I know only only one of you guys has replied, but I am still sorry for taking so long to get back. I had to do a ton of school work for a group communications class all of a sudden. And yes, she will take the documents with her.
You ignore the noise and quickly make your way out of the research lab. You then hurry back to the intersection and decide to go to the cafeteria area since it's the only place you have yet to visit. You also figured: since the other docking bay and your ticket out of the facility is in that direction, might as well go there. As you climb up the hall to the cafeteria, you feel a strong tremor followed by a very loud snapping sound from the bulkhead where you had initially woken up. Suddenly, the entire facility shifts and it begins to level out. It is once again horizontal leaving you to assume that the part of the facility that was hanging over the trench must have finally snapped off at a stress point. You feel a tickle of water hit your head as you get up. It seems the impact of the facility leveling out might have weakened it. You now notice many areas leaking small amounts of water. You decide to:
A. Continue to make your way to the cafeteria
B. Stay where you are and read the documents
C. Make your way to the cafeteria while reading the documents
D. Backtrack to previously visited ares to see if the shift changed anything
E. Other

You quickly scan the area making sure it's safe. Then, you kneel down and put the surgical saw on the floor as you go through your pouch to find the documents. Upon finding them, you pick up the saw once more and begin to walk towards the cafeteria. It's a little hard to read with one hand, but you refuse to drop the surgical saw since you can't fit it in your pouch. You then begin to read the documents. Starting with the first one, it says:
As you finish up the document, you freeze as all the lights in the facility shut down. The hall is now pitch black and you can't see your hand two inches in front of you. Suddenly, faint red lights glow dimly down the hallway from the ceiling and either side of the floor in both directions slightly illuminating it. "Great, now we're down to backup power..." you say to yourself. "If I can fix the generator before the lights fully go out in a day, I should be fine." You decide to:
A. Continue to make your way to the cafeteria
B. Head back to the research labs and access the maintenance area
C. Position yourself next to one of the lights and read the last document
D. Stand still and hope the power comes back on its own

AVERAGE FEMALE LENGTH: 7.5 ft.
AVERAGE FEMALE HEIGHT: 5 ft.
AVERAGE FEMALE WEIGHT: 400 lbs.
This species has a very similar appearance to the Giant Isopod which looks like a pill bug. They are usually solitary unless they are seeking a mate where they will be found in pairs. It is white in color but has a slight yellow tinge that travels from its small head and down the middle of its back to the end of its body. Further studies has shown that this area glows allowing for prey to be attracted. This is a very different form of hunting considering how isopods tend to be scavengers. The creature is shown to be extremely strong and it's exoskeleton extremely tough. Nonetheless, it is nothing a well timed sharp object pierced into its joints or a bullet can't penetrate. Egglayers are docile in nature and will not attack without a large amount of provocation. However, when they lay eggs, they become extremely territorial. Their young cannot survive when hatched prematurely and they will defend large batches of eggs with their life. Once the young hatch, the mother will seek out food to feed her young while the father guards them.

Egglayer larvae appear much like their parents except appearing very small in nature. Closer study shows they resemble giant worms before they reach full maturity and hatch. A single egg can hold up to a dozen larvae or just a couple. These creatures are incapable of fighting until they grow. What is surprising is that they seem to reach maturity very rapidly. It takes about one day for them to reach maturity which is a scientific phenomenon that has baffled us. The lifespan of the Egglayer seems to be no longer than a week however.

You immediately decide to head back to the lab. Feeling very uneasy, you make your way very cautiously as you head back. The backup lights flicker on and off as if they too are about to give out and it gives you a feeling of dread. Upon once again reaching the intersection, you notice that some of the bodies are now missing. At this point, you become even more uneasy as you make your way to the lab. You twist the bulkhead open and the lab is practically pitch black with with how awfully the backup lights are lighting the room. You still remember that the generators are on the right side so you hug the right wall and follow it. After a few minutes of cautiously inching yourself along the wall, you reach the corner and begin to hug the next wall. A sense of shock hits you as you feel a bump on the wall. "Relax, it's just the supply closets," you say to yourself upon realizing. As you continue along, the sense of shock returns as you here a noise coming from one of the supply closets. It's the one that you left earlier. You decide to:
A. Call out quietly to see if something is inside the closet
B. Ignore it and continue towards maintenance
C. Attempt to open it
D. Bang against it lightly to see if there's a reaction

You feel around for the valve and twist it open revealing the hallway to the generators. You notice the bulkhead at the other end being ajar and a strange light it emanating from it. Unlike the lights you've seen so far, this one seems more natural. Your knees shake and you feel a little cold as a slight fear sinks in. You decide to:

You take a deep breath and gulp. You then slowly walk towards the light. Every step you take sends a shiver down your spine as you get closer and closer. You feel as if your knees are ready to give out and you have an undeniable cold sweat. You raise the saw hoping it will make a difference even though you know it won't. As you reach the bulkhead, you put your hand on the side of it. Every fiber in your body tells you to just leave, but something in you urges you to go on. You pry the door open ready to see what's inside. You see the generators against the wall as well as a giant creature feeding on the main power line. It is a deep red in color and it's body glows with a strange bioluminescence at random parts at random times. It is slender and looks similar to a giant centipede. You step back and prepare to leave until the thought of running around in the dark with one of these creatures hits you. You then realize that there is no other option but this. It has not noticed you and you decide to:
A. Rush in and kill the creature
B. Call out to it, maybe it's friendly
C. Sneak up on the creature and try to kill it
D. Sneak in and try to fix the problem hoping it won't see you

"No guts, no glory..." you say to yourself. You creep your way towards the creature as quietly as you can. As you approach it, you pull out a scalpel and look for a gap in its exoskeleton near its head. You notice a small area which seems to open up similar to a beetle's carapace that protects its wings. With all the courage that you can muster, you grab the area and lift up the flap revealing a soft patch underneath. You plunge a scalpel in with all your might shoving it down until it gets completely buried. The creature hisses before its tail slaps you away with force into one of the generators, knocking the surgical saw out of your grip. You look at the creature now hissing at you as dozens of its segments open up. What you see horrifies you as you look at hundreds of worm living underneath the creatures segments. As it hisses they all disperse from its body and rush towards you. The creature itself also rushes towards your alongside all of the worms. You look to your left and see a mounted fire extinguisher. You then look to your right and see the exit. You decide to:
A. Grab the fire extinguisher and use it as a weapon
B. Get up and charge bravely at the creatures
C. Attempt to dive out of the way and attack from a better position
D. Make a run for the exit

"Big or small..." you say to yourself as you rip the extinguisher from its case. "A bug's a bug!" You pull the pin off the extinguisher and spray the contents on to the rushing horde. The worms screech and writhe uncontrollably before ceasing to move. You jump out of the way as the large creature rams into the generator. The lights permanently go out with the creature's body being the only source of light. It charges for you once more and you unleash the rest of what's left in the extinguisher into the beast. It hisses before reeling back and significantly slowing down. It then squirms and spasms, struggling on the floor suffocating before becoming motionless. You compose yourself and make your way towards the generator. "You're nothing like the document says..." you say as you inspect the wiring. The machine is beyond repair and you sigh knowing you'll have to continue on in the pitch black darkness. You look at the creature emanating the only light that's keeping the room from being completely dark. You decide to:
A. Continue to try and fix the generator
B. Make your way back to the cafeteria through the dark
C. Wait here and hope help arrives
D. Use part of the creature's body as a light source
