Today is a happy day! TT^TT I'm crying from the happiness that my group project (where only two other people other than myself out of seven participated) is finally completed. We finished, we presented, and apparently we get extra points which were taken away from our lazy teammates since we are graded individually. Good to know that my hard work is met with success and their laziness was met with failure. Anyway, I'm sorry I've been so inconsistent with replying. My gf's having a tough time and I had to deal with a disorganized group. I hope you enjoy:

You stay quiet and move as far back to the end of the infirmary to conceal the light from your makeshift chitin armor. The flesh raking sound is horrifying and it continues on accompanied by the humming of what you believe to be a woman. You can only assume that this is the person the note says you should stay away from. "This should be enough for the next few days!" you here an upbeat voice speak. Now you definitely know it's a human. You then here a beeping sound and you immediately know what it is. After having run maintenance on the facility, you recognize that it's the sound one of the research lab monitors make. "Oh," you here the woman's voice speak. "Is it time for the weekly report already? Best make sure to tell the surface everything's okay." Upon hearing this, you here footsteps followed by the clanging sound of a bulkhead being shut and locked. You suddenly feel a weight of hopelessness that you can't explain before you decide to:

A. Confront the woman by knocking on the bulkhead
B. Redouble your efforts to finding the code for the armory
C. Continue to search for the possible survivor
D. Find a sharp object an attempt to take your life
E. End it now and take a scalpel to your throat

A?! Surely you must mean C. This person knows what's up enough to leave clues for us ahead of time. She thinks everything is okay! The facility is full of bugs and dead bodies! Everything is NOT okay!

You choose to stay away from what you believe to be the deranged woman. Instead, you op to find who has been leaving these notes. You consider possible places this possible survivor could be hiding as you cautiously peek out of the infirmary. There are only three possible places that come to mind. First, is the crew quarters themselves. You look at the private quarters and see that their are multiple bulkheads still closed. "M-maybe in one of those?" you ask yourself. After all, you think: "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." You are horrified when you realize that the flesh raking sound came from the body of one of the many deceased and mutilated facility members. Judging from what the girl said, a few thoughts come to mind when you remember: "This should be enough for a few days!" You then consider searching the two other places. There is a possibility this possible survivor might have also made their way to the rec room since your return to this area of the facility. You also remember the artificial light shining from the kitchen back in the cafeteria. This was it. You knew that if you couldn't find this survivor in what you believe to be the last few moments of your life, then their would be no hope left."I have to find something... Anything!" you thought to yourself. "Just something to know that this isn't completely hopeless..." With possible locations in mind, you decide to:

A. Search the rec room
B. Search the kitchen
C. Search the quarters
D. Find a sharp object an attempt to take your life
E. End it now and take a scalpel to your throat

I choose C. TO THE RAKING SOUNDS OF DOOM.

You take a deep breath before stepping into the the private quarters once more. You look at the body and see the fresh cuts as well bite marks. You shudder at the thought at what the woman might have done while rejoicing about the fact that she did not notice you when you were there earlier. You approach one of the close bulkheads and open it as quietly as you can. What you see stuns you in place. The room is painted with blood and a body lies on the bed. He is tied down and it looks as if the meat of the man has been stripped from his body. You close the bulkhead immediately and move on to the next. You see the same grotesque sight with each one you open and it cripples your morale. You then here the bulkhead where the woman went inside begin to open. Quickly thinking, you close the bulkhead to the room you're in and stay silent. You here nothing on the other side and decide to wait. As time passes by, you notice that there is a piece of paper in the body's hand. You crawl next to it and remove it. It's a document similar to the ones in the research lab. You put it up to the light from your arm guard and read:













After reading the note, you sigh in relief at your first real lead. You now have somewhat of an idea as to what happened. You are also surprised at how long you've been out. "If I've survived this long, I can keep going for just a bit longer..." you say to yourself. You decide to:

A. Go all out and assault Rachel
B. Continue to look for the survivor
C. Go back to looking for the code
D. Attempt to get Rachel out so you can access her computer
E. End it now and take a scalpel to your throat

"The kitchen..." you say to yourself knowing it's the last place you didn't check. You press your ear against the bulkhead but hear nothing. You curse that the rooms are soundproof as you wonder how to check outside if the crazy woman is out there. "Rachel..." you whisper to yourself as you think of her. Taking a gamble, you open the door slowly. It creaks and moans as you make a large enough space so peek out of. You see and hear nothing outside so you let yourself out. Just as you do so, you hear a voice. You quickly glance to your right and see a woman standing at the end of the hall of the private quarters. "Hello!" she says happily. "I was just checking this man to see if he had any meat on him. All I found was this." She holds up her hand which is holding on to what appears to be a premature Egglayer larva. "It's survived behind this man's left lung all this time. I never thought they could live outside their eggs..." she says as she looks at it and digs her finger into its neck until it ceases to move. You say nothing to her and simply stare. "These parasites have been bothering him so much that he can't move. His antibodies have been fighting them off, but there aren't enough of them. In fact, I think only three of them are left in the facility. The strange thing is that I've only seen two in the last twelve hours. I had hope they could grow so that they could return to their master and fight off the rest of the parasites when my coworkers brought them in, but I din't expect them to bring one of the damned parasites along with them as well. Now they've spread all over the facility. If we don't kill them, how can the master feel better?" You listen to her rant before stepping back. She doesn't seem to be harboring any ill intent towards you. You decide to:

A. Take her out while she's ranting
B. Ask her what the hell she's talking about
C. Let her continue ranting and keep listening
D. Walk away slowly while she's ranting
E. End it now and take a scalpel to your throat

Going without visuals here, I don't know if this is Rachel or the person giving us notes...Need some clarification on that. Even if we didn't see Rachel before, they would sound the same if they are.

If it isn't her and it's the note-writer, then C, but stay cautious.

There seems to be some internal fighting among these species. Highly amusing.

And she might seem like she doesn't mean harm, but I think that's our character being naive! She won't be wearing the same expression while eating your arm!

I choose C. I feel like running will result in failure. We are at 0 hp, I think stalking around is just risky enough.

"Hmmm..." the woman says looking at you. "You don't look like the other woman I chased away. What was her name? Clara? Claire? Claudia? I think it was Claire. Anyway, she ran to the research lab when I tried to invite her to my quarters when it was just the two of us left. I haven't seen her since! I'm Rachel by the way."
You look at Rachel cautiously and remain silent. She gives you a smile and eyes you up and down.
"Don't talk much do you?" she asks. "But you sure look like a mouthful. The master's antibodies need as many nutrients as they can get to make their larvae grow and fight off the parasites. Would you like to help me feed them? And myself?

D. Run away

You run out of the private quarters immediately. Even though the wound inflicted by the bug that crawled inside your mouth causes you pain, you continue to run nonetheless. "Get back! I just want to talk! Promise!" you here Rachel's voice fast behind you. You cannot run very fast and she simply has to walk to keep in pace with you. Everything begins to spin as you now lean against the wall and pull yourself along away from her. After a few moments, you fall to a knee right at the intersection of the facility. You here Rachel's footsteps closing in as you try to get up. You manage to muster the strength to get up, but you cough a substantial amount of blood. "Be careful! Wouldn't want the parasites to eat you before I introduce you to my friends..." You decide to run to:

A. Confront the woman
B. Try to talk some sense to her
C. Run and hide in the research labs
D. Run and hide in the cafeteria
E. Other
