But, as a matter of fact, i dont agree with this measure. Come on, Jacob owns the place, he surely has some B-plan, or C plan or whatever other measures that he has to make people dont exploit the rep system. He just did it cause he was pissed and that's lame.
I'm sure if we put on a votation for that (properly, on the main page), the 'keep rep system' people would win. And i just dont say that because a lotta people who was exploiting the system would vote for that. Its because the thru people needs to be recognized.

Destroying the rep system because there are people who exploit it is just like forbidding cars because there are people who get drunk and drive. Should everyone be punished because of some minority?
or, in other words, Should the people that really contributes to the community be toss out to anonymity because of some people that doesnt contributes at all?

I'm pretty sure that if the FAKKU community thru members discuss about it, we could come up with a better measure than the one Jacob did.

There are 13 pages already and I'm not gonna read them all. I just read the first post and I think one solution would be to cancell the negative rep system, that way if you like some post you can +rep it and if you don't like it you just move along.

There will always be some jerk who hate somebody for no reason, there must be ways to make this place a bit more friendly but somebody will always fuck with somebody else. Is just the way it is, some people think it's funny and actually enjoy bothering other people for something. Maybe with more mods there's a chance to BAN these people but the mods are people too and therefore are bound to their subjectivity and might ban somebody inventing an excuse.

I haven't actually noticed this HATRED everybody is talking about because I never argue about anything, just post doujins and pics, read the comments if there's any, thank people for commenting or for some post I like and that's it. However, I'm not going to deny it beause this behaviour is everywhere. All I can say is that I don't like these jerks either and we should just ignore them instead of pumping fuel on the fire, INDIFFERENCE is a powerful weapon guys and with no negative rep system all they can do is bitch about something or somebody on text. That way, you'll only get positive rep from people who actually value what you are sharing.

Fallacy of false dilemma. If you say it like that then you are giving no room for alternatives. Because in truth what you said is just one of many possible responses to enabling the the +rep system. Everybody has a life of their own and I doubt other people's rep count should be a part of their problems. If someone just received 100 rep for a post how does that really affect anyone? Like I said before this should only affect people who are jealous or who have issues with the person because otherwise in reality it's just a number that motivates people. So if friends abuse their +rep and make it to a similar KLoWn level reputation they will not obtain anything that separates them from a normal user since unlike KLoWn and other uploaders or those who deserved their rep abusers just got rep from patting their own backs and no one would recognize them.

People who have so much time to look at other's rep and observe them change day by day then complain about it should just focus more in posting better and have a goal. They make such fuzz over something that should not affect them but rather they whine about other's fun. "Why does this uploder have +31 rep in one post!?" or "Having +15 rep in a single post is ridiculous!" They say so much like they're being left out on something. If people really care about the value of rep they should consider ways of saving it rather than whine about it and tear it down.

Just thought I'd advise you that if you want just the +rep system implemented, this isn't the best argument to sway users. Some members argue that circle jerking is the problem because it's breaking the system. There will be no value in rep if this continues. Saying, "who cares if it is a problem" isn't the best way to persuade these users...
