You slump down leaning against the generator as you put your hands on your forehead. "Great. Now what?" you ask yourself hopelessly. You then look at the creatures body, unable to ignore the glow it is radiating."If there's a will, there's a way!" you say to yourself with determination. You pick up one of the chitinous plates and begin to saw it in half. You then repeat the process with another before stuffing the four pieces into your pouch. They emit enough of a glow even inside your pouch that they light the way. You quickly head back to the research labs and take a role of bandages from the surgical locker where you got your makeshift weapons from earlier. You put one of the pieces you sawed in half against your arm before securing it in place with the bandages. You then continue to do so with the other pieces, giving yourself makeshift arm guards and shin guards. Just as you secure the last shin guard, you notice the closet which has been making the noise is now open. Though it is empty, you feel even more unsafe than earlier. You decide to:

A. Track whatever left the closet
B. Make your way towards the cafeteria
C. Call out to see if whatever left the closet is still nearby
D. Make your way towards the crew quarters
E. Other

You return to the hallway feeling a little more secure with your makeshift armor. Even so, the security does not last long since you can't see more than five feet in front of you. Every clang you hear on the metal of the hallways puts you on alert as you make your way to the cafeteria. Part of you also wonders how safe it is to be a walking glowing target. As you reach the bulkhead leading to the cafeteria, you twist the valve and open the door. You freeze as you notice that the entire cafeteria is covered in an orange fleshy growth. There are hundreds of capsules in the growth and they emit a glow that lights up the entire room dimly. A creature that matches the document you read paces around them. "Egglayer..." you whisper to yourself. The creature has not noticed you and you scan the cafeteria from the safety of the entrance. On the right, you notice the kitchen has been locked up. The grates at the serving window are pulled down and you can see the kitchen still looks pristine. There is also a light shining through the grate from the kitchen window that is definitely artificial. To your left, you see a bulkhead covered in the fleshy substance. You can read the sign above it and it says: TO ARMORY. Finally, right in front of you across the hallway is another bulkhead. The sign above it says: TO REC ROOM AND DOCKING AREA. You decide to:

A. Smash as many eggs as you can and kill the creature
B. Quietly make your way towards the kitchen
C. Quietly make your way towards the armory
D. Quietly make your way towards the rec room
E. Other

Egglayers don't normally attack until aggressed on their territory on if I remember correctly. I don't think we have the firepower to fight that room just yet.

Thanks! I'm a huge Castlevania fan and I'm excited with how many fan service lines they've pumped into the new one coming out in a week. The reviews have been lackluster, but it's not changing my mind when it comes to buying it! Anyway, on with the show!

You study the Egglayer's movements until you memorize it's routine patrol style. It doesn't take much to slip in the room and sneak you war over to the armory. You take careful steps, making sure that you don't bump, trip, or step on any of the eggs as you make your way to the armory. As you reach it, you notice an old style code wheel beside the bulkhead. Nonetheless, you try to twist the valve open to no avail. "Shit..." you curse quietly as you look at the code wheel. You remember in the report that due to the safety of the facility, the armory has not been in use to the point where no one remembers the code. "Maybe it's somewhere in the facility..." you say to yourself before you:

A. Search for the code in the kitchen
B, Search for the code in the research labs
C. Search for the code in the quarters
D. Search for the code in the rec room

I'm not sure where a code would be hiding...It should be in the research room in case things went south...Maybe in those secret documents. But it could just be as likely to in the crew quarters...or the rec room.

I'll go with D too, we already went to the research lab place anyway. If she didn't find it; it's probably not there.

Being the only place you haven't checked, you decide to investigate the rec room. You wait for an opening before you tiptoe your way over to the bulkhead that leads to the rec room. You praise your good luck as you slip in with the Egglayer not even noticing. As you enter, you see that the rec room is completely trashed. The single large flat screen TV is broken and all the equipment below it is fried. There are CDs and DVDs scattered every where and the once leisurely lounge area looks like a surgical bay gone wrong. As you walk, there are blood stains everywhere, from the floor to odd parts of the ceiling which makes you wonder. Being able to see no further than five feet in front of you thanks to the chitin providing a gloomy light, you jump when you see a strange figure just outside of your range of vision. You gulp before stepping forward and feeling a sense of relief. It was just exercise equipment. After a good ten minutes of fruitless searching, you find nothing that appears to be a code. You then approach the oppostie end of the rec room and finally see another doorway in view. Above it, it says: TO DOCKING BAY. "This could be my chance out..." you say to yourself as you decide to:

A. Abandon the search and see if you can escape from the docking bay
B. Search for the code in the kitchen
C. Search for the code in the research labs
D. Search for the code in the quarters
E. Other

Something tells me there's a big boss waiting for us near that exit. A/E, go further and see how it is?

You decide to check out the docking bay in hopes of finally escaping this nightmare once and for all. You open the door and sigh in disbelief. All the transports are trashed or now buried in the sand as you look into the water and at the seafloor below. Most of the transports buried in the sand are also pried open, meaning that the internal circuitry is toast. You notice that a good chunk of the transports both in and out of the water have broken eggs in them. It looks as if this were and Egglayer nest a while back. What you find most odd is the fact that the eggs are caved in, suggesting that someone or something broke them. You then realize what broke the eggs when you here a hissing sound behind you. As you turn around, you see one of the crimson centipede shaped creatures crawl from the wall and to the floor level with you. This one is a quite bigger than the one you fought before at what you guess is about nine feet long compared to the first which you estimate was about five feet. It has a crushed egg in its mouth and you see premature Egglayer Larvae fall out of it. As you back away from the creature slowly, your hearts sinks when you here a splashing sound behind you followed by ticking. You turn to see another one of the creatures crawl out of the water, its legs making a clanging sound with each step on the metal. From here, you decide to:

A. Make a beeline for the rec room
B. Bravely rush at the creature in front of you and try to kill it
C. Attempt to kill the creature that just came from the water
D. Wait for the creatures to make a move then attempt to counter
E. Other

Well, I would go with B if something we needed was in this room, but seeing as the docking bay is useless now, it's not even worth the fight.
