward to. The school is split up into two teams, the Red team and the White team. The Red team consists of the Special Ability group and the Latent Ability group. The White team has the Somatic Ability group and the Technical Ability group. The Dangerous Ability types are aloud to choose which team to join and are split around 50/50. The Sports Festival includes events such as an obstacle course, relay race, a borrowing race, a cheer-leading contest and "horse race". During the festival all Alices are only allowed to use their Alice three times. They have a sticker on them that keeps track of the amount of times you have used your Alice. Once a student uses their Alice three times, the sticker automatically becomes an Alice surpresser. If the Alice if used anyway the sticker will burst, causing the user to faint. That team is then disqualified from the event. If someone removes someone else's sticker on purpose their team will also be disqualified. Violence is also not allowed, and if you hurt someone, with or without you Alice, your team will be disqualified and you will receive a punishment. Not included in the rules at the beginning, but another way to be disqualified from an event is to have the wrong person participate in an event without permission or notification Christmas Ball: The Christmas Ball preparations are done on December 23th the day before the Christmas Ball. The student body including teachers are divided into two teams, the "Decorating Team and the "Cake Team". It is a choice on what team one wants to be on, but if one team gets too many volunteers, a drawing is done. The preparations are all done in the building of the ball itself. The Cake Team's job is to make a giant cake for the Christmas Ball, and other various desserts such as a solid chocolate cake. The Decoration Team's job is to decorate the ballroom, as well as the giant Christmas tree. The ball officially starts on December 24th or Christmas Eve. Students are dressed in Christmas outfits to celebrate the occasion. The schedule of the day as followed is Free Time, the Gift Exchange, a Pie Competition, Caroling Teams, and the Masquerade Ball. Students are given Christmas outfits to wear to the ball. The girls outfits have two types for each division and boys only one type for each division. Although, the Elementary section boys have two types of Christmas outfits for some reason. Hana Hime Festival: The Hana Hime Festival or Flower Princess Festival is a special event hosted by the Middle School Principal, Himemiya. Due to Himemiya's preference, men are not allowed to go. The invitees are expected to go to the Hana Hime Den where the event will be held and dressed in kimonos. Treats and desserts will be served at the party. At the event invitees will receive a Hana Hime name. The nicknames have a flower meaning to it. Hana Hime Den: Hana Hime Den is the location the Hana Hime Festival and where Himemiya resides. It is incredibly large and spacious, so someone not familiar with the den could easily get lost. The den is safeguarded by Himemiya's Barrier Alice and, because she lives in the den, her Alice is at its strongest at lowering Alice power of Alices. Deep within the Hana Hime den is a dungeon which apparently has a rumor which says that a monster once locked inside it due to it being very dangerous. Some passive effects of other Alices may be dispelled by the user through subconscious use of the Alice, one of said effects makes the user immune to Pheromone Alices. Effect: The Invention Alice, gives the user the ability to invent many unusual and/or helpful things depending on the user's mental state and mood. Range of Effect: Small-Long. Map of Alice Academy: Spoiler: Alice Academy is the place where your PC is going to be living in. Despite this fact not being largely known to the general public; it's a very large campus, to the point that it's awe inducing to those who first enters it. An academy which is backed up internally by the Japanese government, one would think that the way the academy is, is rather befitting. The following image is the map of the academy provided in the manga: There are many unique places in the academy: A: National Alice Headquarters - The place where the teachers apparently reside in. Meetings between teachers, or even principals, as well as officials from the government in charge of the Academy - for making decisions for anything important also takes place in this place. B: Central Town - A town that is mostly comprised of shops, and places that provides entertainment services of many kind. It may not seem like it, but it's made with the use of Alchemy Alice alone. C: Elementary School - The school branch that teaches children from the age of 3-12. D: Elementary School Dorm - Where elementary school students stays in. E: Mr Bear's Guard Cottage - Home to a mysterious bear in the Northern Forest, of which it's builder is unknown... As one of the 'strange things that exist in the Northern Forest', the bear is known to be a guardian of the forest. It is rumored that the bear is dangerous, despite it's appearance. F: Middle School - The school branch that teacher students from the age of 13-15. All PCs are students on this particular school branch, as well as some of the NPCs (and some NPC teachers as well). G: Middle School Dorm - Where middle school students reside in. This is where the PCs and student NPCs will have a room in. H: High School Dorm - Where High school students will stay in. I: High School - The school branch which teachers students over the age of 15. Only high school students are allowed to go there, any uninvited guests are attacked to keep them away. While Amelia was eating, maintaining a model student's smile and mannerisms, and talking with the three new transfer students, her Alice Stone which was in her pocket was in effect. It was an Alice Stone of Telepathy, which allowed her to send her thoughts to anyone, as long as she could properly control it.

"Kage Sono-san, can you hear me? Well, that's a pointless question I guess. Onto business, I have a deal to strike. I was ordered to test if these transfer students are anywhere close to being worthy for entering the Dangerous Ability class. Can you help me with this? With your Alice that is. I'll pay you for this, of course. If your answer is a 'yes' then come to the cafeteria. If no, then don't come. If you don't come within 5 minutes, I'll assume it's a 'no'. 'Kay, cutting transmission now."

It was mostly because the Alice Stone was already over-used, but she ended the telepathy casually as if it had more power left in it. Amelia then drank juice, and smiled, Hope they prove to be at least entertaining, she smirked internally, I feel bad for these three. But an order is an order, right? she whispered to herself while she pretended to be an innocent person to herself mentally. Amelia was pretty damn certain that the money would lure Sono pretty easily. It's a cheap price to pay when she could go scott free from having to use her own Alice.

Sono was getting to the end of his book when his thoughts were forcibly interrupted. Having no other choice, he listened in to Amelia. 'Hmmm, calling in that favor now huh?' he thought to himself. Standing up he snapped his book shut and stuffed it into his bag. Standing up he straightened out his appearance and walked out of the classroom towards the cafeteria. As he made his way down the hallways students avoided his gaze as well as his shadow. The latter was something that Sono always found amusing.

Arriving at the smell of food and idle talk he looked at his wristwatch. He had made it there within two minutes which meant he was good on time. Next he scanned the area looking for Amelia who would no doubt be treating the new students to some food. Amelia's white locks were easy enough to find. Smiling he walked over and picked up some food before taking a seat near to where they were sitting. With proper angling he was able to have his shadow cast towards where they were sitting.

Cutting into his steak he picked up the severed peice with his fork. As he raised his hand to bring the steak to his mouth his shadow connected to Sakura. Moving his fingers he manipulated her arm and forced her to slap Shouta across the face. After which Sono connected to Shouta, and grabbing the water from the table he splashed it into Sakura's face. Standing the two up in fighting positions he focused his Alice on their mouths to stop them from sorting things out. Returning to his meal he kept one eye on his performance.

It was so hard to contain her laughter, but she did regardless, taking note of Sono's presence in the cafeteria, all she has to do is act dumb and clueless, and enjoy the show. She pondered between look away to act clueless, or just continue eating and peek. She chose the latter, fun from watching aside, she had to report the deed at the end of the day. Amelia would rather eat alone, but she loved working up toward that Special Rank... even though it's almost impossible at the moment.

"Ow! Hey, Hiiragi, why did- WHOA!" His arm moved suddenly to splash water all over Sakura's face. "Oh my, I'm so-" Shouta's mouth was then forced shut as his body stood up against his will and assumed a fighting posture. What the fuck's going on? Why are we doing this!? He tried to look over and try to look for who could possibly be manipulating him, but he wasn't in control of his actions. It was rapidly enraging him. He wanted to scream but somehow his lips were sealed.

Sakura was confused; unable to comprehend why her body moved on it's own to slap the boy known as Shouta for no reason. She had no clue why her body was not responding to her will. As she tried to apologize quickly, she felt cold water being splashed on her face instead. Sakura's face turned red with anger due to this action, "What the heck are you doing!! Sakura said as she readied her leg to kick Shouta.

"Rrrrrrrr-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The moment that Shouta could open his mouth again, he let out an ear-splitting roar. One reminiscent of the one he used that injured the student at his previous middle school. His anger boiled over; all he wanted to do was hurt someone. The problem was, he didn't know who. He still had enough focus to try to identify the true culprit.

But then, just as he let out his voice, Shouta came to a realization. His face - and mouth - was facing upwards towards the ceiling, he could also feel a delicate hand keeping it toward said direction. When his Alice wore off, he frantically looked behind, and found a blond haired girl gleefully smiling at him, "Safe!" she exclaimed.

Covering his ears along with all the other unprepared students he tried to keep his focus on the two agitated students, 'What an annoying Alice...' thought Sono as he regained his hearing slowly. Looking over at Sakura he frowned, his shadows retracting back to normal position. Something broke his control on the two, and it wasn't the airhead that just wondered in.

Aoi watched in amazement, as the situation suddenly went from a peaceful lunch time to a commotion. She had no idea why Sakura, nor Shouta fought with each other like that. It's not like they were already in disagreement and were arguing. So it felt rather suspicious. Her food was finished, but she didn't dare leave or stood up, as cold sweat ran down her face; she felt that it was dangerous, or rather, there was a strange vibe from the already-confused pair. Then she witnessed Ichigo doing suddenly moving Shouta's face towards the ceiling forcibly and delicately... despite the unfolding event - she couldn't hear anything - her ears went deaf.

"Just when did she get here from her table!" she asked to no one in particular, astonished. She looked back to Ichigo's table, the classmate who came with was still in her seat at the table over there. But Ichigo somehow soundlessly ran over to this table? Strange, she thought. She then looked arounded, seemed like she wasn't the only one with a pair of deaf ears right now.

Ichigo realized how everyone were starting to make a fuss due to the situation, and looked around, then closed her eyes for a moment, "Hmhmhmhm~!! Hmhmhmhm~!! Lalalalalalalala~!!" a smoothing voice resounded across the cafeteria hall, a cleansing wave of sound could be felt by the students, Aoi swore that she could somehow hear Ichigo's voice despite the fact that any other sounds couldn't be heard. The Vocal Enchantment was in work while Ichigo hummed energetically - spreading her arms out in the air - as soon as she noticed how the Alice's noise may have effected others' ears... after realizing that she couldn't hear anything for a moment, "Mnm... with that, others should be able to regain the ability to hear properly," Ichigo mumbled to herself, then smiled after feeling that it was a good deed done.

Always right when we need you, right? thought Sono as he continued to enjoy his meal.

The melody also cooled Shouta's rage. He opened his fists and the tension drained from his body. He fell back into his seat, already exhausted from using his Alice. Especially since something was holding him back, he put all of his energy into that yell. Shouta panted heavily for a few moments before regaining his composure, and turned his head to look at Ichigo. Is that her Alice? It's nowhere near 'fearsome'... She helped everyone, and I hurt everyone... He let out a sigh. Nothing's changed, has it... Anyways, what in the hell caused me to lose control of my body during that time? Is it someone's Alice? If it is, I'm gonna beat the shit out of them!

Sakura could feel herself relaxing after hearing the soothing voice of Ichigo. Her thoughts of kicking Shouta were already gone. She then begun to wonder why or how the situation led up to her slapping Shouta in the first place, or him splashing the water on her, from his glass, it seemed like even he himself was quite surprised. Sakura then went up to Shouta, "Excuse me..." Sakura said nervously.

Shouta was pulled out of his thoughts after hearing Sakura's voice. "Oh, Hiiragi-san. Uh... sorry... sorry for earlier, I don't know what came over me." He apologized for his actions, despite having no control over them.

"Well you better be sorry, idiot! You didn't even let me explain the situation, then you had to just throw water all over me, idiot!! Sakura couldn't believe what she just blurted out, those were not the words she wanted to say, but they flew right out her lips like always; she couldn't be honest.

"W-what!? You slapped me first! And that wasn't on purpose, something was controlling me; I don't know what, though." His voice trailed off toward the end as he realized, again: She has every right to be as mad as I am. I shouldn't be angry at her for this, either...

Damn this girl, we're her teammates here. What's she doing making it worse for us?! Amelia shouted in her mind, slightly frowned for a split second, but quickly tried to regain her composure, "Oh my, what's going on with you two!" Amelia asked - standing up - pretending to not know the situation one single bit. This is when she could feel attention being drawn towards herself. Whenever she is seen by the majority, people starts to talk about her, she sighed, and sat down again to avoid the masses of students, "I don't know!" Ichigo cheerfully answered, then made a wide smile, "But it's alright now!"

But what's going on though... Kage-san's Shadow Marionette Alice shouldn't have gone out of control like that. Unless it's this girl... it's a possibility. she thought, That cuts it then. Hiiragi-san's Alice is a genuine Nullification Alice. It's up to the teachers to take their time realizing it though. But then, it isn't something he'd want, right? Amelia, pleased, That concludes the investigation on at least one person. Fushiki-san's one is a mystery. I couldn't tell how strong the force of his screeching was even though the noise affected everyone here, and that Kiriya-san's Alice hasn't even been used. Maybe I should just ask for that.

"For causing a ruckus in the cafeteria on the lunch break and breaking peace in the pubic like this. Your punishment is.... hmmm," putting a finger under her chin, Ichigo took a moment to think, "You're not allowed to talk or make a noise! Unless it's to talk with a teacher, talking is henceforth forbidden till the end of the classes! Take your time to think and repent for the deed of misusing your Alice!" or so she said, despite taking a guess of what actually happened. She then looked towards Hiiragi Sakura, "Mnm... " she smiled with slight embarrassment, "Well, you're still having a trial enrollment. So I won't be punishing you. I don't know why you'd slap Fushiki-san, but please make a proper apology to him. One with a sincere, deep bow!"

Sono chuckled inwardly as he finished his meal. He didn't believe that Ichigo didn't notice he was involved somehow. Yet she still punished the new student. Having finished his meal he took the napkin from his lap and dabbed it on his mouth to get any sauce left on his lips. Getting up from the table he took his leave of the lunchroom. He got one of not two of the neew stundets out of the way. He figured his client would be satisfied.

"...Really...? That's... ugh..." Shouta groaned. He didn't expect to be in trouble this soon in yet another school. Sighing, he thought Yep... such is my life. At least this punishment isn't really one. It's not like I have many people to talk to here anyways...

Wow! This is rare, Ichigo is actually acting like the so-called principal student, and is talking down to them. Punishment, huh? Isn't that a little too much, Ichigo? Aoi wondered, asking Ichigo internally, who couldn't hear her, But but but! Ichigo - the idol - acting like a good and strict student is kinda cool! It's a new side of her that I'm seeing for the first time! It's too bad I don't have a camera with me, this is such a good shutter chance too! she cried to herself, as this was a good yet bad a situation for her.

Sakura panicked for a bit, she knew she had to apologize properly, but she also knew that she'd normally always utter things she didn't meant to. She knew that she has to try to apologize properly as she has no intention of leaving a bad impression of herself, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to slap you, I'm not sure what came over me then," Sakura said as she gave a proper, deep bow.

Shouta nodded his head and waved his hand, as if to say "It's fine, don't worry about it."

"Hoshimiya-san, I hope you don't have any qualms in me adding one more tiny bit here: Hiiragi-san, no more calling anyone an idiot in an outburst," Amelia added, Ichigo nodded, "I can't say anything to that, since it is rude. Anyway, I gotta run now," Ichigo then faced the other students, all taking leisure in their seats, "Class will soon begin, you guys should make way for your respective classes soon, too."

"I'll try my best," Sakura said, not sure how well she'd be able to restrain herself. "By the way, if I may ask, where's the toilet? I think I want to go wash up a bit before class starts"

Amelia looked back at her table, I guess I had my fair share of food already, she thought, then answered, "I'll show you. Since it came to this, might as well show the three of you where they are. Follow me."

An uncomfortable feeling from the pit of Shouta's stomach started to take its toll on him. He needed to use the restroom fairly urgently. It's probably a good idea to follow her... That curry went through me quickly!

Ichigo happily hummed a tone while walking back to class, this is when she caught a glance of Miya staring to a far away sight through the window. Curious, she strolled over to her.

"Ah, I've been waiting for you," before Ichigo could speak, Miya turned at the sound of an approaching Ichigo, "It seemed like something happened in the cafeteria, anything to report?" she asked with a smile that radiated warmth and kindness.

"Mnm, let's see. I'm not sure what happened, but Fushiki-san and Hiiragi-san had a small fight due to a misunderstanding," Ichigo answered, scratching the back of her head.

"Transfer students fighting each other? That doesn't sound good."

"Mhm! Fushiki-san used his Alice. He had a scary face and it seemed like his face was about to explode!" Ichigo energically explained, then performed a poor imitation of Fushiki Shouta's expression by puffing her cheeks to the limit, "But I had them stop. They apologized to each other too!"

"Hmmm? That sounds like plenty enough reason for me to punish them," Miya said, suddenly in a very good mood, Ichigo had a drop of sweat running down at the back of her head, "I already intervened and punished Fushiki-san. So I think you don't need to punish her, Sensei!"

"Aw, really? That's too bad," Miya sighed, losing whatever good mood that popped up from within her.

"Now that I've reported. I'm off to class," Ichigo said, gave a slight bow before running off to class. But just as she did, she saw Akizuki Ine walking towards the class, "Akizuki-saaaan!" she called out.

"Eh? Ichigo-san?" Ine said, not expecting to be called "What's up?"

"You're going to make those transfer students your friends, right?"

"Of course" She smiled broadly "as soon I get a chance that is"

"Then I'll introduce you to one of them! She's my best friend," her expression reverted to her old big smile, and happily pulled Ine to the class. It seemed like Aoi just entered the class, probably along with Amelia and the others, but she separated from them and got back to her respective seat.

Ichigo instantly sprinted over to her seat, which is technically the same as going for Aoi's seat, since it's on the same bench, dragging Ine along with her like the wind "Aoooooiiiii!" she called out to her. There's someone I want you to meet!"[/color]

"Yes?" Aoi responded with a friendly smile, "Ah, it's that person," she calmly looked at Ine, and remembered how she was punished for being late. She indeed held some resemblance to Ichigo. No wonder they get along well.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you, Kiriya Aoi here," unlike Ichigo, Aoi had a more cool and composed air to her, but was still polite and friendly instead of being downright cold and expressionless.

"Nice to meet you Aoi-san" Ine said with her usual cheerful tone, perhaps even more cheerfully than usual as Ine loved to meet and make friends with new people. "I'm Akizuki Ine, you can call me Ine" She said

"Hello, Ine-chan! You seem somewhat like Ichigo. I can see why you two are good friends," Aoi said, without any hidden meaning behind her honest impression.

"Me? Like Ichigo?" She asked bewildered "You must be making some kind of mistake Aoi-san, Ichigo is a model student, I'm just a stupid glutton" Ine looked downhearted at the comparison

"Ehh? I didn't mean anything complicated like that!" Aoi quickly responded, feeling that she may have unintentionally hurt Ine, "I'm making a comparison on a more basic level. Both of you are bright and energetic, love food, and seem to just get along!"

"Mn, mn!" Ichigo nodded at Aoi, then faced Ine, "That's not true, I don't think you're a stupid glutton, so please don't say such things about yourself!" she pleaded with a sad face.

"Thanks Ichigo-san" She said suddenly perking up, however she still looked slightly unhappy, her eyes had lost her sparkle, "I don't know what came over me to say something like that" She said smiling again.

"Mhm. Just stay positive, and everything will be just fine. That said. It really is a pleasure to meet you. Please take care are of me from now on, Ine-chan... aaaand if you need cleaning help, I'll help out!" Aoi said, giving a wink.

"You saw that?" She said "I'm kinda embarrassed" flustered "it doesn't happen often! Honest."

"Well, my job as a new student is to watch and learn. So I watched. I think what you guys did is pretty fun though," Aoi said, "Maybe it's because you've been here for quite some time, but doing something like that with others - all of whom are Alices with mysterious super powers - sounds like something really fun."

"That said, Aoi. You should meet the other Aoi of this class," Ichigo happily suggested, making Aoi confused.

"Eh? The other Aoi? Don't tell me..."

"Mhm! We have another girl known as Aoi. She's also a nice person. Although she's absent for some reason," as Ichigo explained. She heard the bell chime. Miya entered the class with perfect timing, she was probably bored from waiting, "Ine-chan, I'll be talking to you later then," Aoi said, preparing to take out her notebooks. If it was good grades that can help her achieve a good Star Rank, she'd gladly start taking the classes seriously. Studying is one of her stronger points after all.

"Bye Aoi-san, if you need me I'm only over there" She said pointing to her seat two benches in front "although you probably would be better off with someone else for your schoolwork" She laughed taking her seat.

Aoi smiled while Ichigo waved her hand towards Ine, That would be another similarity to Ichigo... but she's sorta changed now. I wonder how she is with grades these days, she thought.

As Miya started to speak, Ichigo peered to the right, and found Kage Sono, and Amelia's presence, especially Amelia's piercing gave, Ichigo gave a forced smile that reeked of an apology, Seems like I'll have to explain myself and apologize to them later. But I won't let them do anything bad to these new students. Nor would I let them pull them to the darkness of this academy, with such resolute thoughts, Ichigo shoved her serious-side aside, and returned her focus to class.

The bell chimed again, and then students could finally relax. Classes had finally ended. Aoi could finally find herself relaxing, putting away her text books and stationery items. "Haaah, it's been so long since I've attended a class. It feels sorta tiresome now," she commented, sighing, expecting Ichigo to somewhat sympathize, but she looked to her right; Ichigo was not there. Was this de ja vu? She found Ichigo chatting with others before the door to the very right.

Amelia walked straight to Aoi, and smiled, "This time I'll be showing you guys to the dorms," Amelia said, before Aoi could ask, "May I have you gather the other two for me? I need to go talk to Hoshimiya-san about something, for a bit."

Aoi simply nodded, and called out towards Shouta and Sakura after going over to them, then had them wait for Amelia towards the door... close to where Ichigo was surrounded by her fans. A repeat of a certain scene where Ichigo converses with a massive amount of students at the same time.

"Hmm..." While Shouta waited for Amelia, he was trying to recall where any nearby exits to the school were. During class, he was reminiscing about his family, especially his brother, who Shouta has played with and protected his entire life. He couldn't stand the fact the he wouldn't see them ever again. At least, not for a long while. So, he decided that he would need to escape from here if possible.

We're pretty far from the headquarters, so it's probably not the way I'm getting out. I wonder if there's one near this middle school... He thought long and hard about any maps he may have seen, but he was drawing a blank. Whatever, I'll just run for the gate if I ever see it. If anyone wants to stop me, they'll have a fight on their hands! I won't go down easily. This Alice of mine should give me the edge, right? Shouta, himself, didn't know the true extent of his power yet, but he assumed it was strong, given the results of the previous two times he had activated it, In any case, I'd need to find an exit first. I'll follow along for a while longer, but I'm getting out of here the next chance I get...

Sakura continued to think about the incident that took place in the cafeteria, and kept wondering what actually caused the issue in the first place. She couldn't tell why she slapped Shouta while not having any intention of hitting him, nor did she want to get in trouble, especially on her first day here, Why did my hand move like that, it was as if someone else was controlling my body, but that should be impossible... As much as Sakura thought about it, she couldn't come to a solution, Maybe there's more to this school than I think...

"Sorry for the wait," Amelia apologized, then gestured towards the door like before, I'll be taking you three to the Middle School Dormitory. I've spoken to Miya sensei, turns out you three are excused from having to do Alice Classes today, since you three arrived here just today," Amelia explained while she walked with the other three.

If nothing else, I can sneak out of my dorm at night and find a way out that way. Shouta followed behind Amelia, keeping a few feet of distance between her. "Wait, there are Alice classes? What are those for?" He was still curious about how the Academy worked, and he may as well learn more about it now, in case something goes wrong and he is unable to leave.

"Ah, yes. Alice Classes are basically extracurricular classes. The classes focuses around every individual's Alices. You can learn to control your Alice, or train to control it," Amelia said as she continued to walk, "There are separate Alice Classes, based on the five Alice types."

"Hmm. Interesting, that sounds like a fun class," Aoi said, "But I'm more curious about the five Alice types you mentioned. What's that about?" she asked, getting more and more interested on Alices in general.

By this time, they just faced a totally different environment. It was mostly green; it was outside the building. The wind gently swept by, making Amelia's silver hair flutter about, "They're basically how we tell what kind of an Alice everyone has," Amelia brushed the back of her back past her hair, "Latent, Technical, Somatic, Special, and Dangerous Ability. These are the five types known in this academy. Based on your Alice, you'll be catergorized to an Alice type, and then participate in your respective Alice type's class. That's basically the gist of things."

I can't see an exit, yet... Just how secluded is this place? Shouta cursed internally while he scanned the environment around him. He was only partially tuned in to the conversation, but was able to catch enough of the details from it. I wonder what's up with that 'Dangerous' class... What kind of Alices do those students have?

"Hmm... then what do my Acting Alice fall under?!" Aoi asked, totally excited from this information. There was also the possibility that she could learn to do greater things with her Alice.

"Hmm... Acting huh?" Amelia stopped walking to ponder for a moment, "I don't know what type your Alice is categorized as by the authorities. However, my personal guess is either Somatic, or Special... most likely the former," Amelia started to walk again, "You can easily influence others with that Alice, I presume? That should fall under Somatic batch of Alice."

"Really? Hmm... judging from your description, Ichigo's Alice can also influence others, right? Like, with the Vocal Enchantm-," before Aoi could finish her sentence, Amelia interrupted, "Hoshimiya-san is in the Dangerous Abilities class. She's been in there for more than half an year now," Amelia said, knowing that Aoi may find it unbelievable, she didn't dare look back at Aoi's face after speaking the fact.

An alarm rang in a certain someone's room, a little boy was doing something on his desk in Class. A toolbox vibrated from inside his desk. The boy said, "Ah, it's time for that class. I should go, don't want to be late," said the boy. He took his sketch book, and his tools from under his desk, clearly labeled 'Property of Kouzuki Ing' on the top side of the tool box. Ing stepped out of the class, and pressed a button on his tool box. Stomping sounds could be heard as Ing positioned himself sitting on air. A huge Caterpillar with a chair at the front of it's face took caught Ing, with said chair. Ing then pressed another button after sitting on the chair, which moved up and placed itself on the head. An antenna-like steering wheel popped out, and Ing quickly caught hold of it and headed to a room in the middle of the school building, the Technical Classroom.

Ing's ride moved as fast as it could to the class since he really wanted to finish his exosuit that he created recently. He ignored the screaming girls that saw his ride on his way to the Technical Alice. A few minutes later, it stopped right in front of the door, and the chair moved back to the front side of the caterpillar. Ing stepped down and patted his caterpillar ride. "Go back home. Thanks for bringging me here," Ing said and his ride ran away to somewhere only Ing knows.

"Now then," Ing said as he slide open the door. He took a deep breath, taking in the wonderful fragrance of metal that hung in the air, there were also various other smell mixed along with it, including paint and other things, which made the smell all the more wonderful for him, Mnn~ Smells like home," Ing thought as he stepped in and walked quickly to his workstation. He put his tool box down including his sketch book and walked over to his partially done exosuit.

"Hello, Kouzuki-san," she greeted. It was a girl who wore a rather confident, yet scary smile on her face, but it disappeared just as spoke out the next sentence she had in mind, "I've heard that you're a good Alice; one with a good Invention Alice, that is. I was wondering, do you take requests?" she asked, her expression now seemed somewhat bland and rigidly cold, but hints of said coldness was not apparent from her sweet voice.

"Hm?" Ing heard a voice and quickly looked at the source. "Ah, yes yes, of course. I do take requests, um. . .what was your name again? Ing asked as he tried to guess what kind of request that she has in mind.

"It's Chiyode Maya. It's unfortunate that you don't know my name despite being from the same class as me," Maya replied, making a forced smile, feeling disappointed. Maya then resumed her expressionless face, "My request is basically... fingers."

"Ah, I'm sorry about that, Chiyode-san," Ing said as he paused for a moment. Fingers? Ing tilted his head and said, "Can you specify the request, Chiyode-san?" Ing said with a confused look on his face.

"Mnm... how should I explain it. It kinda hurts when I try to play the piano these days. So I wanted something like a specialized pair of gloves that could allow me to play it with ease. You think that's possible?" Maya asked, feeling somewhat hopeful.

"Ah, I see," Ing nodded his head and continued, "Yes it's possible. I think I might be able to make it in 1 or 2 days. I only need one thing from you," Ing quickly took his sketchbook, a roll of measuring tape, and a pencil.

"Ooh, that's nice!" Maya exclaimed; an expression that could truly be defined as joy appeared on her face, but the expression was quickly restrained and her face returned to be the same old bland, "Hm, and that would be?" Maya asked, slightly confused. If it's money, he'd just have to mention 'money', after all.

"Give me your hand, please," Ing said as he unrolled the measuring tape and continued, "I need to measure the length of your hand first."

"Ah, sure," Maya replied casually, realizing that he indeed needs to measure the length of her hand, she then leaned forward, and pulled her right hand forward for Kouzuki Ing to do his job.

"Perfect!" Ing pulled the measuring tape and hovered it over Chiyode Maya's hand. Ing then asked, "Also, I forgot to ask," He wrote down the length and moved to her fingers and measured it also. "What color would you like for the gloves?" Ing asked as he wrote down the numbers.

"Black should be fine. Make it long so that it covers most of my arm," Maya said, giving a wink, "Just to make it look fancy," Maya then leaned closer to Ing, straight to his ears, "Here's the real part of the deal though, do you think you can do something special in the fingers?" Maya said, revealing an utterly evil smile, along with an eerie aura. It'd be more befitting to add that she seemed like a cunning fox making a deal, "The finger part of the gloves. Make it so that they can generate electricity. Is it possible? I'll pay double," she whispered to his ears.

Ing stepped back as he finished writing and listening to her request. "Sure thing, I'll do as you requested," Ing said as he put down his items back. She's planning something dangerous alright. I'll just go with the flow and do as she said for now. Ing returned back to her. "About the payment. . ." Ing paused for a moment and continued, "Give me 200 RTs, and that includes the payment for your special request, Chiyode-san." Ing offered.

"Very well. I'll pay when I get the requested item then," Maya said, glad to have the deal done, I hope he doesn't think that I'm actually planning something, though... I just want something cool for self-defense. Am I too strange for just that? I wonder, Maya thought to herself, feeling slightly awkward for making that special request. She then smiled, "Mn, I guess I'll play the piano despite the finger-pain anyway, I don't want to get rusty with it after all," she then walked off, back to her side of the room... more so, she actually had her own room which didn't allow any sound to escape from it.

Ing sat down on the arm of his exosuit and thought, Let's see, with hands like hers, I can make something even more amazing, not only electrocuting someone when she touches them, she could actually throw the electricity at her targets, making it good for close and ranged combat. But then again, doing that might give her some sort of feedback on her hands, maybe a light electrocution on the tip of her fingers. Ing wrote down his ideas on his scrap book and drew the basic outline of the gloves. He put his scrapbook and jumped down from the arm. He began doing the request.

"How at all is that a dangerous ability? Her power helps people." Shouta thought out loud. He still remembers the melody that restored everyone's hearing and calmed him down from his enraged state. He couldn't imagine how it could be used for harm.

"No definite facts were announced, but if you're curious, ask the gossipers about the rumors surrounding Hoshimiya-san. Thankfully Middle School is known to be the maker and spreader of rumors. You may learn an interesting thing or two, albeit none are proven to be true."

What's the point, then... He wasn't interested in confirming rumors, but it still bothered him that someone like Ichigo, with that kind of an Alice, was considered 'dangerous'. Several theories came to mind, but none seemed to make much sense to him. Then again, what here does make sense?

Shouta considered the possibility of Ichigo's Alice being used with the opposite effect somehow, but with no ideas as to how that could occur. He even considered that she may have another Alice that could be categorized as 'dangerous'. This seemed even less likely to him. Maybe it's worth asking about another time, but that can't possibly be right... can it?

"That said, I could just tell you the truth about Hoshimiya-san. I also am - after all - a member of the Dangerous Abilities class," Amelia then expressed, with a bland and pale expression, "Then again, they'd probably punish me for that..."

"I'll hold you to that..." Shouta said, If I'm not out of here by tomorrow.

"P-Please tell me, exactly what happened to Ichigo!!" Aoi exclaimed, her eyes wet with tears out of worry.

Amelia coolly turned her head, peeking at Aoi's face from the corner of her eye, "If you're really that concerned, why not ask her yourself? You are her childhood friend, right?" she then ruffled her hair that got in the way of her eye-sight, as if dismissing the matter completely.

Sakura carefully listened to the conversation, despite not understanding how the school worked; as this school has a rather alien feel to it, with it not being a mere high-class students' school. Since all that she saw and heard in this school denies the misunderstanding she had of this place. But then, she started to wonder, if this is a school for people with Alices, just what kind of Alice does she herself has? With such curiosity, she asked, "Excuse me, I've been curious for a while now, but would you happen to know what type my Alice is, Amelia-san? I don't believe I've ever been told."

"Mn... " seemingly perplexed, Amelia thought for a while, she spoke hesitatingly; completely unsure, "Maybe... Latent?" she placed her hand below her chim to think, "Hm, probably not. From what I heard your suspected Alice is extremely rare. So you usually almost never see it, much less discover it," coming to a decision, Amelia stated her guess, "It's a hunch, but it might just be the Special Type."

"I see. Well, I guess I'll be learning more later, then," Sakura said, not very satisfied with that reply.

Even as a class rep, she wasn't someone who'd know everything, she wanted Sakura to understand that small fact, but she wasn't sure if Sakura would understand. There wasn't anything that Amelia could reply with - to that bland and disappointed response from Sakura, either. Sakura indeed had a lot to learn, like how the students of the Special Alice type's class are treated like outcasts, or annoying because they're all carefree and doesn't care about the school's rules, but Amelia refrained from talking about that. It's something she'd just have to go out there and learn for herself, Amelia really likes to believe in the phrase 'seeing is believing'.

They then appeared before a building that extended quite a long distance to both left and right. The design and the visible architecture seemed rather old - like all buildings in the campus - but it was beautiful in it's own way, "And here we are. This building is known as the Middle School Dorm. Our Dorm Mistress is uhh... " Amelia sighed, "... Miya sensei. Who knows why, but she has this job, too. But she's really lazy, so her doll acts in her stead. It's a wonderful replacement for her, if you ask me," said Amelia, smiling with a tiny hint of relief. Other than that, she smiled purely because the doll, is a rabbit which is irresistibly cute. Shoving her imaginations of the doll aside, Amelia then entered the dormitory.

Recovered from her severely sad state, somewhat, Aoi commented, "Our sensei is also the Dormitory Mistress too?!"

"I know, right? There's a limit to all the bad luck. But look on the bright side, we have her replacement she works in her stead 70% of the time here," Amelia explained, relieved from the bottom of her heart.

Upon entering with the others, there was a doll waiting for the others. It had pink skin, a pair of long ears... and a cute, round face. It was literally short and tiny, and just from the looks of it, one would only think 'so small!', or 'so cute!', but in actuality, it's strangely quite strong as a fighter.

Aoi smiled, Ichigo probably finds this doll to be so cutest thing in this world. But what's it doing here... ?

It was unassuming to Shouta, though. If this is what's gonna try to stop me, I may be able to just waltz out of here.

Seeing the doll of the dorm, Sakura couldn't believe how adorable it was. To think that it's actually a doll that can move and talk. How amazing. But it's cuteness made the most impact on her regardless, rather than the fact that it's alive. She could feel herself going up to it, and hugging the life of the stuffed rabbit doll, but stopped herself from doing so, Control yourself Sakura! It'll be rude just to cuddle it like that.

"Miya-sama has informed me of the three new students. I am the rabbit Clara, who works as a replacement for Miya-sama," the apparent talking stuffed rabbit doll introduced itself, it's voice sounding sweet, squeaky, and somewhat childish, "Pleased to meet you three, Fushiki-sama, Hiiragi-sama, and Kiriya-sama. I'll be showing the way to your rooms," pointing it's tiny hand toward the corridor, it started to walk- no, hop, in a rather cute way, "Please follow me!"

"W-Woah! It spoke, and it can even move too!" Aoi exclaimed, truly surprised, her expression lost her composed smile as she pointed towards the doll.

The stuffed rabbit doll turned it's head, "Oh dear, new students sure know how to be surprised," Clara the doll seemed disappointed.

"I-I'm sorry... Clara-san, please forgive me! I'll try to be more accepting of things from now on!"

"Alright. Thank you very much for taking so much of your time just to speak to me," Ichigo said to the ones who had kept her surrounded for so long, "I have something to do now. So I must make way to the faculty room. Please excuse me," she gave a light now, then ran over to Ine.

"Are you free now? Or do you have something to do, Akizuki-san?" Ichigo asked.

"Right now? Yeah I'm free" Said Ine nodding her head "What's up?"

"I have some free time today, so I want to visit the Central Town to have something sweet!" Ichigo said, thrusting her arms up with excitement, knowing that Ine is someone who knows this feeling, "Want to go together and have a good time, Akizuki-san?" Ichigo offered, bringing forward her hand towards Ine.

"Sure" Ine said with a happy smile "I'm always up for something sweet!" She said taking Ichigo's offered hand.

"Alright! To the faculty office!!" Ichigo exclaimed, running off with Ine.

"Well, I have some things to do for now. I'll show you guys around the academy tomorrow. Clara, please take care of these three," Amelia said, with the smile that made her seem rather mature, she gave a light bow with her bow before elegantly walking off. Clara replied with a simple, "Understood," and continued on it's hopping trip while the others followed.

"I wonder what Amelia-san has to do now of all times? I'd rest in my room for a while, if I were her," Aoi spoke to no one in particular as she wondered.

Clara spoke while moving forward slowly, "It's because she is an active Alice who aims to get the Best Students' Award. She probably has class rep work, or studying to do, or maybe participate in her type's Alice class. It could even be a simple trip to the Central Town for shopping!"

I really doubt that last one... Shouta rolled his eyes. What is with this thing, anyways? Does it really work on its own? Or is it 'preprogrammed' in some way?

"Woah, as expected of Alice Academy, despite one being isolated from the rest of the world, there is so much to do everyday, huh?" Aoi feeling slightly astounded, made a remark, but then questioned again, "But wait, what's the Best Students' Award?"

"It's best to aim for it, for it is what allows you to go visit your parents for a week!"

"Woah! Really?!"

"...Visit parents..." Those words resounded in Shouta's head. He listened more intently to the doll's words.

"Yeah."

"Excuse me, but how many students can win this award, more than one, or just one?" Sakura wondered. She thought that it might be best to aim for this award to visit her parents sooner, rather than after graduation. Though she didn't know what kind of response she'd get from her parents as she left without telling them anything, "I wonder what they are doing right now."

"Only one from what I know. If you're good at studying, go for it. You need to score higher than anyone else for it though."

"But wait, I was told by Miya sensei that I wouldn't be able to leave until I graduate from High School though," Aoi said, surprised. It seemed obvious that only one student would get the award. But knowing this, Aoi could also prepare for the award. Not that she aimed to visit her family, but it probably has it's merits.

"It's the only way to visit your family. The only other way than to graduate is to become a Principal Student. Although, Principal Students rarely ever uses their status to visit their parents, from what I know anyway."

"How could someone become a Principal student? I'm curious."

"I see, I see. Thanks for the info. You seem to know a lot of things, huh?" impressed, Aoi praised the hopping stuffed rabbit doll. Then looked towards Shouta, "Isn't that something you become by getting the Special Star rank?"

Clara explained, "That's correct, Aoi-sama. However, Principal Students are Special Star ranked students. You can only get this rank by being a Triple Star who gets top marks all the time, follows the academy's rules, tries to be a good model student, aaaaand by entering the Executive Student polls."

Clara spoke again, "Also, Aoi-sama, since I have nothing much to do. I tend to listen to others' conversation. Since Miya-sama is not around a lot of the time, I listen to others talking about rumors, strange stories, and all. It's not half-bad, really, and that's why I know a lot of things, albeit my information and knowledge are quite random," Clara spoke, sounding slightly sad and disappointed. Perhaps it's because she really likes to have Miya's company.

"I see... " Shouta replied dejectedly. That'll be difficult, considering me. I can't wait that long for either one of those, especially for only one week, either. I want to see my family, sooner rather than later.

Licking on her ice cream, Ichigo was walking in a strange-looking town, alongside her was her foodmate- classmate, who too, was licking on an ice cream, "It's so good! I never get tired of this!" she said to no one in particular, with her bright smile. Then looked at Ine, "Is there something expensive you want to eat? I might be able to afford it," she offered. Eating with others does make food taste better, after all.

"Well" Ine began "There was a delicious looking cake in that bakery we just passed, did you see it? The huge one with all the cream and strawberries?" At this, a tiny amount a saliva passed from Ine's mouth, she was drooling at just the thought of having that entire cake in front of her "It looked really expensive though... at least let me pay for some of it, after all, you already helped me out with cleaning today".

"Mnmmmm, really?! Let's go buy that!" Ichigo exclaimed with excitement, it almost seemed like there were stars shining around her with along with her smiling face, but it quickly reverted back to normal, "Hmm, you don't really have to pay for a reason like that. I did something a friend usually would. But if you insist... you treat me to something instead!" Ichigo thought up the idea as she spoke. Being a hardcore food-lover, this was the perfect idea to her.

"OK" said Ine, equally as excited by the prospect of cake "it's just a little bit behind us", at this she turned around and headed in the opposite direction, the thought of eating cake now her top priority. With Ichigo close behind her Ine reached the bakery. Seeing the cake she wanted she automatically found her face glued to the shop window

"Ehehehehe" She giggled audibly before pulling herself together and entering the bakery.
"Good afternoon" She called out to the shop keeper. "Could we get one of those cakes? The big one with all the cream and strawberries?"

"Sure missy" He said with a smile "That's 5 rabbits for a slice"

"Eh, but mister I want the whole cake" said Ine slightly confused about how he could have missed that.

"The whole-Eh!!?" Exclaimed the shop keeper, regaining composure he said "Sorry missy but that's quite expensive, it's one of our best" Still smiling, this time apologetically "It's priced at 50 rabbits"

Ine looked downhearted at this, her eyes glazed over in disapointment. She then checked her wallet. "I've only got 30 rabbits left" she said looking like she was about to cry. Turning to Ichigo she said "I'm really sorry, and I promised I would treat you as well".

Ichigo placed her hand on her shoulder, "It's okay. I did say that I'd pay for this one. You can treat me when you get more rabbits later," Ichigo then faced the shopkeeper with her gleeful face, "We'll be taking that cake, please!" she said energetically.

Both Ichigo and Ine then took a seat at a free table and waited to be served.

"I hope it's served soon! Hmm, what should we be getting next..." Ichigo thought for a moment before getting an idea, "How about Howalon?! It'd be perfect."

"Sure!" Exclaimed Ine "I could go for some Howalon". Ine loved anything sweet. It was at this moment the huge cake arrived

"Amazing" said Ine "It looks so delicious". Ine began to tuck in to the cake.

Ichigo neated took a slice with her fork, then immediately picked her strawberries before anything, "Delicious!" she blurted out while still munching.

"Ibh rhbly ib" said Ine with a mouthful of cake.

"Mnm! Mnm!" Ichigo nodded while finishing the slice, then proceeded to the next. If it were anyone else, they'd slowly savor the taste due to the spine-shivering price.

When the cake was thoroughly demolished by the glutton-duo, the shopkeeper was left amazed.

"Well I'll be, you two really did finish the whole thing" He said.

The pair left the shop, thanking the shopkeeper, and moved onto the final treat of the day: Howalon.

The shop had steam coming out from furnace behind it. It was shop in which Howalons are sold. A shop that had an aged man as it's shopkeeper, who had moustache, and strangely wore a monacle. His attire consisted of black coat and long black pants, along with a black hat, Ichigo saw him giving a box away to a customer. As expected of the most popular shop on Central Town, there's almost always a customer... unless they're sold out.

Ichigo went up to the shopkeeper, one small box of Howalon would be around 10 rabbits, she remembered, "One small box of Howalon please!" she said while continuing to spread her smile around the world.

"I apologize, but we're sold out of all the small boxes for today," he answered with a bow.

"Already?!"

"Yes, unfortunately, we only have one large box left."

"We'll take it!"

"Maybe we should share with our classmates..." Ichigo said after receiving the box, and paying for it, "Or should we just have it for ourselves?" she pondered for a moment, "I want Aoi to taste some though. She probably never had these before. As she transferred into the academy today. Anyway, let's find a place to sit and dig in!" Ichigo said after facing Ine, striking her fist towards the sky with excitement.

"Clara, I'm a bit curious here, but are there more robot dolls like you at school?" Sakura asked curiously.

"That's... well, there are many robots, probably some dolls out there too. But I think it's about time you guys know, that I'm not a robot," Clara said, looking down towards the floor as she stopped hopping.

"Huh?!" Sakura was shocked at Clara, who responded saying prepostrous things she couldn't believe. Clara could be anything but a robot to her, there is simply no way it could be anything else when Sakura initially thought about it, seeing as the academy is kinda strange, and there was a robot in the cafeteria early today, it only seemed obvious. "Then if I may ask, what are you then, Clara-san...?"

"Hm? I'm a stuffed rabbit doll of course!"

"Eh? Really?!"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah."

"How is that even possible. There's no way a stuffed doll can move or talk like you!" Sakura exclaimed, not being able to comprehend how a stuffed doll could be alive.

"With Alice anything is possible!" at this moment, they walked up the stairs to the second floor of the dorms.

"I really need to learn more about the Alices. I wonder how I even got into this school now," Sakura wondered as she still had a hard time believing Clara was just a stuffed doll.

"Well, you'll probably find out your Alice soon. Anyway," Clara stopped in front of a door to the far left of the corridor, "This is Kiriya Aoi-sama's room, it's for temporary use, Single Star ranked students' rooms, we don't have more than three of such rooms so it's perfect for you guys.Otherwise, one of you may have had to stay in the Attic," Clara said, pointing Aoi to her room, she then hopped towards the next, "This is Hiiragi Sakura-sama's room, the one next to it, is Fushiki Shouta-sama's room.

"I hope all of you have a good rest. It must have been a tiring day today, if you have any questions of concerns, don't hesitate to ask me or Miya-sama!" Clara then hopped away in a manner that could only be described as 'cute', from the scene, leaving the three to their rooms.

"Alright! Thank you for showing me to my room, Clara-san," as Aoi thanked Clara, she could see her luggage beside the bed in the room, "I'll be resting in my room then, see you two soon," she flashed her usual cool smile before she walked into her room.

"...Uh, thanks?" Shouta's response was delayed; Clara had already hopped away. He went over to the door into his room and only took a peek inside at first. He was relieved to see the bags that his parents packed him settled near the entrance on the inside. That's nice of them, I guess. I didn't know how I'd get them here when I needed to attend classes, he then turned towards Aoi and Sakura, and wanted to bid them farewell somehow, but he couldn't find the right words. Should I just say 'good night', or 'see you later', or...?

"Bye, Clara," Sakura said as Clara went away, "Have a nice rest, Kiriya-san. Fushiki-san, I hope we can get along, and I'm sorry for earlier, I've had no intentions to cause such an incident, really," Sakura bowed again, then went into her room. Inside her new room, Sakura could see her luggage placed next to her bed. Sakura then started going through her bags, where she found a picture of her parents, with her in it, "I wonder if they're doing okay," Sakura feeling saddened, thought out loud. "No, this isn't the time to feel regrets, I'm doing this to help them! I should feel happy, not sad!" Sakura tried to encourage herself with such words, with which she could take pride on. She took the picture to her chest, and laid down on bed, talking to herself, "Though, I wonder what my Alice could be. Aoi and Shouta seem to have their own Alices already. From the looks of it, you need an Alice to join this school, which must mean I have one then..." Sakura soon drifted to sleep while pondering about such matters.

With Ichigo's interruption, Sono wasn't able to approach his client to collect his fee. However, he wasn't hurting for RT, so this could be done later. Feeling a coughing fit coming on, Sono quickly pulled out his hankerchief and held it to his mouth. Coughing into it he wiped his mouth before examining the cloth. Tiny red spots decorated it like dye. The consequence for using his power. Smirking, he folded it back in to a triangle and placed it in his back pocket. That was when he sensed something or someone approaching.

The sound of walking echoed loudly; Sono looked back behind him, and found a girl bathing in the silvery light of the stars. The upper portion of her face was covered with a white and large butterfly mask. With the dark lines decorating the mask - seemingly realistic like a real butterfly - it was hard to tell where the holes for her eyes were, due to the darkness of the night. The blond hair and figure reminded him of Hoshimiya Ichigo, but there was an aura that he was still not accustomed to.

The fear of death, it's what one felt from such an oppressive presence. Not wearing a smile, but an expressionless face, Ichigo took a step forward, "And your punishment would be..." she spoke, her voice lacking the usual energeticness, but rather a hint of coldness.

"Treating this like a mission huh?" said Sono as he looked up at Ichigo's fearsome form. In that mask she always meant buisness. Watching closely, he saw her begin to move her hands.

Ichigo raised her hand up to her chest, and slowly pulled out the golden ring on her right hand, "Starlight."

A light blue flame abruptly started to burn on Kage Sono's body.

Panicking, Sono began to pat himself down, but the fire adamantly traveled up his body. It was then he noticed something strange. He didn't feel anything.

Ichigo then clenched and closed the fingers of her hand, the fire immediately extinguished, "With this, your Alice is sealed for the next day. Don't go misusing your Alice, just to figure out the new students' Alices. You should know better that having any more comrade won't really benefit you either. Since you'd only be losing the amount of 'jobs' you get, Kage-san," Ichigo said, slowly putting back her ring into the finger on her hand.

Glaring at Ichigo, he wanted nothing better then to shut that mouth of hers for good. But even if she felt his bloodlust, she knew that he couldn't do anything about it. "I don't need lectures from you. I know how to handle myself." he spat back at her. "Why do you care about them anyways?"

Ichigo gave a rather cold smile, "Says the person suffering from the usage of his Alice," she calmly responded, "Oh? Isn't that obvious? Regardless of being a member of this class, I am a Principal student. I have a duty to accomplish here," Ichigo's smile disappeared, she then raised her right arm high into toward the sky, "If anyone gets in the way, I should punish them," she then seemed to have frowned, but it couldn't be seen due to the mask, "Otherwise, I'll eliminate them," just as Ichigo stopped speaking, the grass around the two all turned black; drained of life.

Sono smirked, "One of these days you'll die the same as me. Same as these plants you display," answered Sono. "Then we will see where all this talk of camaraderie and punishment got you." Sono would have been scared out of his mind if he didn't already know Ichigo. A day of not using his powers would be an inconvinience, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Still, it'd be a whole day where he can't make any money, and that alone began to piss him off.

"So if that is all miss Principal Student I will be taking my leave of you. If that is alright," he said, with hate dripping off every word.

"Where can you possibly find anyone doing good things for absolutely nothing in this world?" Ichigo giggled, "A dreamless person can't understand. With great power comes great responsibility, I'm not self-centered." Ichigo felt that she had quite a lot of rewards and benefits for this position. The permission to go out of the academy for her dream. There are other great things she couldn't do or get without being a Principal Student. It'd be unfair to not be the Principal Student everyone expects of her. With such resolute thoughts, Ichigo's determination has been left unfazed even by the dark mastermind of the academy.

"You keep being what everyone expects of you, and I'll keep doing what I want. I can do this dance with you forever," said Sono turning his back to her and walking off into the night.

"Mn... Sure you can, but then I'll keep punishing you if I catch you," Ichigo confidently declared, feeling no fear of his protests whatsoever.

"It seems like I got a bit closer to it," Ichigo faced the starry sky, "I'm sorry, Mom," she whispered lightly, her lips barely moved. A slim strand of salty water slipped out of Ichigo's mask, and past her right cheek, before she knew it. Upon realizing, Ichigo frantically took up her hand to catch the droplet from her chin, looking down at the tear which reflected the beautiful night sky.

"Jeez.. You sure know how to take precautions," Amelia stood behind Ichigo, looking down on all the lifeless bunch of dead grass, "Just how much effort do you put in all this?" Amelia sighed, "It doesn't hurt to take some rest!" Amelia yelled - frustrated - there was not a shred of her usual manners or her coolness and composure.

Ichigo shugged, "I figured you'd try to use this location to attack using your Plant-related Alices if Fushiki-san came across here, yes? With this, you can't surround him anymore. Consider this lack of advantage your punishment for orchastrating the commotion on the lunch break," Ichigo slightly turned her face.

"To answer your question. I always put the highest effort I can exert. How can I rest while ablaze?" Ichigo's usual bright smile emerged. Amelia smiled in response too, and slowly walked away.

"Idiot, don't burn yourself out now."

Shouta waited until midnight to begin his escape from Alice Academy. He didn't have much of a plan, so his goal was simple: reach the south exit. It was the way he came in, and therefore, the only way out he has seen so far. If anyone tries to stop him, he starts running. If that isn't an option, he'll fight. He was confident that he'd hold his own, especially with his newfound Alice.

It was too cumbersome to bring all of his belongings, so he packed as much of his clothes and important trinkets into a single bag. Any other clothing was left behind in the dorm room. Once he felt that had had everything he needed, Shouta headed out.

Shouta generally has a good sense of direction, but because the Academy is a new environment to him, it was difficult for him to determine the correct path. He didn't pay attention to any landmarks during the bus ride to the middle school, earlier, nor any from the ride from his house to the Academy's headquarters. He did, however, remember that a strange town was just north of the headquarters. If he could find that, the rest was easy: head south toward freedom.

After an hour of walking, Shouta realized, Damn it, the campus is so damn huge! Am I even headed in the right direction!? Just as he thought that, the strange town came into view. Oh, that's awesome! The headquarters should be nearby, too, then, right? He traveled along the edge of the town until he spotted the correct building. "YES!!" He pumped his fist in celebration. He was nearing his goal; it wasn't too much further before he could kiss Alice Academy goodbye and be reunited with his family.

However, the gate was sealed shut. It was too heavy for Shouta to open alone, and too tall to climb safely. Even without his bag, the bars were also too closely spaced together to attempt to squeeze through. No... nononono"nononononononoNO! DAMN IT! I'm so close! Why can't I get this fucking thing open!?!? Rrrr!" He kicked the gate several times to no avail. Several emotions ran through Shouta's mind: disappointment, perplexion, and deep, seething rage.

"AGH!" He screamed in anger, activating his Alice, as well, in hopes that it would be powerful enough to topple the gate. It didn't accomplish anything, which drove him over the edge. He punched the gate until his knuckles bled. He swung his bag at it until its contents started flying out. He headbutted it until he started to get dizzy. He pulled on the gate one final time, before falling to his knees and sobbing in frustration.

"You must be one of those, 'one of a kind' idiots - who thinks that they can escape the academy - by bleeding yourself to death. Is hurting yourself that much fun, despite knowing the futility?" Amelia stood behind the fallen Shouta who panted desperately while his knuckles bled from all the useless punches made to the tall gates. As she looked down on him, she noted his belongings scattered on the ground, "You're picking all your stuff up, and coming back to the dorm. Give it up, you aren't the only one who's separated from their parents here in this academy."

"I... I... can't..." His speech was broken due to his emotional state. "I can't... stay here, though... My family needs me... My brother needs me... How can I protect him if I'm not there...?" He still wanted to proceed, but he couldn't gather enough strength to lift himself from the ground. "I can't possibly be the Best Student or a Principal student... I can't wait that long... "

"I don't care, the others don't care, the guards don't care, the authorities don't care, and the government doesn't care either. Not that you care whether they do or not anyway. But honestly?" Amelia spoke in a stern tone, then proceeded to revealing her smug expression for the first time, "Quit acting the wimp-talk and face this like a man already. But they're much more stronger, bearing it all," Amelia sighed, "Besides, how long do you intend to 'protect' your sibling? If you kept that up forever, he'd never get stronger himself. Give him some free time already."

"Either way, this is pointless. Get up already, we're heading to the dorms. I won't report this, so stand up!"

Shouta wanted to hit Amelia for everything she just said, but he couldn't deny that what she said is true. " ...I guess I have no choice, then... " He held back his anger as he stood up, and collected his things from the ground. He found a framed photo of his family, and paused a moment to look at it. Coincidentally, it was cracked right through the center, separating himself from his brother. It was painful, but Shouta chuckled a bit at it, too. He carefully placed it back into his bag, along with the rest of the dropped items. He, then, stood beside Amelia, signalling to her that he was ready to return to the dorms. I'd better get used to this place, now. Looks like I'm stuck here for a while...

Giving a sigh of relief, Amelia started to head for the dorms, "You really know how to make a scene though, huh?"[/b] she honestly expressed. It's been quite a while since she saw someone this sad about family. Or rather, it's been too long since she saw that, despite such things being common. Perhaps the academy hasn't had transfer students recently, "It's kinda easy to get lost here at night, it's true especially for new students, so don't distance yourself too far from me," Amelia casually said, devoid of the knowledge that men can interpret this in various ways...

But then... "Wait, stop," Amelia whispered, barring Shouta's walking space with her arm, That idiot is still there?! she silently roared from surprise mixed with rage. The person before them was indeed Ichigo. Still surrounded by a patch of darkened-dead-grasses, looking towards the stars while standing. Thankfully, her mask wouldn't give her identity away, but it could leave a potentially scadalous hint. The two were behind some woods when they came across this. Being pretty close to the dorms, Amelia regardless, felt that Ichigo somehow became one big wall on her path, without even trying.

However, Ichigo looked straight towards Amelia - before she even knew it - then towards Shouta. The mask made her seem intimidating and somewhat scary. Yet gloomy and lonely. There was an aura that almost froze Amelia. She felt like saying something, but couldn't think anything. Just as she tried to force herself. Ichigo vanished- no, she fled via a speedy jump. It reminded her that a certain someone trained her to work for the academy. That fact itself annoyed Amelia. All this special treatment for Hoshimiya Ichigo, somehow made her quite jealous, even though it's not exactly a good position to be in.

"What the hell...?" As the masked figure jumped away, Shouta rubbed his eyes in disbelief. It was a rather frightening experience. All he could determine was that the person was likely a girl, and perhaps young, judging by her height. He inched toward where the masked girl was standing, and kneeled down to examine the area. He noticed that the grass in the area was dead. "Is this an Alice? It certainly seems dangerous..." The rest of the grass was healthy; it was just this particular spot that was drained of life. He didn't want to think about whether that could affect humans.

Amelia slowly followed up, reminiscing her earlier terse conversation with a certain someone, "You should just try to forget about that," Amelia said from behind Shouta, ignoring the dead patch of grass, then went past him - in the direction of the dormitory - as she muttered, "You'll get left behind if you don't hurry up... "

She knows something, for sure... Now's not the time, though... Shouta lifted himself from the ground and caught up to Amelia. Once the dormitory was within sight, he let out a yawn. Today has been a long day... I need to rest... Shouta slightly bowed his head toward Amelia as thanks, and proceeded back into his room. Upon arrival, he immediately dropped his belongings near the other bags from earlier, then jumped into bed and fell asleep. He wanted nothing more than to put the day's events behind him.

Now this should be here, and in order to make it move smoothly, I should add something right there, Ing thought as he continued to type on his work bench, with two black gloves connected to his computer. He was doing the request that his friend asked him. It's kinda weird for her to request something like this. I mean, if you always play the piano, your hand would be used to it. Oh well, Ing said as he took the gloves. Her hand is kinda small and cute though. . .Oh well, He put the gloves back down and tested the other request that she asked.

Several minutes later, Ing leaned back on his bench. It's pretty much finished. What's left to do is to let her wear it. Ing looked at a table clock at the corner of his work desk. It's already this late, huh? I guess I should just go to sleep.

A black car drove on a roadway, with trees on both sides of the road. An the dead of night, the car trip felt like an adventure to it's passengers somehow.

Men in black hid themselves behinds bushes and trees, patiently awaiting for the car to make an elaborate ambush. The exact time was unknown, but one would think that most - if not all - students in Alice Academy are fast asleep. The car was of course, in the outside world. They'd then take the 'important people' being escorted via the car as hostages for their apparent evil plans.

Just as the car was about to pass by, they jumped in the way, pointing their guns towards the windshield. Just as the driver saw the black coats, pants and the sun glasses, along with the black gun possibly pointed to his face, he lost his will to drive forward.

A figure flew off from the woods. The brilliantly shining blond hair flaunting in the air, confused the men for a short moment as the young girl landed between the jet black vehicle and the invaders.

Realizing that it's a child, the ambushers stepped back. They knew that whenever a child pops up when executing a critical part of the plan - they're most likely Alices.

"I-It's her!"

"That mask and that blond hair... it's the Life-Sucking Vampire!"

"Fire!"

Just as a round of bullets were shot, the Vampire calmly side-stepped; ignoring the line of fire. Not being perfect, the masked girl however, had a bullet grazing past the very left side of her stomach. But she'd dare not to falter from taking such a hit. She was trained to take more than just a bullet when in the battlefield.

Just as another round of bullets were about to follow, the girl known as an idol - ducked, and swiftly proceeded to jumping high up in the air. Knowing that her enemies would try to shoot her down from the sky regardless, she drew her right hand forward, "It's too bad that I have to do this to them," she whispered to herself in disdain, bracing herself.

The Enchantress' foot landed right in the middle of a man's face. There were about five of them, including the one who got stomped on his face. All of them then heard a strange and depressing tone of voice - as their enemy landed on the road - a murmuring singing was heard. Not having the time to grasp the distracting feeling, they tried to focus on the monster known as a vampire in front of them, but felt their strength and senses wavering, falling to their knees.

The Vampire raised her arm towards the starry sky, "I'll put your lives to a greater use."

A nice smell was adrift the air, it could possibly people more calm and composed. Being in a Japanese-style room- no, a Japanese castle would be more apt for a description regarding the current scene.

Ichigo sat on a cushion over the tatami-mat, with her legs bent, just like any traditional Japanese would. Albeit her legs were having a tough time getting used to it, as it's been some time she since last visited the place.

"Hii-sama, how have you been?" Ichigo asked, displaying her usual cheerful expression decorated with an idol's energetic smile, but she had a more ladylike posture and mannerism, apparently taught to her by a certain upperclassman.

A respectable lady sat before her, who hid her face behind a fan. Her long and black wavy hair was beautiful. Ichigo felt that the hair of herself and 'Hii-sama' were probably incomparable. She wore the tradition Japanese attire known as kimono, and held an air of Japanese nobility and elegance that Ichigo could only dream of achieving one day. This respectable, yet capricious beauty was known as Himemiya - the Middle School Principal. One of the three who controlled the academy for a very long time.

"Himawari no Kimi, perhaps you should refrain from using that troublesome Alice, and leave the work to others instead?" Himemiya suggested, looking at the fallen Ichigo who struggled to get back up and sit like a 'proper lady' again, as per Himemiya's rules in the Hanahime Den.

"S-Sorry, I'll get back up in a bit," Ichigo said, with a forced smile while sweat dripped from her head. Giving up, she allowed her body to fall to the cold tatami-mat.

A bespectacled girl - who was much older and taller than Ichigo - walked into the large room, she too, had long and beautiful black hair, the only distinction was it's straightness and silkiness. Matching the color, she wore a black kimono like Himemiya, and gracefully walked up to Ichigo, and looked down on her pitiful form. Known as the representative of the Technical Alice class, and one of the executive students with the Special Star rank, her name was Yamanochi Shizune.

"Himawari no Kimi, you're before Hii-sama. Please fix your disgraceful appearance immediately," unlike Himemiya, Shizune wouldn't take an excuse to excuse her, and sternly asked Ichigo to present the etiquette that is expected of a girl in this place.

"Carry her to me, Shizune."

Much to her surprise, Himemiya had Ichigo's head placed over her lap, and touched Ichigo's face with her daunting fingers from her cheek to her forehead slowly, "Eh... ?"

"Himawari no Kimi, your face is shaped well... " Himemiya praised, making Ichigo's cheeks fluster, resulting in her skin to turn rosy red from embarrassment, because she realized that Himemiya started to think something that two females should never do!

Icigo abruptly got up, and jumped back, "I-I'm not fit to rest on Hii-sama's lap!! I apologize for being so disrespectful tonight. Please forgive me, I must excuse myself!!" before Himemiya or Shizune could stop Ichigo, she fled from the scene.

"I have to teach her a lesson when she comes back... "

"I believe has an injury, see to it that she gets proper treatment, Kakitsubata. She has an injury. Not wanting me to discover it, she took the decision to run," Himemiya sighed, feeling anxiety for Ichigo.

"So it was because of whatever she did before she came here... "

((OOC: We're skipping the next day (April 11th) of the RP, and moving onto the day after that (April 12th). Basically, it's a time skip. We're skipping a day. Dices will be rolled for every PC, to determine what kind of days they spend on the 11th. In the following, the 'result' is the result from rolling dice for the respective character, and the 'effect' is what happens to the respective character in the day which is skipped.))

Akizuki Ine:

Result: 2.
Effect: Akizuki Ine's day was the same as usual. She got late for class, got reprimanded by Miya, and was then given a punishment... it was to clean the Garbage Eaters. She didn't get of her 'friends' to help this time, and decided to do this on her own, as she had no intention of bothering them again like yesterday. Her food-eating activities were greatly delayed. Her stomach sent out many alarms for food by making growling sounds while she ran after the Garbage Eaters almost endlessly. In the end, Ine made a trip to the Central Town and spent around 20 RT on food. Food is very important after all, she thought. It felt especially good to eat after doing some hard work.

Kage Sono:

Result: 1.
Effect: Kage Sono was in a sour mood all day. His Alice getting sealed was no mere hoax after all. He felt like an ordinary human being. It was humiliating. He didn't think he'd come to hate Hoshimiya Ichigo this much. But then he remembered his initial thinking towards Ichigo when she appeared in the class yesterday. He then realized that getting on Ichigo's bad side was a bad idea after all, not that it was his idea to begin with. It was truly regrettable to have accepted Amelia's work, who was absent today. Being unable to even get his payment on this day made him feel truly angry the whole day. Sono had to ignore the other students, especially those who were potential haters from his perspective, because he had no intention of getting possibly beaten up. His body was weak, so he's powerless without his Alice. Punishments can be a scary thing sometimes.

Fushiki Shouta:

Result: 6.
Effect: Shouta had an educational day at school. Putting aside his emotional affairs aside, he decided to focus more towards the academy itself. For some reason, Amelia was not present. So no one was around to exactly guide him properly like yesterday. Shouta spent the day wandering around the academy; exploring. It helped him to get an idea of just how large the academy is. When he returned to the dorms at even, he received a letter from Clara. It was a letter from his family. Clara then explained that the students can communicate with their family by sending letters. In it, Shouta received his younger brother's encouragement.

Hiiragi Sakura:

Result: 2.
Effect: Hiiragi Sakura had a bad day. She woke up in time, reached classroom in time, only to be asked about her Alice. Feeling troubled, she tried to ignore the boys who asked about it, but in return she got bullied. A certain someone read her mind, and it was found out that even Sakura doesn't know about her Alice. In the end, she spent the day alone, wandering around the Middle school. After classes, she immediately retreated to the dorms, and spent the rest of the day in her room.

Kouzuki Ing:

Result: 5.
Effect: For Kouzuki Ing, this was a good day. Aside from his usual morning days, today he received the money for the request Maya made, after Maya approved of his requested invention. With this much money, he felt that he saved up enough money to go for a big project this time, and started to buy the required items from the Central Town.

Amahane Mio:

Result: 1.
Effect: Hospitalized from getting due to exhaustion for some days now, saving the world sure is a tough task. Turned out Mio had a fractured bone somewhere in her body. With Alice Academy's hospital having advanced equipments, it'd take a few days for recovery, or so Mio was told. Mio, however, simply thought to herself that heroes should have no problem putting up with a little injury, while in actuality, she simply enjoyed being able to skip class... but was given notes and reports with detailed summaries regarding the classes that took place, and had to do her homework on the hospital bed.

Shouta's morning was somewhat hectic. It was one mistake after another as he woke up late, got ready in a hurry and dashed to school, only to return to pick up something he forgot to pack, three times. The first time, he forgot his notebook. The second time, writing instruments. And the third, his watch. After wasting so much time, he sprinted with all his might in hopes of making it to his classroom on time.

As he ran, he looked back on the events of the previous day.

Yesterday was a very productive day for Shouta. With not much else to do, he had spent his time exploring Alice Academy. Amelia wasn't present, so he needed to do this without her help, which he preferred, since it'll be easier to retain the locations more easily if he discovers them himself. He learned many things, the first of which being that it was an enormous school. There wasn't enough time in the day to be everywhere on campus simply due to it's size. He did construct a mental map of the places he's been that day, though. He had visited the Central Town, passed by the Elementary School and its dormitory, he already knew the location of the headquarters, and he learned that the high school dorm was just north of the middle school's dorm. He couldn't quite find the high school yet, and didn't wander into the forests surrounding the school, as curious as he is about them.

When night came, he returned to his dorm, where Clara gave him a letter before he walked into his room. It was from his family. He immediately opened it and read it carefully. It was in his mother's handwriting. It was a simple letter, just describing how the family was doing, and asking how Shouta was doing in the Academy. Most importantly to Shouta, in the postscript was a message from his younger brother: "Do your best, Big Bro!" He could hear his brother's voice through the writing; it filled him with joy and motivation.

Clara informed Shouta that he could communicate with his family by sending letters. The moment he heard this, he dashed into his room to write a response, and came back out with a letter of his own to give to Clara. He wasn't sure if she was the right person to give it to, but he was too excited to care at that moment. He experienced the deepest sleep he's ever had that night, filled with pleasant dreams.

Once he began approaching the school, Shouta realized there was plenty of time to spare. He remembered that the classes at Alice Academy started slightly later than those at the previous school he attended. He took a moment to catch his breath before proceeding inside.

"Those idiots how could they say those things! Sakura thought to herself as she walked to her class still angry about yesterday's incident with her classmates. "I had never heard of Alices till the day before, how was I supposed to know what kind of Alice I have."

"I'm going to be late again" Cried Ine, running to class with a look of sheer desperation on her face. This was the fastest Ine had probably ever ran, because she was determined to not be late a third day in a row. She couldn't afford to miss lunch again.

As she ran she wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings, if she had she might have noticed that many students were walking to class around this time. Unfortunately because she wasn't paying attention she hurtled into a new classmate, rather hard.

"Ouch" Yelled Ine in pain and surprise, having fallen to the floor she was now rubbing her sore head "Are you ok? I'm really sorry about that"

Sakura had no clue what had just happened she had found herself suddenly on her knees with her back hurting. Looking back she could see a girl on the ground the apparent cause for the current incident."Pay attention to where your going this early in the morning!" Sakura replied angrily as she got back up. "You could have seriously hurt someone or yourself like that." Sakura said as she extended her hand to help the girl, who just had run into her, up.

Smiling, Ine took the hand that was being offered to her and clambered up to her feet. "Thanks" She said "Oh hey, you're that new transfer student, my name's Akizuki Ine, but you can just call me Ine, it's a pleasure to meet you" She said with a small bow.

"Umm okay Ine-san, my name is Hiiragi Sakura, I'm not a transfer student though. By the way why are you in such a hurry this early in the morning?" Sakura said as she strech a bit to relieve some of the pain.

"Early?" Ine asked as she could have sworn she was late. She then noticed something she didn't often see. There were people walking to class at the same time as her. It was then, that it dawned on her that perhaps she had made a mistake reading her clock or that there was something wrong with it. Realising this Ine burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" Sakura asked confused as into why Ine was laughing. "Well anyways we should get going we don't want to be late to class now do we Ine-san"

"Ah you're right" Said Ine following after Sakura into the classroom

Just as Hiiragi Sakura walked in, some of boys made smug expressions. Giving an unwelcoming vibe to her, "It's the trial enrollment girl again!" someone announced with mockery and jeer.

Ine looked unhappy at the way her classmates were treating Sakura but said nothing. She went to sit down at her seat.

"Found out your Alice yet? Or are you a puny ordinary human?" a girl asked, looking down on Sakura as she folded her arms across her chest; making a prideful pose.

"How should I... know, you stupid... idiot... stop being so arrogant just because you have an Alice... is what she's thinking right now!" a certain mind-reader said with a smile. The bullies burst out in laughter.

Sakura decided to quickly head to her seat and try to block out all that she heard the best she could. Part of her wanted to retaliate but she knew that would be the worst option.

"She insults us and then ignores us? Talk about an attitude!"

"Why not teach her a lesson then?"

"How about it, Shiraishi?"

"It really isn't worth it, but she did called me an idiot, it kinda pisses me off."

Just as the girl known as Shiraishi said that, she begun to concentrate, then waved her hand towards Sakura, and moved her arm towards the air above the seats. As a result, Sakura subsequently was flung into the air and was floating. Some pointed towards Sakura and laughed, some ignored, some saw her panties, and then returned back to whatever they were doing.

At this point Ine had stopped walking towards her chair, instead, she was trembling in anger, with her back towards what was happening.

Sakura was shocked at what was suddenly going on she was suddenly floating in mid-air. She had no clue what just happened. But she could hear the laughter coming from some her classmates. "You guys are all just the same. Just cause you know you have something special, you feel all superior. You're all just a bunch of jerks!!" Sakura screamed as she couldn't hold her anger back anymore.

"I know, right? We're so special, don't know what you're going on about the jerk part though!" Shiraishi spoke to the flying Sakura.

"And you're here in a place where only us, superior people reside. So get out, No-Alice person!"

Finally Ine burst, shouting "What gives you the right to say things like that!" Ine swiveled around facing Shiraishi, her cheeks puffed up in anger "Classmates should all get along"

"If it isn't Akizuki-san, I thought you're a friend or something, you should be supporting us!"

"Why do I have to support anyone?" Ine said "there shouldn't be sides to take when we're all classmates!"

"But she's not an Alice! She can't be without one, you know. That means she doesn't deserve to be our classmate."

"I hate that attitude" Said Ine "Not everyone has control over her Alice, Sakura-chan just got here, she probably doesn't even know what it is!"

"Oh really? Well we don't really care about people who are unrelated in that way, they should just get out," Shiraishi said, "All she needs to do is perhaps prove to us that her Alice really exists?"

"Can't we just assume she has an Alice? After all she is in this school, the teachers surely know what they're doing!" Said Ine.

"If being special means having the same attitude as you, I think I'd rather not be special! At least I'll know that I'm better than you guys. Plus, I shouldn't even be here If I didn't have an Alice, idiots!!"

"This little... "

A girl with very beautiful facial features, strawberry blond hair, and slightly thick lips walked towards the bullies, and spoke out, "Then, if you claim to be better than us, why not prove it to us?" she said with a seemingly innocent expression, "If you can go to the Eastern Woods, and cross through it and can find the High School's premises, we'll accept you into the class, right guys?"

"W-Well... a bratty girl like her can't do that anyway! So sure!" the others said something similar in a negative manner as well.

"Fine then! I'll do it." Sakura said without much thought.

"I'll help Sakura-chan" Said Ine energetically, moving to Sakura's side, who was still floating in the air.

"T-Thank you Ine-san," Sakura said feeling relieved that she at least had support from one of her classmates.

"You said it! Be sure not to regret it you two!"

"Well, since it's a difficult task, and you're new. Why not let her take her friends with her?" the pretty girl suggested.

"Yeah, then she'd have one less excuse to make after she fails badly!" Shiraishi spoke derisively.

"Could you guys please stop it?" Ing walked under the floating Sakura. "Now put her down." He said calmly as he looked at the bullies with an intimidating stare.

"Sure," Shiraishi, the Telekinesis girl of the class said with a smug face, and Sakura instantly fell. She made sure to not place her back on the floor properly, so Sakura abruptly fell, which would make her buttocks feel hurt hard from the fall but...

Ing quickly stepped back and softened her landing by throwing one of his inventions from inside his top pocket, a relatively normal sheep shaped handkerchief made from a special soft fabric that he used for making the gloves for his friend's request. Just before Sakura was about to land on the handkerchief, it became larger, enough to support her landing, it absorbed the pain greatly and it felt like she was landing on a pillow, Perfect, I knew that it'd come in handy, Ing thought. He quickly asked her, "Are you alright?"

Sakura was quite surprised at what just happen she expected to hit the floor quite hard after being let go she didn't expect a soft landing at all. In front of her was the boy who had just helped her it was it was the other class rep from the class Ing. "You didn't have to get involved, this is between me and them but thank you for helping me"

"Since you guys are so supportive of her, why not go to the Eastern Woods with her? Or are you all spineless?" Shiraishi asked with a grin, her words full of mockery.

"I don't mind, she doesn't know where the woods are, so it's best for me to go with her, it's not like Amelia-san is here," Ing said with a calm tone.

"Thank you, that would be very helpful" Sakura said since thinking about it now she had no clue where the eastern woods are whats even out there.

A bit late, Sono walked down the hallways holding his bag over his right shoulder. His calm pace hardly showed that he was late, but he never made any effort when he knew that when he got there he would simply sit in class and read. His expressionless face saved him from hearing the many 'good mornings' that he was sure Ichigo would return cheerfully. He made it to class before the teacher arrived, which saved him a lecture, but it'd seem there was some kind of a commotion going on, only moments before he arrived.

Seeing that it wasn't in the way of him getting to his seat, he began walking over to it, placing his bag on the floor near his chair. Taking a quick scan of the room he saw that a few people were riled up about something. Shiraishi, a known bully of the class, was quite pleased with herself so he figured her to be responsible. Returning his gaze to the front of the room he began to wait for this day to be over with.

"Okay then, Akizuki-san and Kouzuki-san will be going with Hiiragi-san in this case," the pretty girl looked towards the bullies, "No qualms, yes?" the others weakly nodded and looked away with angry faces, they wanted to say 'who died and made her the queen' but they had already agreed with her to make them go to the Eastern Woods, and it's almost an impossible task that Sakura was given, so they can't exactly disagree with her, despite letting Sakura have others accompany her.

Shouta, too, was a little late. He was still breathing heavily after his unneccessary rush from the dorms to the school. He walked at a slow pace as he approached the classroom, entered through the rear entrance and immediately fell into his seat. The teacher hadn't arrived yet. Shouta was relieved, he didn't want to face an actual punishment. Miya-sensei had made some strange threats before to other students.

Some students were talking among themselves. Evidentally, something had happened just before Shouta came in. He listened in on their conversation to find out what it was.

"Hah, I swear that new-face can't get past the Eastern Forest," a boy said, having a malicious grin on his face, "That No-Alice girl can't possible deal with all the strange things in there."

"Ehh? Didn't Kouzuki went with her, though?" a girl said, unsure. It was Shiraishi.

"It's okay, he might be a Triple Star ranked student, but even he can't handle all the crazy stuff in there by himself, right?"

"Yeah! To hell with Triple Stars! I hope he's in the hospital when they come back!"

That lazy guy is a Triple Star? How'd he manage that? And who's this 'No-Alice Girl'? Is it one of those two? He's never seen either Aoi's nor Sakura's Alice, so he couldn't know who it could be.

"Hah, Hiiragi- I mean, that 'Girl with no Alice' is probably going to be worse off than that guy."

"It's what she deserves for coming to this academy without an Alice. Haha!"

"Someone should go observe and report back here!"

"No way! Who wants to go to that craphole of a forest! Eastern Forest has all sorts of scary rumors. Like ghosts being there, or statues that attacks you... a-and scary trees that comes alive if you walk in front of them. Too crazy a place for people to go into."

"WHAT!? You sent Hiiragi-san to a place like that!? What are you thinking, what happens if she gets hurt out there!?" Shouta jumped out of his seat and angrily marched towards the group of bullies.

"Who cares? We sure as hell don't, or are you her new knight in shining armor? It's what she deserves for coming to this school!" Shiraishi replied in a rude manner, just like Shouta, not willing to back down from the noisy-contest.

Shouta had no qualms with running up to this girl and grabbing her by the throat, but he needed to hold himself back. He'll never be able to get to Sakura in time if he started a fight in the classroom. He probably couldn't win, either. They'd have Alices, unlike the people he fought when he was younger. Fighting instinct and physical strength mean less in this situation. As frustrating as it was to turn his back to Shiraishi and her gang, he had no choice. "I'm going to get her back. And you're all gonna regret this!" He ran out of the classroom and towards the Eastern forest. I hope I'm not too late...

Hiiragi Sakura, Akizuki Ine and Kouzuki Ing stood before the vast of amount of trees which stood before them; the Eastern Forest. There were rumors that strange things lived in it, but no one knows if any of them are true. There is however, a giant chick which shows up once in a while as it makes way for food.

The forest was behind the school, specifically to the north-east to the school. After a few minutes of walking, it could be reached, but students barely ever entered it, as there are strange things made by Alice users which were usually failures - abandoned into the forest. The same could be said for the other three forests that exists in the grounds of the academy.

Aoi tapped Sakura's head with a small book from behind, "Not sure how I can help, but I tagged along without permission, that's okay, right?" Aoi said with a wink. Aoi had actually been present throughout the bullying scene all along, but stayed in the safe. She knew who she supported, and hearing about the 'task' immediately allowed her to make her mind regarding how she'd support Sakura; accompany her and help her out.

"Thank you, but are you sure? We don't really know whats out there. I guess Kouzuki-san and Ine-san might know," Sakura said while being happy but asked because she didn't wanted to involve anyone else in a situation she got herself into.

Still being new to the academy, Aoi had no clue what lied in the forest. In fact, she assumed that the only obstacles are trees and perhaps bugs and normal animals. She casually followed the trio earlier without a word, but with a smile instead; knowing they'd need all the help they could get. Little did she or Sakura knew what was in store for the group of four - all of whom who decided to tread into the forest.

"I know the pros and cons, so it's okay. I'll try to catch up on the class materials later. Missing classes is my only concern, but it isn't as important as your situation, you're a fellow new student along with me, after all," Aoi said coolly, then looked at the other two, "Shall we go, then?"

Coming out of her reverie of thoughts, Ine said, "Yay, Aoi-san is also joining us!" she said, not really happy because Aoi volunteered to accompany them to this forest.

"Alright, I'll go first. Just stay right behind me." Ing said as he took out a watermelon textured gun from inside his left pocket and walked in to the forest.

"Umm, Kouzuki-san, what exactly is that?" Sakura asked as she followed behind Ing.

"Hm? This? It's a gun that shoots watermelon seeds. It's pretty much like a BB gun, but stronger. You won't get killed if get hit by it, but it'll hurt quite a lot," Ing explained the general information about his gun to Sakura.

"I see, I wouldn't think such a contraption would work though. What's in this forest by the way, Kouzuki-san?"

"I heard Clara saying that there are ghosts in here, so she told me not to wander into it. B-But that can't possible be true, right?!" Aoi stated, her forced smile falling apart from fear.

"Don't be silly Kiriya-san ghost aren't real!" Sakura replied, laughing, not even considering the possibility.

"Ghosts? Never heard about ghosts, what I heard is there were trees moving by themselves, statues randomly flying around, weird scratching sounds from the trees, but what's more weird is a large yellow chick lives here somewhere in there," Ing said with a monotone voice.

"That... sounds worse than having ghosts, in many ways," Aoi expressed her honest thoughts as she cupped the air around her chest with both her hands; enveloped by more and more fear, but this was a chance for Aoi - to test the capabilities of her Alice further. She wanted to know if her Acting Alice could effect animals, it's one of the many advantages of tagging along with the others here.

"Umm, Kouzuki-san, you're joking right? That can't be true right," Sakura said, while laughing a bit in disbelief.

"Nope, it's true." Ing said with a creepy expressionless and a monotone voice.

"Wait, so they're not just rumors after all?!"

"I still find that hard to believe though, what is this large yellow chick you mentioned?"

"Yes, those are not rumors, and that yellow chick is also real." Ing stopped for a moment and signaled the others to stop.

A quiet rustling of leaves emanated from a distance.

"Something is moving from up there." Ing pointed at a bush up front. "I'll go first to check it out." Ing said as he moved to the bushes that he pointed, but when he approached the bushes, he found a rabbit, that peered toward his face, then hopped away.

"I-Is anything there?!" Aoi asked, her usual composure was unmistakably gone, she stayed behind Sakura, but didn't dare to hide behind her.

"Nothing, just a rabbit." Ing wiped his face with a handkerchief from inside his pocket and returned back to the group. "Let's move on," Ing continued to lead the group deeper in to the forest.

As the group went deeper into the forest, Aoi was curious rather than scared, "By the way, Kouzuki-san, why do you know so much about this place? Have you been here before?" Aoi asked, looking towards Ing, "I mean, I barely saw you talking yesterday, so I thought that you're the silent type."

"I did my research and used one of my inventions to scope the whole school grounds in the past." Ing said as he walked through a bush.

"Ooh, that's cool," Aoi spoke without thinking, impressed, "But wait, inventions? Are you good at inventing?"

"Yeah, I have an Invention Alice. I have two colored hair is because of it. Well, it was never proven but still. . ." Ing sighed and continued to walk.

"Eh...? Invention Alice does sound cool but, hair or two colors? That's strange," Aoi thought to herself.

"By the way Kouzuki-san how exactly do your inventions work?"

"It's like this sudden urge to create something or like wanting to fix something. Then on the process, strange things happens to the item that I create or fix. Sometimes these strange things make my invention look good and with an amazing function, and sometimes it will look bad or may have a very limitted function," Ing explained the general information about his Invention Alice.

"That seems really cool. I wonder if I have an alice that can make things also," Sakura said as she started imagining the many possibilities.

"That sounds like a magneficent Alice," Aoi complimented, "Sounds like a lot of fun."

"Sometimes it is and sometimes it's not." Ing smiled a little as he walked deeper.

Ine walked silently behind the rest of the group, somewhat regretting her decision to help out. However, she wasn't prepared to let a classmate do this without anyone else. Ages ago, before everyone knew about Ine's Alice, they had thought it didn't exist. Ine had done this before, completely alone.

"Ine-san are you okay? You haven't said much since we came into the forest are you scared?"

"Eh?" said Ine, bemused "I'm fine, all that talk about ghosts just got me a little spooked" she lied.

Aoi looked up, then looked towards the sky. More specifically, to the right, "Is that... a yellow mountain?" Aoi asked, confused, feeling that it must be a place unique to the academy. The so-called 'yellow mountain' looked like a somewhat round-ish... thing, it seemed like something with a soft surface; a mysterious thing.

"Yellow mountain?" Upon hearing this Sakura looked around and could see roundish shape thing from a distance, "Has that always been there?"

Ing looked at what Aoi pointed, "That's. . .the. . ." Ing spaced out in disbelief, looking at the big and long thing that laid before his eyes.

"It couldn't have been... right? I don't think I saw it a minute ago..."

Ine gulped. She knew exactly what it was "It's the chick" she said in amazement.

"I must look at it closer," Ing said as he took out a small telescope from his right pocket. He pulled it and looked at the large yellow being. "Yep, that's a chick alright," He said as he offered Aoi the telescope to see it for her self.
